I don't know much about flowers, but I did know the type of look I wanted to achieve. I met with Phyllis twice, showed her photos of my event space, dress, bridesmaids dresses, and invitations, and explained to her as best I could what I was going for -- and that was it! That was all she needed to produce the most perfect bouquets, centerpieces, etc. for the wedding day. Even more -- she really knows how to work with you when you are on a budget. She told me how I could still achieve the look I wanted with the money I was willing to spend. I trust her completely and can't recommend her enough. Her style is impeccable.

Phyllis was great to work with! I had a small wedding, and she seemed so excited to work on it. She took the descriptions from my head (and Pintrest) and made them reality! We had a last-minute change due to table size, but Phyllis found a solution that was wonderful. When I showed up at the reception, I had to stop to admire all the flowers first! My bouquet was exactly what I hoped for, and the boutonnieres for family were perfect. Everything was wonderful and I definitely recommend The Enchanted Florist for your wedding flowers. As far as price, they were in line with what I was expecting based on blogs from The Knot. In my opinion, it's worth the money because they do a great job and it really pulls everything together.

How incredibly Amazing! How Magical! How Enchanting! After months of searching and reading reviews, My now husband and I know we had met with 2 of the area's top florist. We chose 'The Enchanted Florist'in Alexandria, VA. What an incredible experience. We decided to have our ceremony and reception in one location/venue. We met with Phyllis at The Enchanted Florist and from beginning to end the process was wonderful. At the consultation we went over what we would like to see at each location within the venue. She made suggestions I didnt even think of and expanded on the ideas we had. Our fall themed wedding plan had come together. On the day of, wind threatened the structure for the ceremony on the terrace. The Enchanted florist team came up with plan B when there wasnt a plan B. Art, local elements, and professionalism took to stage and what an incredible backdrop they created for our fall themed ceremony. We felt so calm and at ease as we put our trust on a team that truly understands what we wanted and they delivered. As the evening progressed and we entered the reception room everything looked so perfect, and so beautiful. The Enchanted Florist!! You artistic magicians!! You've mastered elegance through your floral design and arrangements. You made our magical evening look absolutely beautiful and will remain memorable to us and guests. Phyllis and the team at The Enchanted Florist did an amazing job. The flowers were beautiful and Phyllis really helped me during our consultation to pick flowers that would fit with the feel of our wedding and the colors. She also let us borrow lanterns for our ceremony for free! Highly recommend!

Great team, great service, beautiful flowers. I interviewed 4 florists for my wedding and Phyllis from The Enchanted Florist stood out from the beginning. She listened to my ideas about the overall look for the wedding flowers and was helpful in making suggestions about specific types of flowers and specific arrangements that would create the look I was envisioning and fit with our spring wedding. She really cares about the details and is passionate and creative. In terms of service and cost, throughout the planning process Phyllis was always responsive to phone call and emails and based on my research, I found the cost to be reasonable. On my wedding day, every detail (arrangements, colors, placement at the church and reception venue, etc.) was as I requested and all of the flowers were fresh and beautiful! I highly recommend The Enchanted Florist!

Phyllis with The Enchanted Florist deserves 100 stars! Working with Phyllis and The Enchanted Florist was an absolute pleasure and my wedding day was even more perfect than I could have imagined. The flowers were GORGEOUS and were the prettiest flowers I have ever seen! The flowers truly made the day so special and made our wedding seem like a fairytale. We got compliments on the flowers all evening and days after. I could not imagine a more perfect wedding and I could not imagine more perfect flowers. Phyllis was fantastic and does beautiful work. My bridal bouquet and our arrangements were classic and gorgeous, and she really captured what we envisioned for our wedding day. She is incredibly calm which is very helpful to any stressed out brides and she didn't even blink when I told her I wanted completely different arrangements a month before then wedding then what we had previously agreed upon. I would strongly recommend her.

The Enchanted Florist created the flowers for my wedding. Having been in and attended many weddings in the past, I have to admit they were the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, etc I have ever seen. The wedding venue itself was gorgeous, but with the Enchanted Florists' touch it completely transformed my wedding into a magical, fairy tale-like place. I loved every bit of it! They were wonderful!

Gina, we love you. We showed up to the shop on a coworker's recommendation because we could not find a florist who could work with our budget and our style (summer, simple, casual, rustic, romantic). Gina and the ladies at the Enchanted Florist won us over with their warmth, kind opinions, and willingness to work with our style/budget. I gave her a few colors, my mother's lace, and a picture of my grandmother to hang off my bouquet and got the flowers of my dreams! But better! I cannot rave enough. The flowers were light, summery, pulled the whole wedding together, and under-budget...Wow! I highly, highly suggest using them any chance you get.

Phyllis is extremely kind and does beautiful work. My bridal bouquet of peonies and spray roses was classic and fresh, and she really captured the essence of what I envisioned for our wedding day. She also made adorable boutonnieres out of baby's breath for the ring bearers that I loved. She took a lot of time going over our plan and the wedding details to find the perfect arrangements to match the ceremony and reception venues. This was extremely valuable to me since I don't know much about flowers. Also, she only did one wedding per weekend, so we were given a lot of time and attention. She even incorporated rehearsal dinner flowers so they could be used again at the reception venue. All around great, quality service.

Flowers were an afterthought for us since our wedding was held at an outdoor venue that was already beautiful, so I didn't do a ton of research on them. I walked into Enchanted Florist less than a month before the wedding and let them know I had a strictly limited budget. Gina made a bunch of suggestions, met my budget, and had them ready to be picked up on the morning of the wedding.

Absolutely LOVE the flowers the Enchanted Florist did for my wedding. Fantastic price too! Katie knew exactly what I wanted and put them together beautifully. So happy!

Natalie was a wonderful consultant. She helped work with our budget and helped me figure out what would look nice even when I had trouble describing what I wanted. Everything was delivered to the location and set up; we didn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding.

I want to convey my sincere (although much belated!) gratitude to the staff at The Enchanted Florist for creating a beautiful landscape of flowers at my April 2012 wedding! We first contacted The Enchanted Florist at the recommendation of a friend who described the flowers as her favorite part of the wedding. After seeing the amazing floral designs that The Enchanted Florist created I would definitely agree! I was first impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm. My husband and I were married the day before Easter 2012--a very busy weekend for any florist. However we never felt as though The Enchanted Florist had any other customers to worry about. Natalie Kappel was a pleasure to work with. When I realized I forgot to order flowers for my MOH's hair only 2 days before the wedding she not only made it happen without any issue--she even comped the flowers! In addition to the gorgeous centerpieces that exceeded our expectations, Natalie created 5 beautiful cherry blossom pieces, and aisle decor that created a dreamy romantic backdrop for our vows. She accommodated every wish that I had for my bouquet--incorporating lace and an antique handkerchief from my family. The flowers looked absolutely stunning in photographs and held up very well in our floral artwork that we ultimately had created. Thank you Natalie and all of the staff at The Enchanted Florist for making such beautiful arrangements that provided a gorgeous backdrop to our wedding.

This place is amazing. I worked with someone to get the perfect bouquet and boutonniere. I found something I liked on their website and they were able to take that, and the comments and colors I liked and make the perfect bouquet. It was red roses, so elegant.

The Enchanted Florist was part of the elopement package at the Morrison House in Alexandria, VA. While I didn't choose them, I definitely would have if I had had to find my own vendors. I didn't want anything traditional for my bouquet, hated the idea of hydrangeas, roses and typical flowers and our color scheme of blue and yellow isn't the easiest to find flowers in. Yet they did an amazing job of taking all those ideas and turning them into an amazing and unique bouquet for me. The day of I realized I had forgotten to request two boutoneirres for the best man and man of honor, but they pulled two together in no time and without any issues. This, of course, I loved. Finally the Enchanted Florist can do whatever traditional wedding ideas you want, but if you are a little creative or aren't afraid to do something different they have amazing ideas there too. Definitely go with Enchanted Florist and you won't be disappointed.

Our guests raved about the flowers. I like that they really listened to my requests. They are also good at making arrangements that are unique including branches, fruits, and other non-traditional items. They were also very flexible about us re-using the flowers/vases at our post-wedding brunch the following day.

I was very impressed with the Enchanted Florist. Melissa was incredibly professional and helpful and made sure that she knew exactly what I wanted. I brought pictures in of a wedding bouquet that I liked, and my bridesmaids bouquets looked just like the picture! Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful the table arrangements were, and they complimented my wedding theme nicely. I would definitely recommend the Enchanted Florist to anyone!

I used the Enchanted Florist for my November wedding and couldn't be happier! I told Melissa that I wanted full arrangements and to use fall colors, but more oranges and yellows than reds. We didn't do a trial, and I wasn't really sure what to expect. When my bridesmaids and I received our bouquets we all gasped. They were absolutely beautiful! Full and colorful! Everyone raved about my flowers all night. Melissa also helped me pick linens and chairs for the reception, and when I walked into the room with the candles, overflowing table arrangements and complementary linens, it took my breath away. Melissa was one of my favorite vendors to work with and absolutely delivered!

The Enchanted Florist was recommended by a family friend, so my hubby checked them out one day and decided that THIS was the place! Which was great, because we had just a few weeks to get ready. Melissa was so helpful, emailing back & forth suggestions & price lists so that we could make easy decisions. Multiple changes seemed to be no problem for this shop. All the flowers were delivered to the venue before we even arrived. Everything was GORGEOUS & stayed fresh enough for me to bring my bouquet on our honeymoon!

This could not have been an easier experience for me. I had originally booked another vendor to do all of our ceremony decorations and flowers, but due to their unresponsiveness and a couple of design changes I was looking for a new Flower vendor 2 months before our wedding. I found Enchanted Florist doing a quick search on Wedding Wire and it was the best choice I made. Melissa worked with me through email and on the phone to ensure that she understood what I was looking for in our decor. She was able to work around my schedule and the flowers could not have turned out more perfect, plus they were able to do it at a lower cost then my first vendor. I would recommend Enchanted Florist and specifically Melissa to anyone and would plan on using them again for any other floral needs.

Enchanted Florist (Phyllis) did the flowers for my wedding, which was in April at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna. Phyllis spent a good amount of time with me in advance to scope out our vision. I wanted pops of color and that's what Phyllis delivered. I LOVED my bouquet. Phyllis was able to find peonies to include in my bouquet, which made my day. We wanted to do something different with the centerpieces and make them the take-away. Phyllis used azalea plants, and every single one of them was taken by the end of the wedding. I loved the idea of our guests having something to remember us by as a living thing.

She is wonderful! She does the most outstanding job you could ask for. I have had the most compliments on how beautiful my flowers were. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect
