Situated on a picturesque New Haven, CT, hilltop, The Estate is a luxury wedding venue for those with the most elegant and discerning taste. When you choose to celebrate your special occasion on these expansive grounds, the whole of The Estate is exclusively yours, from the charming Victorian gazebo near its entrance to the lush vineyard at its edge.
When you enter the mansion at The Estate, you will experience a transformed interior, where contemporary decorative touches sparkle in the light through classic, arched windows, perfectly complementing the structure’s history. Venturing outdoors, you will be greeted by an exterior steeped in the property’s gothic Victorian revival roots—graceful carvings framing gables and soaring columns that further the mansion’s stately appeal. Open year-round, The Estate can host up to 150 guests, provides on-site parking, is fully heated and air-conditioned, and is handicap accessible. Your wedding party is also welcome to use the wedding suites on the day of your event. Suite amenities include showers, dressing rooms, sitting rooms, refreshment stations, a hair and makeup room, and more.
As you plan your event, a staff member will be happy to help you along the way and can provide knowledge on how to best host a gorgeous wedding at The Estate. It is clear that the owners are meticulous about curating a beautiful space. We were planning to have an outdoor ceremony by the vineyard but a rainstorm caused a last-minute pivot to an indoor ceremony in the carriage house- but the team at the venue spruced up the carriage house so nicely the day before, making our own decorations unnecessary.
Ashley, the Director of Special Events, is incredible! Her enthusiasm, efficiency, graciousness, and impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on all her commitments is truly amazing- from our very first point of contact to the night of the event, she impressed us tremendously and we are so grateful.

rived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They were so attentive, kind, and professional, always appearing at just the right moment when we needed something. Whether it was helping us find extra hangers, making sure we had water, or checking that the timeline was running smoothly, they took care of everything with such grace and calm.
The bridal suites were stunning! They are bright, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for all of us to get ready together. It was such a fun, relaxed atmosphere, we spent the morning listening to music, laughing, and getting our hair and makeup done while soaking in the excitement of the day.
And the grounds… absolutely breathtaking. Every corner of The Estate feels picture-perfect, from the beautiful old trees and elegant gardens to the tent setup and the mansion itself. The ceremony area felt so romantic, and the tented reception looked straight out of a magazine once everything was set.
What really stood out was how seamless the day felt. The Estate’s team worked effortlessly with the vendors, coordinated transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and made sure the couple, and all of us, could just enjoy the moment.
