I am so glad my planner, Yours Truly, introduced me to Clare. It didn’t take long for me to realize not only is she a talented florist, but also just a sweet, compassionate woman. She met with me in person to understand my vision and knew exactly how to make it come to life. I had a hard time explaining what style I wanted or even what flowers I liked, but she calmed all nerves and talked me through everything, including how to best utilize my florals to make the biggest impact. The English Rose is hard to beat and I couldn’t ask for a better florist for my wedding day! I highly recommend!!!

They arrived on time to drop off the flowers and staff was very friendly when helping set up. The set up was beautiful and better than I could’ve ever dreamed of! The only downside is the prices are high, but the quality is also high, so it evens out. I would recommend this company for any future brides and grooms!

Clare was spectacular to work with! She knew just I had in mind after meeting to discuss colors & mood of the wedding. She was so helpful & accommodating while trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic. Clare did an amazing job on our wedding flowers. With only a brief description and a few pictures she was able to take our vision to the next level. She did such an elegant job putting florals on our ceremony arch and all night our guests wanted to take photos in front of it. Our head table was gorgeous, and I loved looking out at our guest tables and seeing the amazing centerpieces. There were several other florals throughout the venue, welcome sign, card box, etc., that really tied everything together and it all looked simply beautiful.

Clare is absolutely amazing! She not only understood my vision and executed it beyond my wildest dreams, but she was the most personable kind person to work with. The flowers were all there and in place on time. They looked beyond stunning! Plus, she was extremely affordable! Clare even called me the week of to go over everything and to let me know one of the flowers hadn't come in to her standards so she asked if she could change them out. I appreciated her taking the time to do that and considered my thoughts before changing without me. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't of even noticed the change so I thought that was super nice. I had met with two other florists in the area and none of them were as kind, affordable, or even as excited to have my business. Plus, who doesn't love working with someone with an English accent?! Could not agree with all of the reviews here more - Clare with The English Rose was absolutely amazing to work with for my daughter's recent wedding!! We ordered a good-sized quantity of flowers and bouquets and then, six weeks out, decided the altar needed some floral bouquets to complement the space. We let her know how much we were willing to add to the budget for those additions and she did not disappoint. They were absolutely STUNNING and added the exact finishing touch to a beautiful wedding!! We HIGHLY recommend! Thank you, Clare!!!

Clare is absolutely amazing! I first met Clare at a bridal show, where she had a beautiful bouquet on display that was exactly my style. My dad and her also bonded over being British and growing up in England. She was very responsive to emails and flexible in scheduling phone calls, which was very important since we were planning long-distance. We provided pictures as inspiration for what our vision was and everything Clare described in our consultation was like she was in my head! During the planning process, I actually had to lower my floral budget and I changed what I wanted my centerpieces to look like. Clare took it in stride and was still able to create exactly what I wanted. A couple of weeks before, I even asked her to make a flower collar for one of my dogs and she was able to add that in last minute. On our wedding day, Clare delivered all the florals, set up everything she could, and left directions on how to keep the remaining flowers fresh until use. Everything she created was breathtaking! I seriously wanted to cry because everything came together perfectly and was everything I wanted. My bouquet was huge and heavy because it had so many flowers in it. Everyone kept saying how gorgeous all of our flowers were. I would recommend Clare to anyone!

Claire is such a doll! Her arrangements are SO PERFECT!! She made some floral pumpkin table settings for my friends wedding and they were so cute that at the end of the wedding the bride and groom had so many requests from their guests, they stood up, took the DJ’s mic and let everyone know that “they could take the floral centerpieces home”!!

Attention to detail is what I describe Clare as. She took the theme of our wedding and the photo we gave her of our centerpieces and she worked within our budget for flowers. Her flower arrangements last for weeks after our wedding!!

The bouquets and arrangements that Clare at The English Rose created for my daughter's wedding were beyond stunning! Clare did a amazing job with the flowers for our wedding! Our first consultation was on the phone since I was out of state and then we met once in Ankeny to go over more specific details. We rented vases and the drop off after the wedding was very efficient and quick. The flowers were gorgeous and made our day extra special!!

We love Clare! She did a fantastic job on our flowers. She was able to offer amazing insight at the initial consultation and steer me in a direction that worked so well for our ambiance while still sticking to the basic vision that I had in my mind. Clare was able to mix shapes and textures in the bouquet and centerpieces to make things visually interesting and beautiful even though I picked almost all white for my flowers. She was so flexible in the delivery schedule even letting us pick up some of the items early for photos. We would recommend her to any and everyone and can't wait to use her again.

Flowers were able to be delivered to venue we were very thankful for that. They turned out very nice. Clare was able to work with us to be able to get the look we wanted and also to keep it with in the budget we had set for flowers. A nice surprise was that day of the wedding we had real flower petals brought as a bonus for the flower girl to throw that matched our wedding colors perfect so that was a nice touch to the wedding.

We chose The English Rose for her balance of quality vs cost. We had 5 bridal party bouquets, 15 boutonnieres/corsages, a toss bouquet, and 2 altar vases and they were just amazing. I am so happy we decided on fresh floral for our wedding. Clare did a spectacular job taking my ideas and inspiration photos and turning them into the most exquisite creations that fit perfectly with the overall look and feel of our day! Clare at the English Rose was wonderful to work with from the start. She is incredibly creative and doesn't always do the traditional wedding flowers which isn't my style. The flowers were one area I was going to scale back on and after finding prices online I had to compare it to one local florist and found out she was the SAME price. She was able to provide me with all kinds of helpful information about different flowers and how they would look together, and was able to show me picture examples. She agreed to put Peonies in my bouquet if they were available, and to my surprise she ended up adding them into centerpeices as well.

Clare was great to work with. She really listened to what I wanted. Never tried to tell me what I wanted :) We chose not to do corsages or boutineres and she never pushed us (like other florists we interviewed). I was working in a budget and that was just fine with her. Gave us a price in our intial interview, which was nice. And she also incorporated my something borrowed. She was great!! Very quick on the email response as well.

Clare is simply amazing. I sent her an email panicking when then bridesmaid dresses came in a different color then they were suppose to. She assured me the flowers we had picked would still work and she was right. The flowers turned out better than I had dared dream.
