The venue itself is gorgeous with a pre-function space and terrace that was perfect for cocktail hour and a beautiful ceremony and reception space. The food was delicious - we got so many compliments on it! What truly set this even apart, though, was the staff. Katryn was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and communicative. We worked with her throughout the planning process and she was so communicative, organized and accommodating. She was so easy to work with and we felt like she truly wanted to bring our wedding vision to life. On the day of the wedding, her and her staff took care of absolutely everything. The venue looked incredible and the whole day went perfectly! They were so incredibly kind and attentive to us, making sure we had absolutely everything we needed all day. The service and food were excellent. The outside deck is a nice addition. It overlooks the water and was decorated tastefully with lights and furniture. The location of the Envio is great for exploring Portsmouth as well with a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the water. The hotel was very accommodating to my guests (we booked about forty rooms with no problem, at a discounted rate). In these days of COVID being a factor to take into account with such a big event, The Envio was very accommodating. Everything from the rooms to the venue were well cleaned. My guests had a wonderful time and were treated with great courtesy. I cannot speak more highly of the Envio and of Katryn and her team. It was truly beautiful and a day I will cherish forever.

and premium open bar. There are so many ways to customize your day with linens, decor, signature cocktails and lighting that will make your day far from "cookie cutter". The entire hotel is very sleek and modern but the event floor is even more beautiful and also dynamic. Not only do you get a ballroom but you also get a hallway area with couches and an amazing terrace with cafe string lights. Having these various areas for my guests to sit and hangout was perfect, you can dance indoors and then step out to cool down and get some fresh air on the balcony... best of both worlds! I worked with Katryn Treamer, she answered all of my many questions and she made sure every detail came to life, down to making sure I still got to try the appetizers even though I was out taking photos during cocktail hour to helping me bustle my dress before I made my entrance! I would definitely recommend The Envio.

We also loved that they recommended small businesses in the area for florist etc. The cake was included in the package and also done by a small business.

s. One major challenge being we had to move our wedding from Massachusetts to New Hampshire about 3.5 months prior to our wedding due to extremely strict covid policies in MA. We decided to move everything up to NH, where the policies were a bit more lenient. We ended up having 65 guests total, scaled back from 180 due to coronavirus. As soon as we toured The Envio, we were sold. It is a dream. The space is brand new, and super modern. It is the exact vision I was looking for- super classy, elegant, and just perfect for our formal March wedding. It is also connected to the AC Marriott hotel which was a huge plus for us and easy for our guests! I stayed in the gorgeous Executive Suite which was spacious and large enough to accommodate my huge bridal party for hair and makeup. The cocktail hour pre-function space also has a connecting outdoor terrace which overlooks stunning downtown portsmouth views. :) The ballroom is huge and absolutely stunning!!!! Not to mention the food and cocktails were out of this world good. My family and friends can't stop raving about it! My experience with Katryn, our event coordinator with The Envio, was phenomenal. We probably exchanged hundreds of emails over the 3.5 months of planning, and she always answered all of my questions in a very timely fashion, always so kind and willing to help me. Even with my silliest of questions/concerns! Katryn, we can't thank you enough- you really saved our wedding! I could go on and on- look no further than The Envio to hold your wedding. This space is perfect for any season, & any size wedding. I can't think of a more perfect New England destination for a wedding than downtown Portsmouth!

f re-planning everything, including a new venue. I am so blessed because that led me to The Envio. The staff were simply amazing and Katryn was beyond pleasant to work with. She was very kind, professional, and had a level of expertise that made me feel at ease throughout the process. I am so grateful for her! As far as the venue is concerned, I don't have a single negative thing to say. The cocktail space, balcony and ballroom are all beautiful with a clean modern look that got so many compliments. Being part of a hotel (which is also so nice) is a huge plus, they have an awesome restaurant/bar, and you can't beat the location of Portsmouth. I took pictures at the Great Island Common about 10 minutes outside of Portsmouth and that spot is breathtaking (also recommend). Despite the pandemic, there isn't a thing about my wedding day that I would change, and that is in large part to the effort and support of The Envio. I am forever grateful, and will certainly be back soon for a visit!

One thing led to another and we canceled our 1st wedding plans and started over. We chose the Envio and met with Katryn and she was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning! Things were extremely challenging while planning a COVID wedding, but Katryn, the Chef, really everyone truly made it a great experience. We got married on New Years Eve 2020 with our closest family and friends and we had the best day. The space is absolutely stunning and with a little extra effort, added decor, and rented gold chairs, the space was exactly what I had imagined for our special day. It was so warm, elegant, and just stunning! I would absolutely recommend the Envio to anyone looking for an amazing wedding weekend venue! Our family and friends enjoyed their hotel stay, the wedding, and the weekend following! It was so wonderful. They did such a great job working with us and making our vision come true! A very special thank you to Katryn for being so warm, empathetic, helpful, and just amazing the whole process! Also, a special thank you to the chef for creating the perfect entree menu for us and working with us! e Venue we chose for the wedding reception and we could not have been happier with them! Katryn was our coordinator for the entire weekend and she was so nice, flexible, and understanding throughout everything! She was phenomenal! After having to move our reception to this location in June for our August wedding, Katryn was outstanding and the whole reception and wedding weekend was even better than we could have imagined! All of our guests had a fantastic time and had nothing but good things to say about their experience at the reception in the Envio Ballroom and at the AC Hotel (where the Envio is located). Not only was the event as a whole great, the food was delicious as well! We would highly recommend The Envio/ AC Hotel and working with Katryn to anyone looking for a beautiful ballroom/ hotel wedding venue and reception location!
