It was immediately evident that Mackenzie was genuine, hardworking, friendly, organized, direct, and had great taste to boot. Mackenzie (and the entire The Engagement Co. staff) provides a quality of service that is so hard to come by these days. She was dedicated to providing us with personalized service that brought our vision and dreams to life. Beyond the actual event planning, she was also genuinely happy for us as two people getting ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Planning a wedding can be stressful for the couple, so it was amazing to have someone in our corner, championing us and reminding us how joyful and special this time in life is. Mackenzie has extensive experience in the industry and her love for her craft shines through in her work. When I started planning the wedding, I quickly realized that this was a major industry in which I had absolutely no experience. Mackenzie served as the ultimate guide in helping us navigate the ins and outs. She has fantastic contacts and connections in almost every subsector of the wedding/event planning industry. This helped us immensely in sorting through seemingly infinite vendor options and ultimately selecting some truly amazing vendors. The Engagement Co. staff, including site manager Kristin, were also awesome and wonderful to work with. Throughout the process, The Engagement Co. was also respectful and conscious of our budget. Mackenize did a lot of work to make sure each dollar we spent was going to derive strong value. In my humble opinion, Mackenzie has impeccable taste. She also has relentless attention to detail. No task or detail was too small for her to tackle and she took every opportunity she could to make each detail magical. Mackenzie has a design background which comes through in her event planning. She can come up with beautiful and unique ideas that I would have never been able to come up with myself. On top of all this, our family and friends loved her and she provided individualized service to so many of our guests without us asking. This was totally unexpected but so appreciated. She even took the time to coordinate a surprise speech for us during the reception from a special guest who was unable to attend. Ultimately, our wedding turned out to be stunning, one-of-a-kind, well-orchestrated, and an overall joyous celebration. We have Mackenzie and The Engagement Co. to thank for that!
