She saved us so much time and effort by handling all communication and sorting of terms/conditions with all vendors which in turn made planning our event more enjoyable because we could focus on the fun stuff! Additionally, we appreciated how much The Event looks out for their client's best interests. Lety and her team are very deliberate about keeping things fair and clear. If something doesn't add up or seem right, Lety is quick to let you know. That made us feel like we were in good hands and trust her advice throughout the entire process. Communication is also excellent! I always received a prompt response. Lety and her team are super professional and reliable. I can go on and on describing all the reasons why The Event is the best event planning company in the Chicagoland area (and beyond!) but I will end with this: If I had to go back, I would choose The Event a million times! I cannot imagine anyone else besides Lety to be able to handle such a large scale event like ours. If she can successfully plan an event from thousands of miles away with different components coming in from different countries around the world, then she and her team can do anything!! ns I have ever made. I wanted my mom and bridesmaids to enjoy the day with me as well so it was such a relief to know I had someone dedicated to helping me all day. While everyone was putting their dresses on, Lety was there to help me put on mine. She left a few buttons undone so my mom can finish with the photographer. While I took photos, Lety made sure to take all the ceremony items with her, placed my overnight bag on the party bus, and even locked the doors to my house. When we got to the church, she made sure everything was where it needed to be and helped make sure my now husband didn't see me when I walked into the church. Veronica was alongside her making sure we had everything in place for the ceremony. At the reception, Veronica made sure everything setup perfectly and checked on me throughout the evening. She facilitated the dollar dance, placed all of our receptions items including some flowers into our bridal suite, and kept us on track with our timeline. My wedding day was perfect and I am so happy I was able to enjoy it with the help of these women.

They were quick to think on their feet when challenged with last minute questions and issues and helped our day run smoothly. In addition to day of services, the Event also offers a variety of event planning services. I definitely plan to work with Lety and the Event in the future.

She shared her thoughts, provided feedback, took charge but also reminded us it was our day and in the end we had to be happy. Lety and her team provided our timeline and forwarded that to all our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. On the day of, her team were there for anything I needed. Examples include keeping us all on schedule, getting the bridal party organized, carrying payments and tips for vendors, holding my phone/keys, touching up my hair in the bridal suite after getting caught in rain, helping me switch into more comfortable shoes, keeping all gifts and cards safe, storing our centerpieces and big decorative pieces for easy clean up at the end of the party. I mean, anything you can think they did and were always one step ahead. I didn't know what a day of coordinator was and what they did and now that I do, I'm so glad they were there. All the stress was gone and the day just seemed easy. Thank you again Lety and big big thanks to your team. I would definitely recommend. Book them! You'll be glad you did.
