Note: I see another reviewer mentioned they couldn't get a hold of the venue by phone. They are responsive via email and you can always show up to the venue in-person as well. Once I booked the venue, Ms. Cindy also gave me her direct line.
Choosing this venue was THE BEST decision I made during this entire wedding planning process (outside of choosing my wonderful husband, of course!). The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the food was phenomenal, and Ms. Cindy is an angel walking among us. The venue also hosted our rehearsal lunch and our wedding party is still raving about the food. They were so kind, thoughtful, and really flexible/accommodating. Most venues have a really long list of things you can't do - Cindy and the BES team were solely focused on making sure hubby and I had the best day.
Seriously, if you're debating having your wedding here, just go ahead and do it.
Beautiful venue but I was unable to pursue a lead with them because their team never responded to my email messages or phone call!
When your wedding guests approach you during the reception to comment on the tastiness of the appetizers, the perfection of their steak & salmon meal, the excellent service delivered by each server and bartender, well, what more be said! But the compliments don't stop there!
The decor throughout the club was stately and proved to be a highlight for our wedding guests to pose with their family for keepsake photos. The rooms available to the wedding party for their preparation was highly accommodating and the convenience to the neighboring hotel was unbelievably convenient and so appreciated by our out-of-town guests!
The attention to detail by Asha and Danielle was top notch; the cuisine by Chef Kelvin was superb and the serving staff where nothing less than excellent. Every request, every whim was addressed and delivered with service excellence. You will not be disappointed in your experience with The Engineers Club at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion for your wedding venue.
We got married late in the Fall 2022 season and overall had a great experience with the Engineers Club. As a type A person, I struggled a bit with a lack of communication from 10 to 4 months away from the wedding. However, Asha COMPLETELY came through for us during crunch time and listened to my every want and need. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, without either of us having to worry about any logistics. We received so many compliments on every aspect of the venue -- food, drinks, ambiance, vibe, staff, etc. In the end, I never should have been worried... They definitely know what they are doing! Highly recommend, just be patient :-)
We had our December 2022 wedding reception at the Engineers Club. The evening was everything we had dreamed of and more! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, unique, elegant and is just something truly special. Several of our guests commented it's the most beautiful wedding venue they've ever seen. The food was delicious - from freshly shucked oysters, to some of the best crab cakes we've ever had - the Club has an incredibly expansive menu to choose from for your big day. The staff were also extremely pleasant and wonderful to our guests - so respectful and willing to help in any way they could with anything that came up during the reception. Asha was also an absolute pleasure to work with - she was incredibly professional, responsive, and instrumental in the planning of everything leading up to the big day. The Engineers Cub team is wonderful and we cannot say enough good things.
From the time we saw the Engineers Club, we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. It embodied our ideal wedding of “We just want to show up and do the thing. And then mega dance party” Being able to get ready on-site, hang out, relax, and then party was exactly what we wanted. Everything in one place, no one rushing from one place to another.
The space itself is gorgeous — from Tiffany windows to gorgeous wooden staircases, an ornate ballroom and a light and airy drawing room — we had so many options to choose from when it came to the flow of our wedding and pictures. Who needs to dress up a space when you already have so much to look at!?
The food? Delicious. Our guests didn’t know what to talk about more, the space or the food! (Speaking of, our food tasting was a private affair, just the two of us, which made it feel all the more intimate and special. And fun!)
There were little touches that meant the world to me. They moved the chuppah under which we got married into the ballroom for my husband and I to feast under. They worked with our family members to coordinate surprises for us. They made sure we had food and drink during the event so we couldn’t go hungry. They added little details and touches from their private stock so we didn’t have to think about additional decor purchases (table numbers, candles, etc.)
And they made sure everything was where it needed to be so we could show up and do the thing. And then mega dance party. And the morning after, there was an email from Cyndi with a personal note that made us both feel honored.
Speaking of Cyndi, she was our wedding guru, responsive to all our emails and phone calls and questions (of which there were many!) When COVID struck and we had to postpone our wedding a year, Cyndi and Asha worked with us so we could make it happen on what would become our one-year anniversary. Talk about an anniversary party!
It was magical, special, creative, thoughtful, and amazing in basically every way. These ladies know what they’re doing and to say you get your money’s worth is putting it mildly. What an incredible experience from beginning to end. I can’t say enough about how special the Engineers Club is.
Our wedding was September 18, 2021 and there is no exaggeration when I say that the Engineer's Club was.... PERFECT. From food to staff; from booking/planning to execution, it was professional and fun as hell.
I've been to so many stuffy Greek weddings where things look good but the food is meh, attitudes are shit, and it is essentially an empty shell of itself. Samantha and I knew we wanted to make sure everyone was happy - not just our guests but the staff. Asha, the coordinator, is a powerhouse, like the perfect mom figure that's going to keep things on track. The food. THE FOOD. Chef's food was incredible, consistent, people were complimenting. Staff was energetic, courteous, fun.
Honestly, if you're considering, do it. You are in GREAT hands.
The venue was great and the staff very supportive. Gorgeous spaces and fantastic food, also already acquainted with a ton of vendors. Asha, the person who is coordinating everything, knows her stuff. She's very experienced and able to get everything done. I definitely recommend this place to others. I especially appreciated them working with us to reschedule because of the pandemic.
The Engineer's Club at the Garrett Jacobs Mansion is quite simply the best of the best. The venue is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. But a lovely venue does not make a great wedding. A great wedding is completely dependent on the dedication and hard work of an entire team of people, many of whom you never see. The Engineer's Club has it all. From the bartenders, to the servers, the porters, the chef, the kitchen staff, and the truly amazing Asha, every single person brings their 'A' game. All of the food was amazing – truly beyond our expectations. We also loved that they have an awesome bridal suite with hair and makeup stations and a groom’s suite with a TV and pool table so we could all get ready onsite. It really made everything so much easier and stress-free. We so appreciated that Asha and her team were flexible and accommodating with every request we made. We wanted specific wines, she said yes. We had specific requests for lunch, she said yes and made sure everything was beautifully presented. We wanted to extend the reception until late, they said yes, and then stayed until the early hours of the morning making sure everything we had brought was organized and cleaned up for us to pick up on Sunday morning. We simply can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Engineers Club. We would do it again in a heartbeat.
The venue is so stunning on first glance it is hard not to fall in love. So much space, so gorgeous with an old world, glamours feel. A million different options for photos and arrangements of events. So you think cannot get much better... then it does. At the tasting I wasn't expecting much since the venue is so beautiful you do not need great food. Was blown away because every hors d'oeuvres was phenomenal. Then came the main course options. Heavenly. Oh and by choosing the venue you become members in the club, so can attending great events (orchestra, teas, dance classes) and incredible brunch. Really get a great feel of the space prior to the big event so it feels more comfortable day of. Then there is the wonderful advantage that you get the whole building for the day. No set times to be in or out. Showed up at 9 am, got hair and makeup there, had lunch, really felt at ease and got to enjoy the whole day. To top it all off the staff was so wonderful. Had to thank each of them individually because they worked their butts off, but also were fun, sweet people. Those bartenders were fabulous and the event coordinator, Asha, was so amazing at her job but she was also such a great person I think I am going to miss her. Could not be happier myself, but also had countless compliments from guests. Not a single regret.
We loved everything about our wedding at the Engineer's Club. We had our ceremony and reception here. From start to finish, it couldn't have been more perfect.
Asha is wonderful. She knows her stuff and you will be in good hands!
All of the staff at the EC were beyond friendly and our guests raved about how nice everyone was.
The food was delicious - cocktails, h'orderves, entrees - couldn't pick a favorite! If you book your wedding here expect a magical day that you'll want to relive!
The most spectacular venue! The Engineers Club was the perfect venue to host our wedding reception (180 guests). The beauty and charm of the mansion is one of a kind. Every single room is so unique and breathtaking. Not to mention the staff is truly extraordinary! Working with the staff at The Engineers Club (especially Asha) was a joy! They went above and beyond to make our wedding reception the most joyous and beautiful event! Working with a staff that is as kind, friendly, accommodating and welcoming as the staff at The Engineers Club made our wedding that much more special. Also, the food is out of this world! Every hors d'oeuvre and dinner dish that was served at the wedding got rave reviews from every single one of our guests!! Also, my husband and I added on a brunch the next morning for all of our guests at The Engineers Club. The brunch was just as amazing as our reception the night before! My husband and I cannot express how fantastic The Engineers Club is!
Gorgeous venue! Asha is so sweet and thought of every detail - including making sure that one of my bridesmaids (who had to fly back early to work) get food to go before the meal is served! The location is absolutely gorgeous especially the woodwork and the Tiffany glass dome! There's also an indoors courtyard area with glass ceiling - beautiful and gives that outdoor feel without having to feel the wind blasting outside! We love this location and are so glad we've found this place!
The Engineer’s Club at the Garret-Jacobs Mansion is the most elegant of wedding venues with a phenomenal staff. Asha Hislop is the wedding coordinator for the venue, and she is a superstar. Asha and her staff took care of every little detail the day of the wedding, including bustling my dress after the ceremony ☺ We had the entire mansion to ourselves the day of the wedding, with the bridal party getting ready in a suite upstairs and the grooms’ party getting ready in a downstairs suite. Our family and friends are still raving about the food and drinks (we served the Chicken Oscar and the New York Strip Teryaki), and how friendly and helpful the staff were. The Club was so gorgeously decorated for our December wedding, that my Facebook feed is filled with guests taking family photos all over the venue. We all felt like we stepped write into an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel- thank you for a glamorous and absolutely magical wedding day!
I can't recommend the Engineers Club highly enough. Asha Hislop, the coordinator was fantastic. She made everything happen smoothly and on time. She even quickly bustled my dress! The elegance of the venue, the quality of the food and the waitstaff, and Asha's amazingness made my wedding a huge success. If you want am amazing, high-quality wedding that will have your wedding guests talking for years afterwards, pick the Engineers Club and rest easy knowing you are in the best hands.
I cannot say enough great things about this venue, Asha Hislop, and all of the Engineer's Club staff.
The venue is absolutely beautiful and very unique. We had our ceremony in the atrium, cocktail hour in the drawing room and library, dinner in the ballroom, and dancing in the atrium ("under the stars"). It very comfortably sat 160 people for our wedding but could have easily fit more. Many people told us it was the nicest weddings they have every been to!
Asha made our day absolutely amazing and kept everything running smoothly. She was very organized throughout the planning process - especially during the last two months leading up to the wedding. She and her staff went above and beyond to assist us with special requests and needs (ex: assisting elderly and handicapped guests).
Asha and her staff were extremely friendly, extremely helpful, and were so great at entertaining and taking care of all of the guests. All of the food was amazing - particularly the entrees (Tenderloin Forester and Orange Salmon).
We highly highly recommend the Engineer's Club!
If nothing else (and there is lots else), Engineer's Club gets five stars because of Asha! She is amazing, patient, helpful, kind, goes out of her way to help with EVERYTHING. I simply can't say enough.
Then there is also the venue itself, which is gorgeous and the food is spectacular.
Any building can be a party place, but only a historical mansion can be a place for a magical wedding. And that is exactly what The Engineers Club, a national historic landmark in Baltimore, is - the most luxurious mansion, build for people, who appreciate the finer things in life. RimasFilms can honestly say, that The Engineers Club, is the capital of Hospitality. Having Your special day here, will make it magical, unique and personal. With professional administration and helpful staff, You, will only need to worry about choosing the right person, to capture the most precious moments of the day.
The Engineer’s Club was simply amazing. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. I was very reluctant to even go see the venue because I had priced it out online and thought it would be too expensive for us. But my fiancé really wanted to check it out so I obliged him.
This venue was exactly what we wanted; a historic mansion in the city with space to fit all of our guests in the same room at one time. After seeing the mansion I was really excited, but still worried about the price. Luckily, we were told from the beginning that they were willing to negotiate the price. We were able to knock a decent percentage off of the price as well avoid paying the membership fee because we had our wedding on the same day as someone else. Typically if you rent the mansion, you get it for the whole day, but someone else was having a brunch wedding the same day, so we weren’t allowed to get there until 4:30pm. That worked fine for our schedule.
There’s so much you can do with the beautiful mansion and the coordinator, Asha gives great advice about how to use all of the rooms. We spread out and had the ceremony in the drawing room, cocktail hour in the courtyard, dinner in the ballroom with the buffet in the library and dancing in the courtyard. Most other venues I saw had everything in one or maybe two rooms. I liked that we had free roam of the first floor. The other great thing about getting married at the Engineer’s Club is that everything is included; they don’t nickel and dime you for little things. Asha was very helpful and said “Yes” to almost everything I asked. She would worry me because she never seemed to write anything down when we would meet, but sure enough she remembered all of the details the day of! We were able to have access to a piano, vases, other decorations and a signature drink all without paying any extra. Again most venues I spoke to would charge extra for every little add on. The only thing the Engineer's Club would not throw in were the lights that are strung across the courtyard ceiling (I guess they don't keep them up all of the time), but when it came time for our wedding day, it seems that someone else getting married that weekend must have ordered them because they were up! If you are thinking about getting married at the Engineer’s Club I would recommend that you at least go look at it and talk to Asha because you can probably make it work for your budget.
CANNOT say enough good things about The Engineer's Club and Asha (the venue coordinator). Our wedding was literally more than anything we could ever dream of thanks to Asha and her team!! I had seen many, many, venues before stumbling across the Engineer's Club and it is truly a hidden gem. The pictures you will see online don't even do justice to how elegant and beautiful of a place it is. There are so many rooms- each unique, and we loved that we had the whole mansion to ourselves for guests to roam around and enjoy themselves. I was super picky when picking a wedding venue, getting hung up on carpets or the bathrooms or any little thing at venues we visited. There is not one detail left untouched in the Engineer's Club!
My husband and I ended up getting married in the dead of winter (not our first choice, but the only time our crazy grad school schedules worked out), so we had a brunch wedding partly to create a more airy, light feel. We had brunch in the atrium and it was absolutely gorgeous! We felt like we were eating in some sort of European garden with the high glass ceilings, beautiful plants, and natural light. The food was truly that of a 5-star restaurant and we got so many compliments about the food. The service was exceptional and my husband (and all our guests) felt like we were royalty on our wedding day. The staff was so friendly, and really went out of their way to make sure we did not lift a finger from the night before our wedding when we were setting up to throughout our wedding day. They even had tons of champagne, juices, etc. ready for us when we were getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite that morning!
Asha, the coordinator for the Engineer's Club, was truly phenomenal to work with. She was so dedicated to tailoring everything to our wishes- and accommodated all of our requests as far as fine-tuning the menu, adding in many of our own touches to the reception, letting us bring in whatever decorations we wanted, etc. etc. I could go on forever about Asha but she had so many great recommendations for any vendor we were looking for, knew the flow of events very well and kept us on schedule, and worked diligently behind the scenes throughout the day to make sure everything went smoothly (ex: moving the bridal party bouquets around the venue to decorate depending on where we were in the reception, or flipping our guest book/sign in table to a candy bar table, or making sure I had my shawl when my husband and I did our final exit into the limo). We didn't even have a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator, and while at first we were alittle nervous about this, Asha truly did it all. All of our friends are still, months later, raving about how high-class the wedding was and how the Engineer's Club is truly an amazing venue. Thank you, Asha!!!
I was reading the other review and the bride is correct .This venue is so beautiful, the food is delicious, the drinks are poured just right but buyer beware! I had numerous complaints that our guests never saw the hot appetizers. The small amount in the bridal room were cold and we had 22 people in the party. The bride who had issues with the wedding coordinator is right on target too. She does what she wants and not what you ask her to do. I didn't' have any last minute changes. I had countless meetings and emails with both coordinators and they just blew off my requests as the event was unfolding!! First of all, the coordinator doesn't return emails or phone calls to you or your vendors? We also asked for the invoice ahead as well and when we got it 3 days before the wedding with overcharges. We gave them very detailed floor plans for the seating. My husband did not sit with me at Table 1! He had to sit with the grooms family!! They were told immediately during the seating that there was not a spot for my husband. I was running around trying to find someone to fix the problem . I missed most of his speech. So instead of enjoying my meal I was annoyed at their incompetence .My beautiful flowers that were suppose to be given to my family and friends the next day at a breakfast were given away to the staff without permission!! My expensive head table centerpieces were gone!! I In lieu of favors I made a donation and had a presentation to be put out during the cocktail hour. I found then under a table at 11 p.m. I am still wondering why all of my pastries were never replenished at the dessert table? I paid for strawberries / whipped cream but that was never put out either ? Our gifts were never locked up but left out all night? They say yes to your requests but on the day you will find out that they don't chat with each other or you ! They do what they want even with what you paid for without asking! Parents of the Bride (November 2014)
My husband and I got married at the Engineers Club this past month and we were blown away by how everything turned out. The mansion was built in the 1800s and is out of this world. We didn't have to go overboard on decorations, because the venue itself was enough to wow our guests (think traditional elegance). The club also sits directly on Mount Vernon park, which is arguably the most beautiful spot in the city (and very convenient if you want to continue the party in Mt Vernon afterwards). We had free reign of the club on our wedding day, and we made use of it all- getting ready at 7am in the bridal suite- then moving guests from one room to the next as our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception progressed. We decided to do a Saturday brunch wedding to cut down on the costs, with the addition of some hors d'oeuvres, a salmon entree and crepe station. A lot of our guests raved about the food, but they were even more impressed with how beautiful the venue was (some saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to). It truly felt magical, and we could not have picked a better place to celebrate our marriage. Asha Hislop was our coordinator at the club, and she was right there with us the whole year while we were planning... remembering all of our little requests and making sure none of the details were overlooked. Asha is a true asset to the club, and although she was a bit busy at times (coordinating event after event), she never made us feel like we weren't a priority, and she always made time to meet with us to work through our questions. They were extremely accommodating, and even extended our wedding an extra hour with no additional charge (4 hours total), and served drinks to our guests as they arrived before the ceremony. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Asha! We had a friend sponsor us from the club, so we didn't have to pay an extra fees to book or join (although we would love to become members one day). We felt the overall bottom line price was very reasonable, which allowed us to spend in other areas. Bloody Marys and Mimosas were included in the per person brunch price, and for the rest we did an open bar per consumption (which totally worked for our daytime affair of about 130 people). Our wedding was like a dream come true, and I couldn't be more impressed with the Engineers Club and their entire staff. Can't wait to go back!
I would highly recommend this venue! My husband and I had been shopping in and around Baltimore for a venue to hold our wedding, but we knew we had found the perfect place when we stepped into the lobby. It has a rich and detailed decor that we didn't even need to much else to decorate. Krystal, the event planner, helped us out a lot with arranging the details for the event, and the rest of the staff were always friendly and accommodating.
One of the things that also sold us on the venue was the fewer pieces we needed to put together for the big day. They took care of all the tables, chairs, etc that otherwise you would need to rent. They also do the catering. I thought this would be a deal breaker for me, but everything we tried was excellent and they offered some tasty options for our vegan friends.
The one stipulation of using this venue is needing to join the club before you can use it, which means a little more money, but it was well worth the perfect day.
As soon as Ed and I got engaged we had appointments with many different reception sites all over Baltimore City. The first place Ed and I visited we thought we were sold. Ed and I had other appointments scheduled for that night. We did not want to be rude so we decided to still go ahead and meet with the other reception sites. Boy am I glad we did!! Our second appointment was at the Engineers Club. As soon as Ed and I walked into the Club we grabbed hands and looked at each other, we knew this is was it!
When entering the Engineers Club you can not help but notice its incredible architecture! We met with Asha and she took us through the entire club. There are four rooms in the Club; one more beautiful than the next. You get to figure out how you want to use all of the rooms because if you book there you have the venue to yourself for the whole day!
Asha was very easy to work with. She helped us figure out the best way to set up the club for our special day/night. Ed and I were looking for more of a cocktail style reception and some other venues said that they did not know how to make that happen. Asha gave us about 5 different options on how this could be achieved right on the spot.
I had previously read some reviews about the food. I tried to go into our tasting without any expectations because I did not want to be disappointed. My highest expectation was blown! The food was GREAT! The crab cakes are some of the best crab cakes I have EVER had!
The venue looked INCREDIBLE! The staff was so helpful and friendly!
I am getting compliments from everyone that was there! If I had to do it again I would do the exact same thing!
I 100% would recommend the Engineer's Club for your venue! You will NOT be disappointed!!!
Hands down, the worst customer service I have EVER experienced in 30+ years. If I could give 0 stars I would. Our first meeting with Krystal was a sign of things to come. She was late, reeked of smoke, and was busy texting another client during the first 10 minutes of our meeting. She then disappeared for 20 minutes leaving my family and me to sit and wait having ignored our request for information to read during her absence. After twenty minutes and asking two staff members to locate her, Krystal returned. Needless to say, it was a bad first impression.
Meeting #2 - Krystal told my fiance and me to arrive at 5pm on a Monday. My fiance took unpaid leave from work in DC to make the trip only to find out the club was closed on Monday evenings.
The drama continues...
Meeting #3 - We had given our budget to Krystal who seemed to ignore our request to work outside of the box to try and stay within our means. Krystal's idea of 'out of the box' was telling us to move our wedding from a Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon since the club could "easily book a party for over $20k on a Saturday". In fact, she emphasized, they would likely be turning people away as our weekend was a popular one. Not what you want to hear as a bride to be.
The last straw - After Krystal made the comment that the Executive Director of the club would have to be contacted to make a decision about our event and how he was likely sitting by his pool and sipping a cocktail so it might take some time to hear back, we were done with the Engineers Club. Not professional. We then reached out to the Executive Director to see if we could salvage our impression of the club. His response to our experience and growing concern was to generously offer to NOT increase the quote we had been given by 10% - a price adjustment scheduled for the following spring.
Not exactly the generosity we were hoping for.
In addition to the sub-standard service and complete lack of professionalism, we were unimpressed with peeling and fading upholstery on the walls, scratches/dents on the chairs, and the peeling vinyl between the bathroom stalls. For the price, we expected a pristine environment, courteous staff, clean rooms, and a general desire to make us happy. We got NONE of the above.
Having visited other facilities of the same caliber who bent over backwards to answer questions and sell their venue, the Engineers Club is lacking in all regard.
Save yourself a migraine headache and go elsewhere.
Our wedding experience at the Engineers Club was absolutely delightful. Krystal and the staff took care of us from start to finish and helped to put on a most classy affair. During the preparation phase, Krystal went out of her way to help keep things within our budget and advise on each and every detail. On the day of the event, Gayle was there at our beck and call to help make the day special and assist with everything. Krystal went beyond the call of duty to help decorate and add little touches to bring everything together. I never had to worry about anything on the day of the wedding - it all went so smoothly. The food was excellent. The venue is a spectacular place to have a wedding. It couldn't be more beautiful. Our guests were blown away. In summary, it was a magical evening - the photos resemble a scene out of the Great Gatsby.
Krystal is amazing have her coordinate your event she is truly amazing
I absolutely loved using ESB for our ceremony and reception. The beautiful part about this venue is that it is so ornate that you barely need any decoration at all! The wood is incredible and each room has its own personality. We got married in the atrium, which created the feel of an outdoor wedding with the safety net of not needing an alternate plan for rain! We decorated the stone arc so it created an "altar".
Our cocktail hour was in the sitting room and the library, and then dinner was in the ballroom with dancing back in the atrium. The whole house flows beautifully, which makes it easy for those who want to sit and watch not feel left out. The staff could not have been more wonderful the night of the wedding, although there were a few things that fell through the cracks in the planning of it in working with the in-house planners, but it all worked out in the end. The food was fantastic - definitely go with the crabcakes. We got so many compliments from our guests! If you love an old world feel, definitely check out ESB.
Choosing the Engineers Club for our wedding was the best decision we made! It's worth every penny!! We had both our ceremony and reception there for about 130 guests. Everything was beautiful and effortless. Krystal Atkinson, our venue coordinator, was like our fairy godmother.
We were looking for a unique venue (not your typical hotel ballroom), something that could accommodate our numbers without being cramped or crowded, and a location near hotels. Those were our priorities during our venue search. The Engineers Club exceeded our expectations!
Their in-house catering is amazing and our food received rave reviews. The waitstaff became part of the family and took care of us. Unlike other venues, they only host ONE wedding per day, so you have the entire venue to yourself from AM to PM. The photos on their website do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous in person and in our wedding photos.
They are on the pricey end, as far as venues in the area go. But I assure you that is it worth going a tad over your budget for this place! This is one case where you get what you pay for and I cannot say anything bad about the Engineers Club.
There was nothing not to love about this venue. The historic and elegant features of this mansion made our wedding a dream. Our wedding surpassed all of our visions - and was truly amazing! You will be surprised that this mansion exists in the City- it's almost a hidden treasure. As soon as you walk through the venue you'll find various rooms all of which are extremely interesting and welcoming. The enclosed courtyard was perfect for us allowing us to have some room and a separate dancing area but also providing an elegant ballroom seated dinner [ in the ballroom] This venue has everything you need- from a bridal suite to an various rooms your guests will be entertained in to a pool table and tv room for your groomsmen. The staff of the Engineers Club are also so accommodating that you'll feel special the moment you walk in! Asha Hislop is the catering manager and she will make this day amazing for you! She is amazing!
