I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Envio! From the planning process through the day after our wedding, the entire experience was exceptional. We would choose this venue a thousand times over!
One of the things that initially set The Envio apart was the opportunity to bring four guests to our wedding tasting, allowing us to include both sets of parents. With a parent on each side whose ability to attend our wedding was uncertain, sharing as many wedding moments with them as possible was incredibly important to us. Getting to experience the venue, enjoy the amazing food, and get excited about the celebration together as a family was something we will always treasure and set the tone for everything that followed.
The venue itself is STUNNING. The harbor views are gorgeous, and the transition from onsite ceremony to cocktail hour to reception is seamless, with each part of the celebration feeling like its own beautiful space. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the venue, the incredible food (both the quality and abundance!), and the exceptional service.
A HUGE part of what made our experience so special was Katryn, our wedding Director. She was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. She made planning feel effortless, guiding us through the important decisions while giving us complete confidence that everything else was handled. And it was! We were able to be completely present and enjoy every moment of our wedding.
Our wedding was also a little unique in that several family members were involved in bringing the day together. My sister-in-law helped with decor and setup, and my brother was our DJ. We wanted them to have time to get comfortable in the space and prepare without feeling rushed given their other obligations day of. Because the space was available, the team generously accommodated early access, which made such a difference. They were flexible, welcoming, and genuinely made the venue feel like it was ours for the weekend.
The hospitality was above and beyond. We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite, welcomed with charcuterie, and returned after our wedding to champagne, chicken fingers, and desserts waiting in our room! We genuinely felt like royalty. The beautiful lobby also became a gathering place for our guests, and the team was so welcoming and accommodating as we continued celebrating late into the evening.
And the LOCATION! Downtown Portsmouth is easily walkable, making our welcome party at the Waterview Grill, after-party at Barrio, and exploring the city incredibly convenient for everyone. The entire weekend felt like one continuous celebration.
Looking back, we have ZERO regrets about choosing The Envio. The gorgeous venue, delicious food, thoughtful hospitality, and exceptional team made our wedding weekend everything we dreamed of and more.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue! From the very beginning of the planning process to the very end of our wedding day, Katryn and her entire team were absolutely incredible. They were organized, attentive, and always one step ahead, making the entire planning process feel stress-free. Every detail was handled so seamlessly that we were able to relax and fully enjoy our special day.
The food was absolutely amazing! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. One of the things that meant the most to me happened because of how thoughtful the team was. During one of our very first meetings, I mentioned that I was a very picky eater. I completely forgot about that conversation, but on our wedding day they surprised me with a plate of chicken tenders and fries just for me. It was such a small gesture, but it meant so much that they remembered and went out of their way to make sure I had something I loved to eat on one of the busiest days of my life.
The venue itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who truly make it special. Katryn and her team genuinely care about their couples and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day unforgettable. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for not only a beautiful place to get married, but a team that treats you like family.

fortable and informative Katryn made us feel. The communication from the moment we signed the contract through the 16mos of planning was incredible. Katryn and her staff were so easy to work with. Every question was answered, they made everything so easy to plan up to the very last detail.
That was just the planning part! From the time we arrived for the wedding weekend until we left Katryn and the staff were amazing, they were there front and center making sure we were taken care of or if we needed anything. Every detail was taken care of, down to making sure the wedding gown was hung perfect in the suite. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful to all the guests, making sure the guests were taken care of. Katryn and Sean were even at the front to greet us when the trolley brought us back from the ceremony!
The reception was amazing, the venue was beautiful. The food was spectacular (even a special meal for the bride was made, as it was mentioned in one of the meetings what her favorite meal was) and the wait staff was wonderful. Everyone had an amazing time, and the bride and groom said it was the best day ever, they didn’t want it to end! There is not one negative thing to say. Hands down we would do it all over again at The Envio!

Our guests continue to talk about their own experiences, never mind ours. The communication leading up to the wedding was fantastic and the day of was phenomenal. Anything we needed was done. Anything we forgot to do or needed was remedied instantly. The support, service, organization, food, venue, and attention to detail were all perfection. We could not be happier. The evening was seamless, truly magical, and a dream come true. Katryn and the Envio team clearly know what they are doing. They made us feel like king and queen and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It allowed us to just have fun and cherish the moment. A one stop shop basically that is also priced super fairly considering the prices in the wedding market. credibly helpful and always responsive over email (which helped quell my anxiety as a bride and answer my never-ending questions/concerns!). We really enjoyed the intimate tasting, and appreciated that Katryn was hands on in guiding everyone at the rehearsal. When we pulled up to the hotel the day before our wedding, the staff was ready and waiting to unload all of our decor from the car and took care of all the welcome bags, etc. We didn't have to worry about a thing! Katryn even allowed me and my bridesmaids to get ready in one of the small conference rooms that didn't happen to be booked since I had 8 girls (so our hotel room bathroom wasn't big enough). She also made sure we had a fun signature mocktail since my husband, his parents, and several other family members don't drink alcohol. All of our guests raved about the food, the ambiance, and how attentive staff were throughout the reception. Weddings can be stressful but rest assured that you'll be in GREAT hands here at The Envio! 10/10!

The banquet staff also made sure there was a drink at all times on the sweetheart table and they came to us often to ask if we needed anything which was great! The service and food were excellent. The outside deck is a nice addition. It overlooks the water and was decorated tastefully with lights and furniture.
The location of the Envio is great for exploring Portsmouth as well with a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the water. The hotel was very accommodating to my guests (we booked about forty rooms with no problem, at a discounted rate).
In these days of COVID being a factor to take into account with such a big event, The Envio was very accommodating. Everything from the rooms to the venue were well cleaned. My guests had a wonderful time and were treated with great courtesy.
I cannot speak more highly of the Envio and of Katryn and her team. It was truly beautiful and a day I will cherish forever.

and premium open bar. There are so many ways to customize your day with linens, decor, signature cocktails and lighting that will make your day far from "cookie cutter". The entire hotel is very sleek and modern but the event floor is even more beautiful and also dynamic. Not only do you get a ballroom but you also get a hallway area with couches and an amazing terrace with cafe string lights. Having these various areas for my guests to sit and hangout was perfect, you can dance indoors and then step out to cool down and get some fresh air on the balcony... best of both worlds! I worked with Katryn Treamer, she answered all of my many questions and she made sure every detail came to life, down to making sure I still got to try the appetizers even though I was out taking photos during cocktail hour to helping me bustle my dress before I made my entrance! I would definitely recommend The Envio.

s. One major challenge being we had to move our wedding from Massachusetts to New Hampshire about 3.5 months prior to our wedding due to extremely strict covid policies in MA. We decided to move everything up to NH, where the policies were a bit more lenient. We ended up having 65 guests total, scaled back from 180 due to coronavirus.
As soon as we toured The Envio, we were sold. It is a dream. The space is brand new, and super modern. It is the exact vision I was looking for- super classy, elegant, and just perfect for our formal March wedding. It is also connected to the AC Marriott hotel which was a huge plus for us and easy for our guests! I stayed in the gorgeous Executive Suite which was spacious and large enough to accommodate my huge bridal party for hair and makeup. The cocktail hour pre-function space also has a connecting outdoor terrace which overlooks stunning downtown portsmouth views. :) The ballroom is huge and absolutely stunning!!!! Not to mention the food and cocktails were out of this world good. My family and friends can't stop raving about it!
My experience with Katryn, our event coordinator with The Envio, was phenomenal. We probably exchanged hundreds of emails over the 3.5 months of planning, and she always answered all of my questions in a very timely fashion, always so kind and willing to help me. Even with my silliest of questions/concerns! Katryn, we can't thank you enough- you really saved our wedding!
I could go on and on- look no further than The Envio to hold your wedding. This space is perfect for any season, & any size wedding. I can't think of a more perfect New England destination for a wedding than downtown Portsmouth!

f re-planning everything, including a new venue. I am so blessed because that led me to The Envio. The staff were simply amazing and Katryn was beyond pleasant to work with. She was very kind, professional, and had a level of expertise that made me feel at ease throughout the process. I am so grateful for her! As far as the venue is concerned, I don't have a single negative thing to say. The cocktail space, balcony and ballroom are all beautiful with a clean modern look that got so many compliments. Being part of a hotel (which is also so nice) is a huge plus, they have an awesome restaurant/bar, and you can't beat the location of Portsmouth. I took pictures at the Great Island Common about 10 minutes outside of Portsmouth and that spot is breathtaking (also recommend). Despite the pandemic, there isn't a thing about my wedding day that I would change, and that is in large part to the effort and support of The Envio. I am forever grateful, and will certainly be back soon for a visit!

One thing led to another and we canceled our 1st wedding plans and started over. We chose the Envio and met with Katryn and she was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning! Things were extremely challenging while planning a COVID wedding, but Katryn, the Chef, really everyone truly made it a great experience. We got married on New Years Eve 2020 with our closest family and friends and we had the best day. The space is absolutely stunning and with a little extra effort, added decor, and rented gold chairs, the space was exactly what I had imagined for our special day. It was so warm, elegant, and just stunning! I would absolutely recommend the Envio to anyone looking for an amazing wedding weekend venue! Our family and friends enjoyed their hotel stay, the wedding, and the weekend following! It was so wonderful. They did such a great job working with us and making our vision come true! A very special thank you to Katryn for being so warm, empathetic, helpful, and just amazing the whole process! Also, a special thank you to the chef for creating the perfect entree menu for us and working with us! Katryn was our coordinator for the entire weekend and she was so nice, flexible, and understanding throughout everything! She was phenomenal! After having to move our reception to this location in June for our August wedding, Katryn was outstanding and the whole reception and wedding weekend was even better than we could have imagined! All of our guests had a fantastic time and had nothing but good things to say about their experience at the reception in the Envio Ballroom and at the AC Hotel (where the Envio is located). Not only was the event as a whole great, the food was delicious as well!
