From the very beginning, Casey and Lisa made our entire wedding experience at The Elms truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived for our initial tour, we were warmly welcomed with...
kindness and professionalism. What stood out most was their genuine approach, unlike other venues that came across as overly pushy or sales-driven, Casey and Lisa never pressured us to commit. Instead, they allowed the beauty and value of The Elms to speak for itself, and that authenticity made a huge difference in our decision.
The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in a serene and natural setting, The Elms boasts expansive grounds, mature trees, and charming architectural details that provide a picture-perfect backdrop without the need for excessive décor. In fact, the venue’s natural beauty significantly reduced our need to invest heavily in floral arrangements or decorations, everything already felt magical.
One of the greatest advantages of The Elms is their flexibility with planning options. They offer several service packages to fit a variety of needs. Whether you choose to utilize their in-house planning team or work with your own vendors like we did, Casey and Lisa are there every step of the way. They coordinated seamlessly with our outside planner and made sure everything ran smoothly leading up to and on the big day. Their level of communication, attention to detail, and commitment to making our vision come to life were unmatched.
Thanks to The Elms, our wedding day was more than we ever dreamed it could be. From the stunning ceremony space to the warm and supportive staff, everything came together perfectly. We are beyond grateful to have chosen The Elms and highly recommend it to any couple looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but also run by people who truly care.
Forever Thankful,
Caje and Lindsey Naranjo

The Elms was an amazing venue! We wanted to have our wedding outside under the beautiful trees, but it was rainy and cold on our wedding day. The staff saved the day with their qui...
ck planning and set up! Janet (the owner) worked with me the day before to come up with a rain plan and they executed it beautifully. We had the ceremony under the pavilion and the staff switched the layout to reception mode very quickly.
They also offer in-house event coordinators to keep your big day stress free. Janet is very helpful in recommending local vendors, if you do not already have vendors chosen. I also liked that I was welcome to visit The Elms at any time if another bride was not there. The staff is very welcoming and will help in any way that they can.

The Elms of Coosada is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking with all the huge Spanish Moss trees on the property. Janet was a great lady to work with and what you get for the pric...
e is good. I was looking for something that came with chairs and tables as part of the package and The Elms had that. It was also very close to most of my immediate family. One of my biggest complaints is that she lets her dogs roam freely on the property the day of rehearsal and before the wedding. Her family does occupy the residents, she just rents it out for events and weddings, therefore, her pets are also on the property. I had shared that I would have liked to have the dogs put up in advance but both times that I arrived at the property (on rehearsal and wedding day) the dogs were roaming around. Even during our pictures they were out. Definitely make sure you make it clear that you would like the dogs put away!! My only other complaint was that we had to designate guest at our wedding to move the chairs from the ceremony to reception. She has a member of her staff on hand but the member present for our event did not help us with that. Overall, a good experience with those minor complaints.
I recently had my wedding at The Elms. Mrs. Janet (the owner) was very great at giving us ideas and letting us look all over the place, whenever we wanted. We had our rehearsal din...
