Tammy is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She was so awesome to work with to cater my wedding. Our guests especially raved about our passed appetizers: the fried green tomato BLT sliders and the coconut shrimp lollipops. Come hungry to your tasting... you’ll leave full!! Tammy and her team of rockstars are incredible to work with! We hired her for “month-of” coordination so she technically didn’t take over until then, but she was very easy to get a hold of and willing to answer all my questions way before we even got to that point. She is very consultative in her process and truly takes into account your input of how you’d like things to be, and gives you her expert advice on each detail. The timeline she put together was down to the minute so that everything flowed seamlessly. She even had to run to my parents house to get the garter I had left - talk about going above and beyond! She and her team will make your wedding day perfect! Thanks Tammy!!!

Tammy was extremely helpful in the planning process, providing us with many options and suggestions based on experience. She was also very responsive via email and answered all of our questions! We went with a plated dinner as our venue and wedding size did not provide much room for a buffet. The cocktail hour was seamless and we received many compliments from guests on how delicious the food was (especially the crab cakes!) There were some issues with the timing of the dinner (some tables were served full meals prior to other tables receiving appetizers) and some issues with the chicken being fully cooked and meals not being served hot. This was communicated to Tammy and she immediately removed plates from any guests who had been served the under cooked chicken. Tammy reached out to me after the wedding, apologized and offered a partial refund. She also mentioned this was the first time something like this has ever happened, which I do believe based on her other reviews. Tammy sent us a check for nearly half of the amount we paid (the cost of dinner per person x the amount of guests). She was very apologetic and made things right with us. I think with the combination of the weather being unexpectedly cold and a plated dinner (most people do buffets), the chef and staff were in an environment they weren't used to. I am hoping they learned from their mistakes and it will not be an issue for future events. I would recommend her as a caterer based off of previous reviews I have read and personal testimony I have heard from others, as well as her willingness to give us a partial refund and make things right.

Thank you to Tammy and her wonderful team for making our food a huge hit at our wedding. We heard from so many guests that they loved our food. We loved it too! Tons of great seafood, appetizers, prime rib, etc. We truly enjoyed working with Tammy. Our tasting was a blast and we loved that we could have various stations spread out across the venue instead of having one long buffet line. Her catering menu is huge so we had a ton of items to choose from. It was easy to make changes with her and I knew I could count on her team the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend The Eventful Planner for ANY event....they are super duper awesome...thank you!!!!

After my husband and I were engaged, I thought I could handle the wedding planning. This task turned out to be WAY too much for an out of state bride. We live in Arkansas and wanted a destination wedding in Destin, FL. After finding myself stressed out, I did some research and found Tammy with The Eventful Planner. From the very beginning through our big day, she was so hands on and available to help with all aspects of our wedding planning. It was so nice to have someone local in Destin, FL to make everything happen and keep us organized. She is great about putting the Bride and Groom's wishes first. Sometimes it gets overwhelming with all of the options and ideas that are presented to you but Tammy was there to guide us in the right direction at every turn. She took the time to learn our wants and styles to make sure we got what we wanted. We had a beautiful wedding and we owe much thanks to her for supporting us through every decision.

The Eventful Planner catered my wedding and I would definitely recommend using them! Tammy was so so helpful with answering many many emails since I do not live locally! She had great suggestions and was great to work with. The staff was great at the event and even ran to get a few ingredients for cocktail at the store when I had forgotten them. Great service and good food.

We heard and read so many great things about the catering service provided by The Eventful Planner, so my husband and I chose them to cater our wedding. Tammy was great right of the bat- knowledgable and sweet. It was obvious she had done this many times before, and that gave us a lot of comfort. We were planning in a busy season, so any delays in responses were totally understood. The Eventful Planner provided us with any extras we needed. There was some miscommunication about a couple details (brides notice every detail because we plan this our entire lives, just about). There was a change in the food and drinks that I wasn't informed about. And, our guests mentioned not having enough silverware. So, those details were missed. Overall it was professional and done well.

Tammy is incredible! She was recommended to me by a coworker and I am SO grateful that I found her. I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner since I'm pretty crafty and a bit of a control freak, so I knew I could do it myself, but ultimately decided to hire one just to "help". Now I don't know how I ever would have done it without her. She made our absolute dream wedding a reality. And I didn't have to lift a finger. On the wedding day (really the entire wedding week) I never had to think about one vendor or waste one minute stressing about if things were going well at the venue. I literally didn't even see the venue on our wedding day until I was walking down the isle and everything had been completed and more to make our day a dream come true. Her vendor recommendations were spot on every single time. And we used her for catering as well and seven months later guests are still talking about the food at our wedding. Look no further, you've found your planner and you should never look back!

It is not an exaggeration to say that having good food at our wedding was at the top of our “wedding wants” list. We were having a destination wedding and finding food that would please us and our guests – all of whom are serious eaters – was an area of concern for us…right up until we had our tasting with The Eventful Planner. After our menu tasting, we knew that if nothing else went well, the food would be fantastic! But in reality, we were wrong. The food – and the service and the servers – were so far beyond fantastic! We cannot find words to sufficiently describe just how delectable, delicious, scrumptious, amazing the food was for our cocktail hour and reception! And the entire staff was wonderful! We felt blessed to have each of them present for the entire time they were with us. We cannot thank Tammy and everyone at The Eventful Planner enough for their contributions to our special day.

Where do I begin to brag about Tammy and Stephanie with The Eventful Planner? We hired them as a "day of coordinator" which was the absolute perfect package for me. They offer complete wedding planning packages but, I wanted to plan every single detail of our destination wedding myself and only needed someone to see my vision through on the big day. I couldn't have been more impressed with these ladies and their team. They were prompt in their responses by email and phone and coordinated with every vendor about two weeks before our wedding to make sure everything was in place. Tammy and Stephanie came out to the rehearsal with big smiles, looked around and staged the reception site, and then led us to the beach where they seamlessly walked through the details of the ceremony taking notes and agreeing to every change I desired. I wanted to move the bridal party to the traditional groom side and with a big smile, these ladies made it happen. They herded our wedding party with ease, which was quite the feat totaling 23 with the bride and groom!!! Their wonderful attitudes and confidence that the entire event would be perfect made me feel completely at ease. The day of the wedding, Stephanie arrived early and spent some time with me, taking directions on where I wanted decorations to go. Every response was a nod and a smile which was so refreshing. I expected some resistance on at least ONE of my ideas but, she never had a problem. In the end, with the help of her team, Stephanie brought my vision to life...all while I relaxed and got ready. She received every vendor as they arrived and coordinated where each person needed to be. She was awaiting the bridal party at the beach and led us to the aisle. When I was all nerves, she gave me a big smile, told me I looked beautiful, and reminded me to enjoy myself. During the reception, Stephanie and her team basically waited on us hand and foot. They made sure we had food, even saving and bringing me a plate of appetizers from the cocktail hour, and casually checked in with us to see how we were or when something needed to be discussed. Anytime I needed something, Stephanie was easy to find and accommodated each request. They went above and beyond to clean up a broken vase and help pack up the decorations at the end of the evening. Between their wonderful attitudes, professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility, and general experience and knowledge, The Eventful Planner completely exceeded our expectations. I don't know how we could have done it without them! THANK YOU Ladies!

The food was just like we always wanted it and so delicious! Or guests loved every bite and so did we! Our food was anything but ordinary wedding-food! It was amazing!

My husband and I used the Eventful planner for catering, food service, and bartenders. They were absolutely wonderful. Tammy knew we were on a budget and worked with us to create a menu that we could afford. I told her the maximum about that we could spend and she was able to create a menu with 2 passed appetizers, 2 meal choices, vegetables, a salad, and a mashed potato martini bar (which the guests LOVED). Her staff was extremely professional the entire night; they created a casual, yet classy atmosphere. Lots of guests ranted and raved about them. I would totally recommend them!

My husband and I had a destination wedding and we were nervous about choosing our vendors from a different state. After browsing many reviews and websites, we chose Tammy from The Eventful Planner to cater and provide "day of" planning for our wedding. My husband is very particular and likes good food so he had many questions leading for the caterer leading up to our big day. During a couple phone conversations, my husband felt that Tammy was distracted and rushed. However, despite our intial concern that she may not have given us her full attention, when our day came, we realized that she had paid attention to EVERY detail. The food, from appetizers to deserts and everything in between, was the best I have had any catered event. Everything was fresh, creative, and delicious! Best of all, it was VERY resonably priced. Tammy also turned out to be our hero on the day of the wedding. All day, she was running around making sure everything ran smoothly. The entire day was flawless because of her impeccible planning. I used the Eventful planner as my wedding coodinator and for catering. Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful in advice and meetings!!

The food was great! The girls were great...we had a bartender, server and chef. My only complaint is that the male server had a ponytail...not to be picky..I just prefer a more clean look for my wedding. No complaints other than that. The bartender was extremely friendly :)

Tammy from The Eventful Planner was excellent!! She made planning my wedding at the coast possible while living in Atlanta. Our wedding was for 100 people based at a rental house in Santa Rosa Beach - so we had to create the entire weekend of events from scratch. Tammy had great suggestions, connections and advice. She kept us on track and followed up with our vendors and the schedule. She handled things I didn't even know I was supposed to worry about!! I truly didn't have a thing that didn't go as planned - and we really believe it was because of Tammy. The meals that she catered for us were wonderful and our family and friends loved the food. She was amazing!! I would recommend her to anyone.

I wish I had them to give to them! Everyone ranted and raved about the food and especially loved the fried green tomato blt's that were served as an appetizer. We had 3 apps, and 2 menu options, pastas, salads, vegetarian food etc and there was not one complaint. The even somehow kept the food warm and we had a tented beach reception! The staff was extremely pleasant and professional and did a fantastic job serving the guests! The groom and I wish we had more time to try everything, but we were so busy!!

Tammy was a great help to us since we were from out of town getting married in Destin. She helped set up the various vendors (who all were wonderful). She was a tremendous help. The only negative thing was that I received a few complaints that at the ceremony and reception she was a little snappy towards the guests. However I believe she just let one of her employees go due to the economy, so she was probably running around like crazy. And sometimes wedding planners have to be the "bad people" and keep everyone moving along.
