The Emergency Broadcast System

formation and guidance so that we could get everything we wanted out of the evening. He helped us put together the setlist of our dreams. The band also sounds incredible. They are all such talented musicians. Even one week later, people haven’t stopped talking about how great they were! They play a perfect range of songs and brought the most fun energy that kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night. For anyone looking for a great live band, you’ve found them!

r wedding reception, they also played for our ceremony and cocktails (instrumental piano and guitar) and had a DJ for dinner and band breaks to keep the party going. Fil Pacino, the band leader, was super easy, very responsive, and professional to work with. The band truly fed off the energy of our guests which added to the overall energy of the reception. We could not have been happier with our selection of EBS as the band for our wedding. Thank you Fil and crew for helping to make our day absolutely magical!

lectric. Love you guys!

with and brought so much energy and excitement to the call. He was also so great to work with the weeks leading up to our wedding and helped put together an awesome setlist. They even learned 3 completely new songs that we requested and crushed it!  We had Fil play an acoustic set during cocktail hour, which was incredible and kicked off the celebrations perfectly. Their performance during our reception was more than we could have ever imagined. They brought SO MUCH ENERGY all night and kept the dance floor packed. Seriously… no one left the dance floor all night. The setlist was a perfect combination of classic wedding hits and newer songs like Pink Pony Club that got the party going. During their encore, they absolutely shredded Zombie by The Cranberries and it was truly the most memorable part of our wedding. Both singers got up on to a table and were jamming out with the crowd, it truly felt like we were at our own private concert. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the band was and we would pick EBS 10 times out of 10.   Our wedding venue was also on a small private island with no electricity that you had to get on by water taxi, and they didn’t even bat an eye about logistics! They brought everything they needed, worked with our wedding coordinators to lock in logistics and we didn’t have to worry for a second about their set up.  We would highly recommend EBS for any event and feel so fortunate that we found them for our wedding!

. He was able to accommodate some special requests too. The highlight was having my brother (best man) sit in on the drums for a few songs. The crowd got a bit raucous, but EBS was unphased. Fil and the band were also highly flexible and able to make changes on the fly, right up through the end of the reception. Most importantly, they sounded freaking amazing and everyone said the dancing was the best part of the night. Five stars, highly recommend!

easy. Fil exceeded our expectations in every way from his professionalism to performance and incredible musical abilities. Fil (and his assistant) were well organized, super talented, engaging, and personable. We got SO many compliments on the acoustic sets for cocktail hour and dinner. Fil has a knack for putting a personal spin on any song, which allowed us to sneak Metallica and Pearl Jam in without changing the vibe. Live music made all the difference but I also appreciated being able to direct the DJ playlist to avoid all the cliche wedding songs. Fil really allowed us to design a night of music as unique as our taste. I cannot recommend Fil and EBS enough, and can’t wait to see them playing gigs out and about!

I’ve ever heard”. They rocked! Everyone was up and dancing for hours. We went with the 6-piece band that included Anthony - wow was that the right choice. Anthony plays saxophone, keyboard, flute, auxiliary percussion, and more, which impressed everyone and got us even more hyped. They were quick to agree to play every song we asked them to play for the first/parent dances and processional songs at the ceremony. The cocktail hour piano was the perfect soundtrack - they also offered acoustic guitar. Fil did introductions and announcements in a fun way (but not too cheesy) and made sure he pronounced all names correctly. The audio support - mic’ing up the officiant, processional songs during the ceremony, mic’ing up people who spoke at the ceremony or gave toasts - was flawless. We didn’t have to worry about any of that stuff. The communication with Fil could not have been better. He answered every question we asked with kindness and optimism, and we asked a lot. They shared a worksheet that showed us everything we needed to decide. Hire them!

was extremely responsive to all our questions and his attention to detail ensured a smooth wedding day. Fil was able to integrate our preferences with his knowledge and experience with the band's strengths and songs that reliably brought wedding attendees to the dance floor. The band was also kind enough to learn a Chappell Roan song for us and absolutely crushed it! EBS team additionally assisted with AV services for the ceremony and for a violinist we utilized for the ceremony. For cocktail hour, EBS provided an excellent and somewhat relaxing R+B style piano-based performance that set a chill vibe before the energy of the introductions and first dance. When the full band was performing together, it was electrifying. Brooke (female lead), Fil, and the whole band surpassed our highest expectations. Early in the evening after the speeches, the band played a lower-key dinner set, including one of my favorite songs, "Free Fallin'," which first introduced our guests to the talents of the full band and provided the perfect backdrop. And when the dancefloor fully opened, EBS had our guests dancing until the end of the night. Our guests universally raved about EBS and many expressed to me that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. My husband and I will never forget dancing under the disco ball while EBS performed "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and many other club classics. Fil and EBS even made sure we had "DJ sets" in place for the band's breaks, which helped the evening to flow nicely. I cannot say enough about how at ease Fil made us throughout the whole process through his professionalism and excellent communication, and after their live performance, I can say without a doubt they were one of the best investments we made for the wedding. Five stars are not even enough to show our support!

ahead of time. He was a great emcee as well for intros and speeches. Our guests were on the dance floor all night thanks to the great vibes provided by the band, can’t recommend them enough!

il was also a very organized and professional MC and made sure that all of the music coordination went seamlessly from Ceremony to Cocktail Hour to First Dances to Reception. They communicated well throughout the planning process to ensure the setlist and all music was to our liking. It couldn't have gone any better and we would highly recommend them for any wedding or private events!

hole process of selecting music. They truly know how to keep the crowd engaged, our dance floor was packed the whole night! You will be in good hands!

esponsive, super accommodating, and dedicated to helping us curate the perfect set list for each part of our wedding: from the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour, to the reception. They truly captured our vibe and made each moment feel unique and special. Phil and his band are not only a talented musicians but also an amazing MCs. They helped us pull off the best dance floor opening ever, making a fun and complex drinking game easy to play with all 150 guests. His energy was infectious, and he got everyone out on the dance floor right from the start. And it wasn’t just the younger crowd—everyone of all ages danced the night away! The vocals and musical talent were out of this world, and the lighting added a stunning ambiance. The energy was electric from start to finish, including an unforgettable dance floor closer that left everyone buzzing. I honestly feel bad it took me so long to write this review, but we’ve been flooded with calls from friends and family telling us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. If you want your wedding to be unforgettable, hire them, hire them, hire them! We'll be traveling back to Massachusetts when we can to catch them play live at Carrie Nation or Landsdowne to relive how amazing it all was. Thank you so much EBS!!!

dding. One of the best aspects of their service is that they’re not just a live band—they also offer full MP3/AV capabilities and performed live keyboard music for our ceremony. Our guests were so hyped up on the dancefloor at the end of the night that an encore was demanded. I can’t recommend them enough! If you want your guests dancing all night long, look no further!

e entire process. Our wedding took place outdoors on Nantucket, which presented some logistical challenges, but Fil handled everything seamlessly. He communicated with us, and directly with the venue to ensure everything was in place. He performed beautifully during our ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance, and dinner. The sound quality and vocals were absolutely perfect, even in the outdoor setting. His performance set the perfect tone for each part of the evening, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how fantastic the music was. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and reliable wedding singer, we highly recommend Fil! He put on an excellent show and helped make our day unforgettable.

utstanding. The sound quality was truly amazing, guests could talk, they could dance, and truly had the best time the entire night thanks to this band. The genre and variations of music played was so impressive you can tell they are all extremely talented musicians who love their job. Amazing amazing group of people, highly recommend their services.

their repertoire is wide! So much fun!

nd out venue. Their electric energy, talent and professionalism was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so receptive to any special requests we had. We had a very unique line up of things to ask of them. For example, a pre recorded speech from my father, a picture slideshow, mother daughter dance, a few special family requests, and a live last dance for my husband and I that the band actually learned specifically for our special moment. Fil learned the song for us at my surprise engagement and it was beyond special to us. The tunes kept flowing all night and the dance floor was constantly full of people litereally having the time of their lives. We cannot thank EBS enough for their appearance and dedication to our wedding. I know people will remember our wedding and the fabulous music we got to jam to!

e vibes and energy of the Boston bar scene cover bands at our wedding. Of the many band leaders I talked to in the lead up, Fil was for sure the most easygoing and flexible in regards to our unique setup and what we wanted on our wedding day. While many other bands wanted to nickel and dime us for every little extra ask (e.g. having two sets of speakers inside a building and in a tent, lighting, special songs etc.), Fil was so flexible and ensured everything included in the base price. The ultimate kicker was EBS letting my new husband get up on stage and play 2 of our favorite songs together with the band, which absolutely made the night for us and required a great amount of work and planning that they graciously included for us. At the end of the night all our guests were chanting for an encore and did not want the music to stop. 5 stars all around and would recommend them to anyone who wants a hard rocking great time.

around great guy! We had seen Fil perform at a few breweries in the area and were blown away by his talent. We were planning our wedding in the Virgin Islands and hadn't booked a performer yet so we approached Fil after one of his sets and asked if he had ever done a destination wedding - to our surprise he had not but was totally on board with the idea. Fast forward to March 2024 where he put on an amazing performance for us on the beautiful island of St. John, USVI. All of our family and friends commented about how incredible he was, the staff at the restaurant and our photographers were blown away by him, and he absolutely nailed all the additional requests that we had him learn to make our perfect day even better. Thank you for everything Fil!

cuss details. He gave suggestions that were helpful and learned a few songs that meant a lot to us. We barely sat down once the band started. Our friends kept saying they were going to sit down when they didn't like a song, however all the songs were amazing so many of our guests were on the dance floor most of the night. The band played starting at our ceremony, on to the cocktail hour and then the reception. They guided us when we needed it and were flexible with letting our son get up and sing. It was nice having a Woman in the band as well. She had an amazing voice! All of our family and friends commented on the Emergency Broadcast system Band on how they were fantastic! We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have a fun , dancing , professional Band. We owe so much of our special day to the Band. Thank You EBS Sara and Skip Joseph

vely and fun. He was professional in all communication we had with him and not to mention a cool guy all around. Wouldn’t have changed a thing. Without knowing about the band at first we realized Brooke (our incredibly talented wedding cake/cupcake designer) and Fil knew each other and had this great band. Hire them….for everything. Plain and simple.

ning's schedule (which is way more important than you might think!) and that made for a flawless and awesome party. We highly recommend The Emergency Broadcast System for any event and if we are planning anything else like it, we will certainly be reaching out to him.

process one bit, and was very communicative. We sent him a few of our preferred songs for the evening and he built a setlist that perfectly mirrored the vibe we were going for. Cannot say enough good things about their performance that night, so effortlessly talented! Our personal favorite was their take on "Africa", incorporating many different sound elements into the song, which made the rendition that much more creative. We can't wait to work with EBS in the future and recommend them to all family and friends.

y and dance but we could still have conversations with our guests. Fil was so easy to deal with during the planning process. We can’t wait to hear EBS play again soon! Thank you Fil for help making a special night perfect.
