As a father of the bride, I’d like to give a big thank you to Michael and his staff at Vill Bethesda. He has created a magnificent place. The Villa is most impressive with its 25foot cathedral ceiling, the double 14 foot dinner tables, the golden glowing granite kitchen, along with 9 separate bedrooms!
The golden granite continues throughout the bathrooms, each bedroom has a king size bed and some have bunk beds for children. You are surrounded with artful fixtures and beautiful bedding. There is a game room with a pool table and two video consoles that play just about any arcade game of your youth. Off the second floor is an outside circular staircase leading to a terra cotta covered mezzanine. From there it leads to the top side lounge pool with a 3 foot waterfall to the plunge pool. Next to the double pool is a large patio accompanied by table and chairs and a huge fireplace.

The patio is next to a 2 acre pond with double 25foot water fountains. You can walk down to the pond via a super wide staircase. The house staircase, the pools, the patio and the pond staircase all have super spots for pictures.
From the Villa, there is a 200 foot terra cotta walkway to the Chapel. The Chapel is a work of art. Using an open concept, bare wall, exposed rafter plan that fly’s to the sky with a 35foot ceiling. It seats 92 under the ceiling and has a built in microphone. It features a two step dias that runs the width of the chapel.

The reception area is a double pole, air conditioned enclosed tent. It includes a freezer an ice maker and two bathrooms
It has 10,000 lights that twinkle to any rhythm.
This place is so beautiful during the day but at night is when it goes to another level. There are 15 trees that are wrapped in thousands of lights and there are ground lights all over the place. It’s magical. You have to see it to believe it.
Michael set up the chairs in the chapel and the table and chairs in the reception tent.
We had 110 wedding guests and there was room for more. We also had plenty of parking for the same.
Such a great place for our daughter’s/son in law’s wedding. I’d pick this place to do it again!

The Estate at Villa Bethesda is a private Arkansas destination wedding venue with lodging, located in the Ouachita Mountains near Mena. Purpose-built for wedding weekends, the estate brings your ceremony, reception and accommodations together on one beautiful property—so you and your guests can settle in, celebrate and enjoy the entire experience without traveling between separate locations.
Our Signature Wedding Weekend includes two nights of lodging for up to 34 guests in the Villa, use of our timber-frame chapel, climate-controlled reception space, tables and chairs, and private access to the estate. Rather than limiting your celebration to a few hurried hours, Villa Bethesda gives you time to welcome guests, rehearse, prepare for the wedding, celebrate together and enjoy a relaxed morning afterward.
THE VILLA
The Villa is a luxurious estate home designed to keep the people closest to you together throughout the weekend. It features spacious bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, large indoor and outdoor gathering areas, a game room and luxurious finishes. Guests can also enjoy the private pool, oversized hot tub, pickleball and basketball areas, pond and dock, and outdoor fireplace.
CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
Exchange vows in our distinctive timber-frame chapel, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ouachita Mountains. The chapel can accommodate ceremonies of up to 175 guests and provides a setting that feels both intimate and impressive.
After the ceremony, guests can move directly to the climate-controlled reception space without leaving the property. The reception area features a travertine floor, clear side panels, restrooms and a kitchenette with an ice maker and refrigerator/freezer. Tables and chairs are included, helping simplify planning and setup.
ADDITIONAL LODGING NEARBY
Additional accommodations are available nearby at Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins, which can sleep approximately 120 guests. This allows larger wedding groups to remain close to the estate and enjoy the surrounding area throughout the weekend.
FLEXIBILITY AND PERSONAL ATTENTION
Couples may select their own caterer, photographer, florist, entertainment and other wedding professionals, giving you the freedom to create a celebration that reflects your style and priorities.

I’m Michael Myers, owner of The Estate at Villa Bethesda and Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins near Mena, Arkansas.
My wife, Jessica, and I have spent years building Bethesda into a place where families, couples, and groups can step away from everyday life and spend meaningful time together. Villa Bethesda grew naturally from that vision—a private estate designed to give couples more than just a beautiful place to hold a ceremony. We wanted to create a destination where the people closest to you can stay together, celebrate together, and make an entire weekend part of the wedding experience.
I’m a lifelong entrepreneur, and I’ve always believed that the details matter. From the timber-frame chapel and reception space to the estate home, pool, grounds, and guest accommodations, we’ve worked hard to create something that feels distinctive, comfortable, and genuinely memorable.
One of the things I enjoy most is personally helping couples understand what Villa Bethesda can offer and how the property can fit the wedding they have in mind. My goal is simple: to provide a beautiful setting, flexibility, and the kind of personal attention that makes planning feel easier and the wedding weekend feel truly special.
