The Emerald Forest Theater is an absolutely magical place to get married. My husband and I wanted to strike the perfect balance between an intimate day that felt almost like an elo...
pement while still having everything we needed to host our wedding, and this venue was exactly that. Our guests are still telling us it was the most beautiful and unique wedding they’ve ever attended. Grace was wonderful to communicate with throughout the planning process, and Jodi was so kind and attentive on our wedding day, always making sure we had everything we needed. I truly couldn’t have been happier with our choice of venue. We also chose to spend our first night as newlyweds in the treehouse across the water, which meant we got to make our grand exit by zipline (a memory we’ll never forget)! We already know we’ll be coming back to stay in the treehouse every year for our anniversary.
Where to begin? The Emerald Forest was our dream venue - we booked it from out of state after moving from Washington to the Bay Area last year. The photos were stunning, but tourin...
g the venue confirmed we absolutely made the right choice. The staff was easy to work with - they went above and beyond throughout the entire process to make our day organized and helped bring our visions to life with our decor.
Staying in the treehouse is an absolute must! Highly recommend for the married-couple-to-be. Would also highly recommend booking with their preferred vendor Subtle Approach for catering. It can be a bit tricky finding a vendor to make the hike out to the venue, and we can absolutely see why Subtle Approach came so highly recommended.
All our guests brought up throughout the day (and after the fact) what a stunning venue it was and how perfect everything turned out! Thank you, Emerald Forest and Team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.
I was able to realize my dream wedding and my now-husband actually enjoyed our wedding thanks to this stunning, magical forest venue! We had only our reception here, having made ou...
r ceremony location a bit more accessible so my grandparents could attend, but oh what a reception it was! We arrived an hour and a half late because of several mishaps at our ceremony location, but Jenni and Scott were very accommodating and gracious to extend our time so we were able to have our full 4 hours in the forest. We felt so relaxed as soon as we arrived, and our guests all had a wonderful time and many said it was the best wedding they’d ever attended! My new in-laws who got married on an event yacht told us we beat them for coolest reception. It was so much better than we even imagined and we didn’t need to worry about setting anything up or bringing in any decorations because the beauty of the forest is enough. If I could do it again, I would’ve definitely had the ceremony here too if not for my concern for my grandparents. The treehouse we ziplined to across the pond was our honeymoon suite and it was the cherry on top. Such a cozy, magical place. If you love the outdoors, or dream of an intimate, magical forest wedding, this is absolutely the place for you!
This venue is perfect for a small wedding. It’s about 10 minutes walk on the trail to the venue.

n outdoor venue that’s good for pandemic situation. When we found this venue on theknot.com, we felt in love right away. The team at the Emerald Forest was amazing and very helpful. Jenni answered all of our questions and had several checklists to help us get ready for the wedding. We also stayed at the treehouse air bnb on the night of our wedding. We loved it. It was such a wonderful experience. Thank you Scott and Jenni!
