Melisa is incredibly diligent, made the entire wedding planning process seamless, and handled every issue that arose on the day of the event with complete composure. as calming yet uplifting vibes-- her confidence, expertise, professionalism, and good heart made us feel well-cared for throughout the entire process. She not only saved us, she made it a joyful experience with her easy going "I got you" attitude and smile. I'm a type-A personality, control freak, juggling so much between work, life, family. Things were getting complicated as we were planning a destination wedding in Europe and a wedding banquet locally for those who were unable to attend Portugal, which was turning out to be a second wedding reception! Overwhelmed with the logistical details, a difficult reception hall manager, and last minute decor, menu, favors, day of logistics, out of town guests, she jumped in and took over like a true professional, therapist, best friend, and talented designer. She is such a good listener, intuitive, and so smart in helping to bring a vision to life- we wanted to keep our event intimate yet fabulous. She was excellent in understanding the cultural nuances of blending families from different backgrounds, beautiful touches to honor cultural traditions while keeping a fresh modern feel. Melisa leaves no detail untouched as she walks through moment by moment the entire wedding experience from the guest perspective and of course the couple's and their families. She is there the day of completely hands on to execute your plan to the tee, is flexible to allow things to happen organically, and is trouble-shooting in the background so you can just fully enjoy your day and guests. Overall, working with Melisa took away all the stress as she held our hands every step of the way, constantly communicated with us in real time, and made us feel everything was going to be ok-- more than ok-- she made everything simply wonderful and easy breezy. We can't thank Melisa enough for all she did for our family and being so patient with our last minute changes!

Thanks to her incredible negotiation skills, we ended up securing an even better venue at the same price & one we loved even more than our original choice, 48 Wall Street. Throughout the planning process, Melisa guided us every step of the way, making decisions feel easy and manageable.

Melisa navigated our challenging request for a Kosher-catered kids’ party combined with an Abigail Kirsch-catered adult party. She was able to attend to these dietary needs with ease and sensitivity so that everyone felt accommodated. She also helped us figure out the event timing while respecting our Orthodox guests’ needs around Shabbat.
Melisa only recommends well-vetted vendors and was able to introduce us to several at different price points to meet our budget. We loved all her vendors and were impressed by their professionalism and coordination.
Melisa speaks fluent teen-ease. She knows all the latest trends for swags, games and decor, and was also able to tell us where we could save and where we should splurge.
When Melisa broke her ankle a week before our event, I was worried. But she fully delivered—on wheels! In a scooter, she still managed to make sure every detail of our event went smoothly and on time. I expected there to be mistakes, but honestly, every element of the party was perfect. She coordinated the day-of timing beautifully and made sure I remembered to pack all the little items. Our family was truly able to be present at our party and enjoy our guests. Most importantly, our daughter felt loved and special because of a perfectly planned Mitzvah.

Melisa is extremely organized/detail-oriented, hard working and fantastic at problem solving. She thinks of and prepares for everything, has a very strong network of vendor partners, and deeply vets all vendors and services to ensure that every aspect of her events are executed to the highest quality possible. She never stopped working until she knew we were 100% happy with the full picture - her tenacity is so impressive!
Melisa is also a great listener, flexible, and honest. She is the perfect balance when it comes to wedding planning - leaning more heavily into areas where we needed guidance and creative inspiration, and focusing more on (exceptional) execution in areas where we had solid vision/ideas. And, she never let us make a bad decision! We really appreciated her transparency in telling us if an idea we had was not going to work, not worth the cost, etc.
In terms of day-of coordination, Melisa ran our wedding day flawlessly - she is an expert with logistics, and has a confident and calming aura that puts everyone at ease. Throwing a black tie wedding for 200+ people feels easy when Melisa is working her magic. Her events speak for themselves.
We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out, and Melisa was just such a pleasure to work with overall. Anybody would be lucky to have Melisa as their wedding planner (or as a planner for any other event). She is the BEST! We’re genuinely going to miss working with her.

anizer, making sure that we’re getting the best service at the best price from all of the vendors, and then coordinating their activity. (2) She’s a magical problem-solver, seeming to have found and implemented solutions before we even realized there was problem. From small hiccups (like, the cake delivery van being rear-ended just before reaching our site) to bigger hurdles (like, NYC inspectors shutting down a site just weeks before the event, or a pandemic requiring constant re-thinking of every aspect of a party)… she handles it all; it’s astounding. (3) As importantly, Melisa really listens to how our daughter and we describe hopes for the day, thinks about what we’re “really” saying (even if we don’t realize), and develops a vision that realizes all of that with so much more creativity than we could possibly bring to this ourselves. She’s essential; having her involved allow us to enjoy the day and the time leading up to it, without the headaches and hassles, with the confidence that any unexpected trouble will be resolved, and with memories of an event that will last a lifetime. We couldn’t be more enthusiastic or grateful.
