Hiring The Event Chicago as our ‘day of’ coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Lety & Xiomara went ABOVE & BEYOND! Not only did they help with creating the timeline, they executed! The day went so smoothly and perfect. My family and friends kept telling me how much I was glowing and how present stress-free I looked because I truly was! Also, they were prepared for any situation! After my first look/before my ceremony, I had tear streaks running down my cheeks and I was freaking out that I ruined my makeup. They were quick and just so happend to have makeup on deck to make me look and feel my best! That's just one example of what they were equipped with to assist the bridal party. We hired Lety and her team for the "Day of" but really it was a month long experience. As soon as we had out timeline meeting, Lety was hands on with every detail. We could not have asked for a better coordinator. You don't realize how many little things there are to do on your wedding day which is why you need to hire The Event Chicago, because Lety and her team DO KNOW and are more than prepared. Lety and veronica were the dream team! Lety oversaw the whole operation and Veronica practically shadowed the bride for any little thing she might need (holding an umbrella or touching up her lipstick).Veronica even sewed on my jacket button after it popped off midday! They are very responsive with their communication, very professional in their presentation and behavior, and extremely reassuring that they will make the whole day go perfectly. From the moment we hired The Event as day of coordinators for our wedding, they were prompt, responsive, helpful, and most importantly- kind to us. Lety and Veronica were amazing and I can't imagine my wedding day without them! They were so, so, so incredibly helpful and dealt with anything that came their way. I was able to enjoy my big day and not worry about a single thing! From meeting me at the hotel room early to make sure florals would be delivered and dealing with all of the vendors to helping fix my mother in law's dress (I didn't even know about this- apparently, she had a big freak out but they were so amazing and handled it that I had no idea until I was told days later), to setting up and packing up all of my DIY things for the ceremony and reception- they did it all! Lety made the most detailed timeline and was amazing in making it specific to what I wanted and offered me so much advice (which I highly needed because I had no idea what I was doing!). Everyone kept commenting that I was so calm all morning and all day, which I honestly contributed to Lety and Veronica- without them I know I would have had no chill and would have been so worried that things weren't going to go as planned. After we booked our venue, booking a coordinator was our first big decision and one of the most important ones for me as the bride. I cannot say enough great things about Lety and her team. I really don't know how I would have been able to have our wedding without them. The care and thought that goes into everything is incredible. From the start Lety had great communication. The Event Chicago was so amazing. My husband and I had our wedding at the Morton Arboretum in September and booked Event Chicago as day of coordinators. We are so happy we went with them! Lety was available even before the wedding day for phone calls and created a great timeline that met all our needs. She also made herself available to pick up larger decor items and my dresses the night before the wedding. It was so helpful to be able to speak with her before the wedding and made me feel so comfortable with their competence. Our wedding day went off without one hitch and it is in large part because of the incredible work Lety and Veronica did! They were so warm, friendly, and helpful. They really thought of everything from an emergency sewing kit for a bridesmaids dress to a portable fan or face power for unexpected eye makeup smearing. They also handled directing guests and all vendors upon arrival and during the day which really took the stress off of me and my husband. Hands down, the best decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Lety for the day of coordinator services! From the very beginning, when she sent us her brochure of info, we knew she was organized, had an eye for styling, and understood the importance of remembering that it is OUR day, not our guests’ ! She was patient, had amazing suggestions, and was overall there every moment of the day to make sure my partner and I were enjoying ourselves! There was an issue with our party bus being 1.5 hrs late and she problem solved so quickly! Veronica, one of her team members was also there for our special day and we LOVED her! The Event team did a wonderful job on our daughter's Quinceanera this past weekend. Very well organized and extremely professional in the way they interacted with my family, guests and vendors. Thanks to Lety & Veronica I was able to be fully present and enjoy my entire wedding day. I spent over a year planning my wedding on my own so I knew I would need help the day of. Hiring them as my day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I wanted my mom and bridesmaids to enjoy the day with me as well so it was such a relief to know I had someone dedicated to helping me all day. While everyone was putting their dresses on, Lety was there to help me put on mine. She left a few buttons undone so my mom can finish with the photographer. While I took photos, Lety made sure to take all the ceremony items with her, placed my overnight bag on the party bus, and even locked the doors to my house. When we got to the church, she made sure everything was where it needed to be and helped make sure my now husband didn't see me when I walked into the church. Veronica was alongside her making sure we had everything in place for the ceremony. At the reception, Veronica made sure everything setup perfectly and checked on me throughout the evening. She facilitated the dollar dance, placed all of our receptions items including some flowers into our bridal suite, and kept us on track with our timeline. My wedding day was perfect and I am so happy I was able to enjoy it with the help of these women.

The Event helped us plan our destination event in Paris, France this year and it turned out perfect! From day one, Lety was hands on with every detail, big and small, making sure that all would lead to a beautiful and successful event. My husband and I were very impressed with her ability to maneuver all negotiations with our vendors despite the distance and language barriers given that our event was international. She saved us so much time and effort by handling all communication and sorting of terms/conditions with all vendors which in turn made planning our event more enjoyable because we could focus on the fun stuff! We hired the ladies from The Event for our day of coordinator for our wedding. We knew from 2 years prior we had to have them be part of our special day. Besides being affordable and flexible with payment, Lety was professional, warm, friendly, organized and such a leader. Everything we needed to make sure our day went as planned as possible. She shared her thoughts, provided feedback, took charge but also reminded us it was our day and in the end we had to be happy.
