Nicholas was awesome! We have seen Nicholas DJ at two of our cousin's weddings and he has always delivered. From playing the saxophone during dinner which was a huge hit, to playing the keytar during the dancing. Nicholas was a pleasure to work with. He always was prepared for every meeting and took the time to learn everything we wanted. They were such a hassle-free team to work with throughout the whole process and even were able to add late additions I wanted a day before the wedding. I would 1000% recommend Nicholas for any DJ needs you have and he is such a wonderful person inside and out as well! Thank you for making Emily and I's wedding so much better!

We had JT from Elysium DJ our wedding and he was PHENOMENAL. We had people on the dance floor the entire night, and the energy was unbeatable. He made sure to play all the songs we requested (and none of the songs we put on our do not play list) and mixed them flawlessly with other great dancing songs. He also played matched the exact vibe I wanted with the songs he played during dinner. We had a ton of guests compliment us on JT. Elysium is a must-have for any wedding!

My wife and I hired Elysium for our wedding, and were absolutely thrilled with the entire experience from start to finish. Everyone on the team is incredibly friendly and responsive, and made the whole planning process painless. We were able to select from a handful of exceptional DJs, and Mark ended up being fantastic. We met him several times in advance of the event so he could get a feel for our taste, expectations and timelines, and he was able to hand-tailor it all to a perfect vibe that kept nearly all our guests on the dance floor until the last song. We're still receiving compliments on the music that evening! All in all the group is organized, professional, and the best at what they do. They are well-worth the cost, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

One of the easiest, most fun, and exciting vendors to work with: Elysium Experience. After our initial consultation with Nicholas, who is extremely knowledgeable and plugged in with the wedding/event industry, we picked our custom DJ/lighting package. We then had the opportunity to watch demos of the available DJs for our big day, and we picked Mark White, though all of them sounded great. Erica Mathew, Elysium’s Operations Manager, was so easy to reach out to with any questions, requests, concerns, or clarifications we had during the entire planning process. She, along with many other associates, helped us decide on so many things we wanted, including the uplighting, layout, and beautiful satin pipe and drape. Not only was she so responsive, but she went above & beyond to make sure it was an actually enjoyable planning process. Mark was an absolute DREAM of a DJ and emcee. When Elysium provided a spreadsheet to fill out timeline info, as well as our music profile list, Mark was there to help and answer any questions we had. We met with Mark prior to the wedding to make sure we were on the same page, which helped us immensely. On the day of the wedding, the Elysium Experience personnel were the most professional, flexible, and truly kind people we could’ve asked for. We had numerous people there to help Mark set up, and they were all there to help with anything that came up. Mark coordinated with our planner and other vendors so seamlessly, neither of us had to worry about a single thing all day. Now, onto the music: Mark took exactly the kinds of genres, vibes, and songs we had in our music profile list, picked some of the best ones, and so amazingly mixed them together during our wedding reception. He truly understands the science and psychology that goes with the ebbs and flows of the evening. We never expected so many people to remain on the dance floor all night long, but to our surprise, everyone was having a blast with the vast array of music being played. Mark somehow always knew when to check in with my husband and I, whether that be asking us what we’d like or making eye contact during the first dance to fade it out slowly. He was legitimately so fun, and brought such a positive energy to the entire day. We are so grateful to both Mark and the entire Elysium Experience, and we couldn’t imagine our day without them.

Nicholas is the best is the biz! We had somewhat of a unique layout for our reception, and he was able to help us figure out exactly what we needed to make it the best experience possible for our guests. From lighting to wireless speakers, to knowing exactly what to play and when, the energy was high and the dance floor was packed all night! We received so many compliments on every detail that was incorporated by Nicholas. The amount of communication, detail, and planning that Elysium provides is incredible. Our day was absolutely made by the whole team!

Nicholas is hands down the best wedding DJ there is! After he DJ'd a friends wedding back in 2019 I knew he was going to have the be the DJ for my wedding as well. So many of our family and friends have told us how much fun they had on the dance floor and loved the live saxophone at dinner. Elysium is also very organized and thorough with every meeting we had which we loved!

We would recommend the Elysium Experience and specifically Nicholas and Mark without any doubts! They truly have wedding music down to a science and literally kept our dance floor packed the entire night. Every time it felt like there may be a lull, Nicholas had something exciting up his sleeve. His instrumental abilities are incredible and added very unique touch to our wedding. After our first meeting with Nicholas, we knew that he viewed his job as more than just playing music, but truly establishing a fun and exiciting atmosphere. Let me begin by saying that I’ve been to a thousand weddings and I think that the entertainment company you hire for your experience truly makes the difference between a good and great wedding. If you want your wedding to be great, you HAVE to go with Elysium. They are SO MUCH MORE than a DJ. They managed our lighting, our music, the master of ceremony responsibilities. Nick has his expertise in this space down to a science and was able to respond to all of our concerns around incorporating multiple cultural traditions, keeping a long reception high energy, and most importantly he had all of our family and friends on the dance floor until our venue politely requested that we leave at 2:00 AM. I saw old people legitimately dancing to Dua Lipa. People stayed on the floor during the couple slow songs. The lighting elevated the whole space and changed throughout the evening to match the vibe. I highly highly recommend Elysium. We felt so taken care of and were able to just relax and enjoy our day. My feet are literally still in pain from dancing!

Nick and the Elysium Experience team were beyond wonderful to work with. Right from the beginning, they were extremely professional and had the level of attention to detail that will make any type A personality happy. With a date reschedule, we were easily able to postpone with them, no questions asked; something that we could not appreciate more. Nick was absolutely a highlight of our wedding day. The music fit the mood perfectly and our guests had a blast dancing all night long. It was honestly difficult to pull people off the dance floor at the end of the night. I would recommend the Elysium Experience to any couple getting married in the metro Detroit area. We cannot thank the Elysium team for making our night so memorable!

Elysium we’re amazing! They far exceeded our expectations as well as all our guests. We had such a great experience with Elysium. From the time we did our first meeting to the very last. The attention to detail is above everything we could’ve imagined. They truly do give an experience like none other. We were so blown away with the service the team at elysium provides. All the hard work they put in to making your day perfect does not go unnoticed! Leaving a very honest review. We had originally booked with Elysium for our June 2020 wedding that had to be postponed multiple times because of Covid. Originally, Nicholas Hardy (owner) was supposed to be the DJ at our wedding. Sadly, Nicholas was not available for our 7/30/21 wedding. Instead, he assigned one of his colleagues Jon to DJ our wedding. Jon was attentive and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding. He met with me to go over the song list, timeline and pronounciation of each person in the wedding party. To my knowledge, all set up was done on time with no issue. The timeline was followed and all was good there. However, we were not completely satisfied with the music that was played. There were a few too many slow songs. All in all, Jon followed the genre of music that we requested and did play the songs on our "must play" list. We just wish we had Nicholas. Erica handled all of the planning and communication leading up to the wedding day, she is fantastic, attentive and organized. I would still hire Elysium again if I had the opportunity.

We had our wedding a few weeks ago and could not have asked for better DJ services than what the team at Elysium provided, they were absolutely sensational! The Operations Manager, Erica, was so helpful and patient during our many changes due to COVID. She was available at a moments notice, always took a call, text, email without hesitation and had such a great and easy to work with personality! I knew from start to finish that our day was in good hands with her behind the wheel. Words would not do justice to the show Nick put on for us at the reception. Playing the saxophone and clarinet during dinner. Brought energy to our big moments (grand entrance, cake cutting, first dances) that kept everyone engaged and having a great time. Played the right music at the right time and was so flexible in any changes we needed before or during the reception. Ending the night with his Keytar playing was incredibly cool and we are still buzzing about how he helped make our day special. The Technician, Thomas, was all over the place at the reception to make sure their lighting set up matched the mood at points of the evening, to make sure the external speakers and sound quality was perfect to provide the experience our guests have been raving about, and had a great attitude. He was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the entire event. We are still getting calls, texts etc. from guests letting us know how great our DJ was and how this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, and we know that this day would not have been nearly what it was without Nick, Erica, and Thomas. I could not recommend Elysium enough, they are worth every single dollar you'll spend with them and more. You will not regret it!

Looking at a wide array of DJ options for our wedding, we hired Elysium not only because of their great reviews as DJs/emcees, but also because of their mastery of sound science. Nick impressed us with his knowledge of how to set everything up to ensure a great sound experience for our guests across the entire event space. Of course, when we started planning, we had no idea that COVID would force us to change all of our plans. Throughout the re-planning process, the entire staff at Elysium was compassionate, understanding and flexible. When we settled on a small backyard wedding on our original date, they checked local sound ordinances for us and worked with us to ensure that the plan for the day would work just as well as our original plan. When the wedding finally arrived, it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Nick's announcements kept the party structured and made it feel more like a "normal" wedding despite our small guest list. Thanks to Nick's DJing, we even ended up having a great dance party, even with social distancing and everyone wearing masks. He included all our must-play songs and created a full playlist that our guests loved. Nick DJed well into the night and we all had a great time. Overall, Elysium went above and beyond to make our wedding a blast despite all the obstacles that came up throughout the planning process. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to hire them for our wedding.

Nick was absolutely amazing! As we predicted after seeing him at a friend’s wedding. One of the main reasons we wanted Nick and Elysium Experience to be the head of our ceremony and reception sound! I remember the moment my now husband and I looked at each other, as guests of another wedding, seeing Nick in action for the first time, and we just KNEW; both of us, that we wanted, actually needed, him to be a part of our big day :) We have continued to receive countless compliments about the music not only for the reception, but also the ceremony. If not for the sprinklers going off 45 minutes before we were supposed to head home, we would have all been out on the dance floor that much longer! We appreciate Nick’s professionalism, knowledge, and genuine concern for all the craziness COVID added to our wedding plans and we can’t wait to involve him in our next big event! Nick and his team did a great job making sure our day was perfect. The way he approaches an event is different than anything I’ve ever seen. Over his years of experience he has the timing of certain events, music, lighting, and mood setting down to a science. I told my fiancé that a DJ could make or break a wedding, and let me tell you that Nick and Elysium made our night!

Nick and his team went above and beyond to create an atmosphere for our guests to enjoy themselves and dance their bootys off. The elysium team was responsive to emails, flexible when plans had to change due to covid and willing to help in any way they could. The Elysium Experience was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. So much more than just sound and lights. The team created three perfect atmospheres from the cocktail party, to the relaxing dinner, to a high energy dance party. It was a perfect fairy tale evening for our daughter’s wedding. Nicholas kept the evening moving along according to our preset timetable and music choices. He even surprised us with solo instrumental jazz performances during dinner as well as rock keyboard performance at the dance party. We could not have been more satisfied, and our guests raved about the DJ.

Nick and his amazing team made the choice to use Elysium an easy one for us. We were blown away the minute we had our meeting with them. Through out the whole COVID ordeal, Nick and his team have been supportive and flexible. Nick not only provided the perfect music (so many guests complimented his talents) but he also helped to bring our dream day to a reality with the atmosphere(lighting and cueing) throughout the night. We would recommend Nick 100 times over.

All I can say is WOW, I am truly so lucky that my husband and I got the chance to hear about Elysium from one of our final wedding venues, or else I truly don't think our wedding would have been the same. Nicholas and his team were truly impressive from start to finish. We were blown away when we first met with Nicholas, prior to signing him on for our wedding. He wanted to get to know us first, in order to get a feel for who we were, our personalities, an the personalities of those who would be at our wedding. He walked us through the psychology behind music, DJ'ing, and how to not only get people out of their seats but to make them feel like they WANT to dance even on their own. I was truly fascinated and so impressed! Nicholas then played a set for us in order to show us what it would be like and we were sold - he was to only super professional throughout the whole process, but was so FUN to work with + was extremely relevant music wise as well. He nailed every aspect of the day and was not only a great DJ (perfectly timed up every song for our wedding party to walk into, timed the ending of our first dance song perfectly, recorded every name of our wedding party / family to make sure he pronounced them correctly (which he did), but he also was a great host as well. He kept everyone exactly on schedule, and I could really trust him to make sure everything went smoothly. Finally, Nicholas also played the saxophone during dinner (which was INCREDIBLE) and truly got the crowd going. Trust me, I know it sounds a bit different at first thought, but it was AMAZING. He truly jammed out + got people in the mood to start dancing. This helped keep the party lively while everyone was eating (which is sometimes when things can " slow" down a bit post cocktail hour. I can honestly say that we are so blessed to have found the Elysium team. I'm being honest when I say I don't think our wedding would have been the same without him - they brought the exact energy we needed to make our wedding day a night to remember! DJs can make or break your wedding day, and believe me when I say they will make it the best day EVER!

WOW! I don't even know where to start with Nicholas and The Elysium team. I came across Elysium as their sales rep for truck rentals. I met with Nicholas and Erica and I instantly felt a connection with both of them. I mentioned to them that I was getting married the following year and Nicholas had a demo room set up for situations like this. I was blown away!! I am sure you are probably thinking "what could a DJ do that is so spectacular?". Idk how to explain it. Nicholas has like a science behind DJ'g and with this science, or whatever you want to call it, he had everyone out of their seats dancing and enjoying the most important part of the wedding; DANCING and the Party. Every single one of my guests in attendance at my wedding asked "where the hell did you find this DJ, he is amazing" I was delighted to answer with a smile and remind everyone that I found him. My wife and worked mostly with Erica and Nicholas and we didn't just have a DJ, we gained friends. We also volunteered to help the team a few months before our wedding at an event they had. I wouldn't change anything about my wedding, but if i had to change something, it would be to make the party longer and have Nicholas do his thing as long as he could. The Elysium Experience is worth EVERY penny.

Selecting Elysium Experience was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Everything they did was absolutetly flawless. Ceremony Sound & Music - Not only was the music on cue, but guests could actually hear us during the ceremony. We were mic'd up, which meant no weird standing microphones. Guests continue to compliment us on a great ceremony. Everyone loved that they could follow along and actually enjoy hearing what the Pastor and we were saying. Cocktai Hour - Perfect! Music choices and sound kept guests happy and entertained. Reception - The compliments continue to flood in. The announcements, sound, music and lighting were perfect. There was not a single awkward moment. Nick's sax performances during dinner took our guests by suprised and is still being talked about. Our dance floor was always busy and Nick knew exactly what type of music to play while also incorporating our favorite songs. Overally having Elysium was the best decision we made for our wedding. They are more than your standard DJ...they provided a REAL EXPERIENCE for our guests. Out of all your wedding decisions this is by far the most important one. Choose Elysium Entertainment!

Working with Nick and the Elysium team was an amazing experience from start to finish. The Elysium Experience was very organized and helped our planning process with no hiccups along the way. We have hired Elysium Experience for the past three years for our event, Bombers & Brews and we never get anything less than an amazing experience. Our DJ, Jon, has a magnetic energy that feeds into the crowd and he knows exactly what our guests want to hear while still playing our requests. Our guests and staff rave about the music and most of our comments from our event is positive feedback about the music. We can’t wait for future events with Elysium Experience.

The Elysium Experience was very easy to work with and wonderful with communication. Erica and I emailed back and forth quite a bit and she was always a pleasure to deal with. Thomas was my DJ and I received compliments on his music selection. My only critique would really be that he didn't guide the garter donning. Otherwise, we had an outstanding expedience.

REMARKABLE. We hired Nick and the Elysium team for our wedding at Eastern Market. The passion Nick has in creating and manufacturing the ultimate atmosphere is undeniable. The level of detail and precision he introduces to your event will blow your mind. I mean Nick turned what we thought was a simple song choice for the wedding entrance into an algebraic expression. He planned out the very second of the song each individual/couple would walk out to. It was incredible. Our wedding venue posed some sound quality challenges as it is basically an empty warehouse. Nick planned accordingly (and by "planning accordingly" I mean quite literally engineered) to ensure music quality was not compromised. We had first come across Nick at our friends' wedding and at the end of the night I told my then fiance I didn't care how much it would cost to have Nick at our wedding, we would pay it. As some reviewers have noted, guests will remember your event/wedding based on the environment, which is largely dependent upon the music. Months after our wedding, I still have guests telling me how much they enjoyed Nick, particularly his solo performance during dinner. We highly, highly recommend the Elysium Experience! Phenomenal!

Our Elysium experience was amazing! A coworker recommended them who had them at their wedding. We originally met with Nicholas who gave us a glimpse of what we could expect on our wedding day including lighting, sound, music choices...we were very impressed & they delivered everything they promised & more! Our acoustic guitarist for our ceremony was perfect & was able to learn 2 songs for us. DJ Jewel was phenomenal! He was so personable, interacted with the crowd, and made the night flow perfectly! There were guests who I saw dancing that never left the dance floor! Our guests had a blast & we received countless compliments! We couldn't have asked for a better and more adaptable team! They made sure everything was on time and in place with no surprises and worked beautifully with the other vendors. We had a very simple wedding and yet Elysium understood and was able to beautifully add to the experience. Despite it being an older and less "party" crowd, Elysium was the perfect choice to compliment the reception and we received a number of compliments from our guests. Nick and the Elysium team are INCREDIBLE. From the moment we had our first meeting, my fiance and I knew we were in good hands. I am not a planner by nature and did not have a lot of details settled as far as schedule for the day of the wedding.Nick put together a schedule and helped us make some important decisions regarding flow for guests. On the day of the wedding, the Elsyium team rocked the dance floor. For our first dance, we had Nick play the saxaphone with our song and it was such a special and cool moment for us. He then kept everyone dancing all night! We had many friends come to us after the wedding and tell us they had a blast and loved our DJ. The team went above and beyond when our vendor for alcohol forgot to give us vodka and one of the Elysium team members went and picked it up for us. The Elysium Experience was the best choice we could have ever made. They are professional, fun, and are well versed in what they do. You will not be disappointed!!

We did not stop getting compliments on Nicholas Hardy all night long and for weeks after the wedding. "Best DJ at a wedding we have ever been to!" Hiring Nicholas was truly, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He EXCEEDED our expectations and did an absolutely incredible job entertaining our guests!! Elysium was a WONDERFUL company to work with! From the very beginning they were easy to talk to and more than willing to work with us to make our dreams a reality. We had a very specific look in mind and even wanted a custom Edison bulb chandelier, and their designs exceeded our expectations! They also went above and beyond and not only set up our lighting the day prior to our wedding, but also come back the day of to make some last minute changes and to ensure that everything looked exactly like we wanted it to. Elysium exceeded our expectations for our reception. Booking them was the best decision we made for our wedding. Elysium is experienced in hosting the perfect reception, and that’s exactly what they did for us. Not only did my husband and I have the time of our life, but our guests had a blast as well. I cannot RAVE about Elysium enough! If you're even thinking about working with them, do yourself a favor and BOOK THEM! They are absolutely worth every penny and truly provide an overall experience. Honestly the best night ever. Nick Hardy, the Elysium Experience was amazing. The music and dancing never stopped. I wish I could post a video here showing Nick at work. Coming from the Mother of the Bride this was money well spent. Forget fancy centerpieces nobody is going to remember them at your wedding. We cannot say enough good things about Elysium Experience! Nicholas is hands down the best at what he does and our constant compliments of how awesome our wedding dj was prove it! We had Nicholas from the Elysium Experience as our DJ, and he was amazing! Not only was he so much fun the night of our wedding, he was so helpful in the planning stages. He helped my indecisive husband and I with all of our music choices which was exactly what we needed. Everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time the whole night. If you are looking for someone who can get everyone's attention and keep the party going right until the end of the night, Nicholas is your guy!

Elysium was recommended by our wedding planner because we couldn't decide between a DJ or a band for our wedding. We weren't really sure what to expect, but we were absolutely blown away by Nicholas and his team. He hands down made our wedding an unforgettable time and even had my 70 year old grandmother dancing literally the entire night. He serenaded our guests with the saxophone during dinner and played the keytar (and sang!) to round out the night. He also accommodated my Macedonian heritage and played Macedonian music for my side of the family. We did our initial hour consultation over Skype because we live out of state and we were so impressed with how thorough and organized Nicholas was (spreadsheets and timelines!) as well as his actual DJ skills (he gave us a live demo through Skype). He gave the perfect recommendations for our ceremony music and made us realize what a big part music plays during the entire day (and not just the dancing part of the wedding). He also did a great job of sifting through our and our guests song recommendations to build a library that was tailored to our tastes, while also using his knowledge and expertise to make sure the music matched the setting for each part of the wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc). Our venue is a little more complex than most because there are three totally separate areas that require sound (one for the ceremony, one for dinner and another for dancing), but despite the complexity, Elysium handled it like a pro and was able to sync the music in all three areas.

My husband and I chose the Elysium Experience for our wedding ceremony and reception in November 2017. We live out of town, but they set up several calls and were very responsive via email as well, so we were able to coordinate all of the details without any issues. One of the best parts about working with them is that they asked us to fill out an in-depth music profile, which allowed us to list out songs that are "required to play," "songs we like," "guest requests," and "do not play." It was great to be able to provide so much input on our music preferences and really helped ensure that all of the music played were songs that we liked. Our onsite DJs/MCs were Mat and Erica and we absolutely loved working with both of them! They were both so easy to work with and were so focused on making sure everything went smoothly, plus they did a great job of mixing different styles of music throughout the night to keep everyone engaged and happy. Working with Elysium was such a positive experience and the music and dance floor lighting, plus Mat and Erica's emceeing and support throughout the day really enhanced the festivities. We would definitely recommend considering the Elysium Experience for your special event!

Our wedding music and entertainment was high on our priority list. After talking with Nicholas on the phone, I knew I had to have him DJ our wedding. Then, after meeting with him, we knew it was more than just a DJ. Elysium did provide lighting, entertainment (and smoke machines/foggers...thank my fiance for that!), but it was like having a friend at our wedding. He made our wedding party vision come to life and it was SO much fun. The live music with the saxophone and keyt-air was just the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend their services enough. Worth every penny!

I highly recommend the Elysium Experience for the best DJ experience ever! Nicholas (the owner) and his assistant, Jim, were nothing short of AMAZING! After getting to know Nicholas during planning meetings, I knew my wedding ceremony and reception were in good hands. Nicholas is professional, punctual, creative, talented, and sensitive to the wants and need of his clients. I had complete peace of mind that the music for my special day would flow seamlessly, and it did. In addition to recorded music, Nicholas performed live music which was a big hit. Nicholas and Jim were able to read my crowd and play music that kept my guests on the dance floor all night! Many of my guests asked me where I found my DJ and gave me a great deal of positive feedback on their performance. You won't be disappointed if you hire the Elysium Experience for your event. They're the best!

Tom and I can't say enough about our experience with the Elysium Experience! Nick and his musicians were excellent in every way. Nick gave us suggestions on the sound system, music and choreography that had our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception run so smoothly. Nick stunned everyone when he played musical instruments during the dinner. Elysium made our wedding the best that it could ever be BRAVO TO NICK AND ELYSIUM EXPERIENCE!!!

The team at Elysium was great in every way. From the moment we had our first visit with Nick at the office all the way to our wedding day with Jewel DJ-ing our reception, we could not have asked for a better experience. We decided to go with Elysium because of their sterling reputation and they did not disappoint. Jewel was funny, charismatic, and so energetic as an emcee, and the dance floor was full the entire night! We can’t recommend Elysium highly enough. We had a perfect wedding and the efforts of Nick, Jewel, and all the Elysium staff were a huge part of that!

We were an out of state couple so working with wedding vendors was a little difficult except for our experience with Elysium. They were professional, organized, and helpful with not just the music, but also the day of schedule. Nick and Jon kept the dance floor packed until the last few minutes of our wedding. The music was amazing but honestly, they added so much more to our wedding than just great music (although there was a lot of it). Nick knew exactly what to play to energize the crowd and get people of all ages engaged on the dance floor. We also used Elysium for lighting (uplighting and 2 tower lights) and it really added a lot to the atmosphere. Even the office staff, especially Erica, was easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions that I had. Erica was also great about reminding us of upcoming deadlines and meetings, which was really helpful. I would highly recommend using Elysium as a wedding DJ and walked away feeling like it was the best money we spent at our wedding!

Do a good job of mixing music without just playing one song after another! Professional equipment set up and staff are very easy to work with.

Nick and his team really made my daughter's wedding a day to remember. Great music selection, his instrumentals and keeping everyone on the dance floor sell nigh night long. A night to remember!!!

Elysium Experience was great! The DJ we hired left unexpectedly and Elysium handled it professionally and with grace. They picked another DJ for us and took care of everything on that end - it made that aspect of the wedding stress free and we got an amazing DJ out of it that played live music and also made the reception a ton of fun.

Having Nicholas and Elysium Experience do the music and sound for our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. It feels so inadequate to call Nicholas a "DJ." He is so much more than that - he is someone whose passion for music and entertainment is SO evident every time you see him; he is someone who knows how to construct a set of songs to guide the flow of your event and keep everyone enjoying themselves. Every single person who attended our wedding absolutely raved about Nicholas. Even the staff at our reception venue were impressed; everyone from the bartenders to the doorman told us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they'd ever had there - and it was because of Nicholas. From his saxophone playing during the dinner hour, to his fun interactions with our friends and family, to the complete blast of a dance party that was our reception, Nicholas exceeded our every expectation. Leading up to the wedding, both Nicholas and Erica made the planning so easy. Erica was so on top of reminding us of our payment schedule and helping us fill out our song preferences spreadsheet. Our meetings with Nicholas honestly felt more like hanging out with a friend than a meeting between a vendor and customers. We cannot recommend Elysium Experience highly enough. Their product is worth every penny.

Nicholas and his team were AMAZING! Our wedding night was perfect thanks to them. Throughout the planning process, the team works with you according to you venue to figure out your needs (lighting, space set up, etc). It was also helpful that the team worked directly with our venue, whereas a lot of vendors went through myself and my fiancé first. The team truly exceeded our expectations. During dinner, Nicholas went around the tables and played the saxophone (we had no idea he was going to do this but it was amazing!!). Everything about the night was perfect and we cannot thank them enough! Would highly recommend Elysium Experience over any band or DJ!

The Elysium Experience is UNBEATABLE, AMAZING and was PERFECT for our wedding - we had the best time and so did our guests - we couldn't get them off the dance floor until the very last song... then they were begging him to keep playing! Nick and his Team from start to finish were very professional and helped us create the perfect flow to the night. From microphones to the playing the sax during dinner (amazing), music & lighting, it was a flawless event. For our vows that were outside, everyone could hear us! Our harpist was properly amped by Elysium, they make sure that everything is the highest quality of sound. Nick helped us with our playlist and special songs that we were having trouble picking out - he really cares and is there to help, which is much appreciated. Our wedding was three weeks ago and guests are still raving about it, wondering what party they can host just so they can have him DJ it! Thanks Elysium for making our night we (and our guests) will never forget!

The staff at Elysium were completely professional and very knowledgeable about how to handle our event. We had a challenging location in the Boat House on Belle Isle and needed to have sound and lighting throughout the building. They managed all the sound and lighting, as well as worked with the catering and rental staff to support them with their needs. Their communication with everyone was spot on, and in the end they created a beautiful atmosphere. It was a relief to work with such capable, caring people. Kudos to Nicholas, Erica, and all the staff!

Our experience with Elysium was absolutely perfect. From the first initial call with Nicholas we knew we were in good hands. Talk about a guy who truly knows what he's talking about. The communication with Elysium was always on point with prompt returned emails, texts and calls. The reception was absolutely amazing. Our dance floor was not empty once throughout the entire night. Nicholas surprised all our guests with playing his saxophone during dinner and keytair at the end of the night. He was super interactive and mingled with the guests, which we loved. After the reception, we have received non-stop compliments on how amazing our DJ was. There is absolutely no hesitation for us when we say that Elysium Experience is hands down the best DJ/Entertainment and we would recommend them to everyone. Thanks Elysium for making our day so special. I wish we could do it all over again. :-)
