The Event Chicago

Words can’t even begin to describe how amazing The Event Chicago was. My wedding would not have been possible without them. From set up to tear down, they did it ALL. My bustle broke on my dress right after cocktail hour and the team had everything you could think of to fix it (sewing kit, fabric gun, safety pins etc). They were so attentive and truly made me feel so comfortable and allowed me to relax on my wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough!! 

If you don’t think you need a day-of coordinator, YOU DO!! Hiring Lety was the best thing we did during our wedding planning process. We worked closely with her to help plan our timeline for the day. She communicated with all of vendors and answered our questions all throughout our wedding planning process.  On the day of, Lety and Jacqueline made sure that everything was running on schedule and that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Because of Lety and Jacqueline, we were able to truly relax and enjoy the day with our friends and family. Everything went flawlessly, and it was such a relief knowing we were in such capable hands. Working with The Event Chicago, Lety, & Veronica was truly a pleasure! We did the partial planning package, and honestly looking back I would have just done the full service. Lety was always professional, organized, detailed, and reassuring; everything you need during the rollercoaster of emotions one goes through during wedding planning. All of the vendors she found for us were incredible to work with also! There were times where we felt super anxious, frustrated, and unsure of everything, but whenever we'd talk to Lety or any of our vendors, we'd come out of the meetings feeling 10x better. I truly don't think without her and her experience, our wedding would have been what it been. The day itself was seamless and her and Veronica did not let me lift a finger! They were attentive and always one step ahead and they are always within your peripheral so if I ever needed her, she was right there. We got so many compliments from our friends and family about them too. The only sad part is with the wedding over, so are our communications! I can't recommend them enough to future couples.

Leading up to our special day Lety was so helpful in creating a timeline and getting organized. I had no idea where to start and she made it very easy. I had tons of questions and she was always responsive with each one. On the day of everything went smooth and perfect. I found Lety (and Veronica) through a friend who used their services for her wedding and I can definitely see why she came recommended. Lety and her team were very organized, professional, and I never felt like she was too busy for my event. This wasn’t just a day of coordination - we had timeline meetings and constant communication about our expectations. From the rehearsal to the wedding day, Lety was present and on top of everything. Letty and Veronica made sure we stayed on time, made recommendations throughout the day that made better sense. They directed the crowed to the places they were suppose to be. I absolutely LOVED working with The Event Chicago! Lety was amazing during our planning call. Hiring The Event Chicago as our ‘day of’ coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Lety & Xiomara went ABOVE & BEYOND! Not only did they help with creating the timeline, they executed! The day went so smoothly and perfect. My family and friends kept telling me how much I was glowing and how present stress-free I looked because I truly was! Also, they were prepared for any situation! After my first look/before my ceremony, I had tear streaks running down my cheeks and I was freaking out that I ruined my makeup. They were quick and just so happend to have makeup on deck to make me look and feel my best! That's just one example of what they were equipped with to assist the bridal party. We hired Lety and her team for the "Day of" but really it was a month long experience. As soon as we had out timeline meeting, Lety was hands on with every detail. Lety and Veronica were amazing and I can't imagine my wedding day without them! They were so, so, so incredibly helpful and dealt with anything that came their way. I was able to enjoy my big day and not worry about a single thing! From meeting me at the hotel room early to make sure florals would be delivered and dealing with all of the vendors to helping fix my mother in law's dress (I didn't even know about this- apparently, she had a big freak out but they were so amazing and handled it that I had no idea until I was told days later), to setting up and packing up all of my DIY things for the ceremony and reception- they did it all! Lety made the most detailed timeline and was amazing in making it specific to what I wanted and offered me so much advice (which I highly needed because I had no idea what I was doing!). Everyone kept commenting that I was so calm all morning and all day, which I honestly contributed to Lety and Veronica- without them I know I would have had no chill and would have been so worried that things weren't going to go as planned. They were absolutely amazing and I can't recommend them enough!

After we booked our venue, booking a coordinator was our first big decision and one of the most important ones for me as the bride. I cannot say enough great things about Lety and her team. I really don't know how I would have been able to have our wedding without them. The care and thought that goes into everything is incredible. From the start Lety had great communication. The Event Chicago was so amazing. My husband and I had our wedding at the Morton Arboretum in September and booked Event Chicago as day of coordinators. We are so happy we went with them! Lety was available even before the wedding day for phone calls and created a great timeline that met all our needs. She also made herself available to pick up larger decor items and my dresses the night before the wedding. It was so helpful to be able to speak with her before the wedding and made me feel so comfortable with their competence. Our wedding day went off without one hitch and it is in large part because of the incredible work Lety and Veronica did! They were so warm, friendly, and helpful. They really thought of everything from an emergency sewing kit for a bridesmaids dress to a portable fan or face power for unexpected eye makeup smearing.
