The Englewood is truly the perfect wedding venue - a beautiful refurbished barn, delightful coordinators, and a wide selection of delicious food and local alcohol. While there are ...
multiple packages to pick from, they will work with you to customize every detail of your wedding day to give a personal and intimate feel. The barn has professional sound quality unmatched by any other local venue that will work perfectly for a DJ or live band. The layout is fully customizable and has plenty of space for tables, a large dance floor and options for guests to take a break (upstairs, on the patio or in the private bar/lobby area). I cannot say enough about how accommodating the staff was both during the planning process and last-minute day-of changes. They put you and your guests first and they will do whatever is necessary to ensure your vision comes to life. You will not find a better value in the Central, PA area for a wedding than The Englewood and we will definitely be using them for any events we have in the future! For reference, we had 155 people and hosted our wedding reception at The Englewood.
My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner, we were married and held our reception at The Englewood in May 2024. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, the venue, th...
e food and every single accommodation that was provided to make our day absolutely perfect. We looked at many other venues and even though we had a limited budget, we felt as though we had spent so much more. It was absolutely perfect and they made all our dreams come true!
Would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding/reception at The Englewood! My husband and I had a very small (45 people) wedding ceremony at our church and were looking for a great spa...
ce for our reception afterwards. I didn't want to have to plan every single detail and worry about cleaning up after, etc. The Englewood was exactly what we wanted/needed! Carly was excellent to work with throughout the entire planning process and made everything so smooth. Our guests raved about how friendly the staff were and how beautiful of a space it was! We had some decorations but it didn't need much at all because of how beautiful the venue is.
The food was great and my husband and I were able to do a free tasting to choose what we wanted on our menu. We did the buffet and have no complaints. What made it even better was we were able to take home all of the leftovers! All of the food and cocktail hour appetizers were amazing; we highly recommend the buffalo chicken dip!
Overall, we had a great experience from initially reaching out to wedding day and will forever recommend Carly and The Englewood as a venue for weddings and beyond!
Carly and the other coordinators there didn’t let a single detail fall through the cracks. From timeline, to songs, to menu etc they help make sure you have everything planned and ...
in a timley manner. Most places just simply provide the venue, but they truly provided you with a whole team. They ensure everything went smoothly. They set up and tore down decorations and went above and beyond! They even came up and made sure we never went needing a drink the whole reception. You really get a lot with this venue (as if they venue isn’t beautiful enough by itself!)

lanning to the day of small details they were rock stars and would highly recommend this venue for everyone simply perfect and beautiful.
For a wedding venue, the Englewood was simply phenomenal. They were first and foremost very easy to communicate with. The response time was quick and questions were answered no mat...
ter how many I had. The team was a delight to work with. Carly (the social/wedding coordinator), Jessica (event sales director), and Abby (day of event coordinator) knocked our wedding out of the park. We planned this wedding in two months, but boy did it exceed my expectations. The venue itself is gorgeous, but the service was outstanding. Abby even brought me diet coke during our wedding photos and it was such a sweet gesture I won't forget. So many people worked behind the scenes to have a flawless evening. A few guests were served special meals to accommodate their diet needs hassle free. Bar service was stellar, no complaints from my happily drunk wedding guests. I didn't even have to think because the team at Englewood did it for me. The girls had a schedule, head sets to communicate walking time for the ceremony, getting guests to their seats, introductions. It was all just so smooth. They kept me on track with time without making me feel rushed or me having to look at a clock. They routinely asked if I needed anything. They set up the reception space exactly as I had planned and were open for suggestions and basically made me one happy, carefree bride. I felt like a princess. I would HIGHLY recommend The Englewood and their amazing event team for your next wedding venue!!!
