The Elite DJ Service by Dave Isaacs

DJ Dave was amazing! He asked a few simple questions about our style and played exactly what we loved! He kept the party going and made our wedding so much fun! The guests loved. He even played music from my brother's band that was a special request. I would suggest him to anyone and would use him again!

I was very disappointment to find out that the dj that was listed on our contract that would be at the wedding/reception was not the "dj" that showed up. The communication with dave from the beginning was difficult - I had contacted him several times to arrange a meeting and was ignored, finally after my husband reached out did we get a meeting set up but this still was not with the dj that was to be at our wedding reception. Dave told me on several occasions that he was "really busy" which is understandable, aren't we all?! Just not something I would tell a client who paid in full upon booking. Will it recommend his services to anyone!!

We made the mistake of hiring The “Elite” DJ Service by Dave Isaacs for our wedding. Dave was anything but “Elite”. Unprofessional after we prepaid for the DJ services, he responded to emails or text with “got it” or “ok”. A quick reply email is a bit casual, but fine. I let this slide, as this was a “destination wedding” and it was too close to the event for me to have to worry about hiring another DJ. There was never a touch-base of what to expect from him the day of or before our wedding. Perhaps it is my fault for not insisting a quick talk during the cocktail hour to go over mutual expectations. I thought as a professional, Dave would think to do this. He did not. It was incredibly embarrassing that I had several guests continue to ask me where our DJ was the entire evening… especially after we all starting hearing the same songs being played AGAIN! He failed to mention a “medical procedure” that kept him away from his DJ table several times during the evening. However, he had no trouble going out to smoke as my guests advised me that’s where he was several times during the evening. I am aware it is customary or common practice at events to feed your DJ, but I was SHOCKED that Dave decided that meant being with the FIRST table served (after the head table). This was completely unacceptable. He blamed this on us not having assigned seating at our reception. REALLY? The final straw was when I got home to notice he had signed our photo for guests to sign. NO IDEA why he felt that was appropriate, considering he barely talked to us throughout the evening. His lack of professionalism extended to how he handled our displeasure after the reception. My husband called Dave, expressed our displeasure to him over the phone and asked Dave to email me. I had returned to work and was consumed, so I did not have time to talk during the day. Dave emailed me not an apology, but excuses as to why he did what he did, to which I responded with a detailed email. Dave advised my husband via email he would call me to resolve. My husband advised Dave that I was upset, had no desire to talk to him and Dave needed to deal directly with him. Dave has not answered calls or given any further email. Dave gave us all sorts of excuses. Dave NEVER ONCE presented any resolution. Dave then lies publicly saying he “ended contact with you after catching you in lies and threats began and you attempted to commit Theft of Services by reversing your payment after I would not give you a 100% refund.” He goes on to fabricate an evening that never happened… one where we “were happy and dancing the entire night.” And apparently an evening where Dave remembers “some great conversations that we had.” He then goes on trying to save face for future wedding victims by saying “I loved you guys” and “You guys were really special to me” and then he accuses us of trying to “scam” him out of money. WOW- JUST WOW. He refuses to hold himself accountable for the lack of service provided and it’s US that are scamming HIM out of money?! I am pleased that after talking to the hotel, they too were horrified at his behavior and have removed him from the preferred vendors list so future brides won’t be guided towards this DJ. Even spoon fed an entire evening of music, he still couldn’t perform. I guess I should feel sorry for his wife.

Dave Isaacs should be hired under extreme caution. In fact, we would not recommend him at all. Our wedding happened just a couple of weeks ago. We had spent several months preparing on what was to be our special day. Our venue staff was top notch and we could of not asked for a more suited wedding coordinator. Hiring Dave Issacs was based solely from reviews that we later found out he solicits from his customers. We that said, we had a horrible DJ experience that can never be taken back. We had also paid in full three months prior. Dave left his DJ station several times during our night. At one point, my wife’s sister sat at his chair for almost 30 mins. During the evening, Dave left several other times – leaving the music in auto mode. Dave was seen downstairs smoking with our guests on several occasions. Dave was not focused on the event that we paid good money for. My wife and I spent a great deal of time putting together the entire song list – this could not of been easier for him. We had issues with Dave playing some songs a couple times. Dave also refused to play requests from our guests and at one point took cash to play a song he didn't want to – being that it was already played. Dave also made our VIP guests very uncomfortable by getting up to eat before my mother did. My mother came in from Texas and was to be the third table to be severed. Dave got up to eat between my wife’s mothers table and my mother’s table. There were six additional tables to be severed before the DJ. As we tried to resolve this via phone call and email, Dave has simply ignored us after speaking with me once and replying to one email – we are being ignored and are forced to file a complaint with everyone involved.

When I got an email from Dave asking me to write a review for him, I felt kinda stupid. Why had I not done this already?!?! Dave was awesome. He met with us to make sure all the details were perfect. He made sure our ceremony ran smooth and he carried that over to make sure that our ceremony was great. The music was perfect and people still tell us what a great time they had! If you want a great wedding, Dave is the guy to make it happen!

Dave was very easy to work with. He was very professional and worked hard to make sure our guests had fun.

We had Dave Isaacs for our wedding this a few weeks ago and he was the man! From the ceremony to the reception he played the music to our specifications. We were particularly impressed during the dinner/dancing portion of our wedding as folks didn't want to leave the dance floor! He kept the energy high all night! People have told us that we had one of the best weddings they have ever attended and the music had huge part in it. If you are looking for the best, hire Dave ... Now!

My husband picked out the DJ and he was perfect! He played all the right music and had a really good feel for the crowd.

Great DJ. Had all of our requested songs. Also provided DJ service four our outdoor ceremony and did a wonderful job.
