But I truly knew that hiring her as a coordinator was the best choice I could’ve made was an hour before our ceremony. It was then that I learned that our venue had never tested our agreed upon floor plan, which turned out to be a complete chaos. With no time to spare, Felicia redesigned the layout, ensuring everything was not just in place but looked absolutely stunning.
I’m usually hesitant to trust others with big decisions, but Felicia understood and executed my vision flawlessly despite having so little time to learn about my preferences. As the venue was non-inclusive, and most of the wedding was planned by myself and my husband, you can imagine how important it was for me that every detail should be attended to. Christina was extremely patient throughout this entire journey and she absolutely killed it the day of with my endless list of things to do. Now that I’ve planned my own wedding, I’ve come to realize that being an event coordinator is not an easy job. It comes with a lot of unforeseen circumstances, last minute stressors, logistical nightmares, and I truly don’t know how Christina does it. that was supposed to take place on June 13, 2020. Christina did not skip a beat when we found out we could not have our wedding. We only hired her for Month of and she and her team jumped in to help move all our vendors, go back and forth with our venue, and more importantly lift my spirits.
She also helped us plan a Mini-moni on our original date. We did a Zoom with almost 100 guests in attendance. We were glad to have kept some semblance of what we originally planned. She also helped us get our marriage license as its not that easy right now. When I say she knows people who knows people I am not kidding! She has a person for everything! We cannot thank Christina and Taneel and Cory enough for everything they have done for us thus far. We cannot wait for our reception next year when we get to celebrate with all our family and friends. Thank you thank you!! Hire The Events Boutique, you will so glad you did!

Will NOT recommend The Events Boutique to any of my family or friends. We hired Christina for "day of coordinator" for our 70 person wedding...

I have held off from posting this review in hopes she would have some consideration and reach out to me regarding my deposit but SHE HAS NOT and just kept my money!!! I'm not going to feel bad for posting this during the pandemic because she has blamed me for canceling my wedding and feels entitled to keep my deposit. This is NOT the type of person you want in charge of such an important day in your life!! Especially after you pay so much for your wedding day!!
My wedding was cancelled due to covid (Shutters is closed through June) and when we found out (in March, 2 months before my actual wedding) I immediately contacted Christina to inform her the venue canceled our wedding and that I wanted to discuss my deposit because my fiancé and I do not have a postponed date due to the uncertainty of the virus and government mandated restrictions on large events. Her response was "it is non refundable and none of her other couples were asking about their deposit so she didn't know why I was and that I can use that deposit towards my future wedding date."
After many weeks of negotiating with her, she only agreed to give me half of my deposit back because she claims to have spent some of my deposit on the 2 assistants she hired for my 70 person wedding that never happened! I asked her to show me proof of money spent on my wedding to date and she completely ignored my requests, multiple times. She only agreed to give me half of my deposit only after I sign her gag order. I told her I felt uncomfortable signing her document and she informed me that was the only way I could receive my partial refund!
I feel it's extremely unfair that she's holding my deposit hostage and refuses to give me proof of money spent on my wedding. Christina says I cancelled my wedding, even though the venue did because it would be closed due to the pandemic and because I won't choose a future date, She does not need to give me back my deposit. I did not have anything to do with the Covid virus and because I cannot pick a future date for our wedding, she is refusing to give me my deposit back.
All I was looking for was some kind of compassion from her but instead I was treated like I canceled my wedding so I don't deserve my money back...I had nothing to do with the venue being closed due to the pandemic...Why would I ever hire her to coordinate my wedding after she handled the situation like this?!?

mediately felt comfortable with Christina's personality and knowledge. She listened to all of our requests and provided very useful recommendations. For example, one recommendation she offered us was to have my husband and I eat dinner in the bridal suite right before our grand entrance. This allowed us to enjoy our dinner and get food in our stomachs, since she knew that we wouldn't have the chance to eat later on. More importantly, Christina and her team are all very punctual and accurate with the wedding timeline. Everything went to plan and all of our friends and family couldn't believe how smooth our wedding went! Another compliment came from our DJ, who said that she was the best coordinator he has ever worked with and that their communication was top notch. The Events Boutique staff all had head sets to communicate with one another so there wasn't any miscommunication. Overall, we could not have had a better wedding coordinator than Christina and her assistants at The Events Boutique! They helped make our big day seamless and stress free, it was the best day ever and it wouldn't have been the same with out them. I highly recommend using Christina and The Events Boutique as a wedding coordinator.

enue and Christina was the first planner we met; almost immediately we knew our search for a venue and planner was done. Christina was so sweet and eager to make our day special even before she knew we planned to hire her.
We booked Christina for her “month-of” services but when I had questions months before the wedding, she didn’t hesitate to help. Though my husband may disagree, I like to think I was a chill bride but even the chillest of brides has a planner full of questions from how to get elderly guests to a faraway bathroom to how much water I needed to buy for a hot-summer wedding. Christina promptly answered every question and every time I spoke with her I felt like planning a wedding wouldn’t kill me after all. She had so many cost-saving tips that helped us have a gorgeous, budget-friendly wedding our friends and family are still talking about.
On the day of, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and Christina and the Events Boutique team ran their operation like seasoned pros. They are professional and fun! If you want to turn your Pinterest board into an unforgettable and stress-free wedding, hire Events Boutique!

from across the country, so it was a huge logistical lift. We absolutely couldn't have done it without her.
She knows a ton of vendors in the LA area that she connected us with, and all of her the people she recommended were amazing. And I don't just mean catering and florals.... when we asked her if it would be possible to have churros at our rehearsal dinner, she immediately responded, "Of course, I'll call my churro guy!" He made fresh, amazing churros and ended up being the hit of the night.
But she also never pressured us to use the folks she knew, and was happy to work with new vendors as well -- even when they stopped answered her calls and emails and she had to drive in person across LA multiple times to get contracts signed!
She's amazing at dealing with problems. Since we were getting married in LA in September, we had no rain plan -- and when the forecast suddenly predicted rain three days before our wedding, she managed to get us a tent and plan an entirely new layout for our venue in a matter of days without breaking a sweat.
And just as importantly, she does it all with a smile on her face. She's so laid back, cheerful and funny -- truly the person you want on the other end of the phone line when you're feeling overwhelmed with wedding planning anxiety.
Her team is also amazing -- on our wedding day, they were absolutely professional, great at their jobs, and just lovely people.

planning package and decided to use the least expensive one - BIG mistake! I learned you really get what you pay for with wedding planning and that experience is everything! I finally had to let my first planner go and got on board with Christina in February which was the best decision i made in my wedding planning process! I immediately felt at ease with Christina and knew she was going to help my wedding vision come alive.
By the time I had confirmed her, I had booked nearly all my vendors so unfortunately missed out on taking advantage of her deep network of vendors. So, if you are thinking of booking The Events Boutique, I recommend confirming early in the process so you can maximize all the perks of a well connected planner!
Christina knows someone for everything and although I didn’t book any additional vendors, she knew exactly who could get the job done for anything I wanted - even hand painted programs I showed her from an article in a wedding magazine! How amazing is she!
Even though I booked her for the “month of,” she was available via phone, text and email for my many questions and was a great resource! Invaluable actually. You can read as much as you want in books (I certainly did!), but to have a great planner at your fingertips for advice is priceless! My only regret is not booking Christina early! We met for an initial planning session so we could review my vision and Pinterest pages about 2 months out. She also came with me to my final florist meeting and my final venue walk through which was very helpful and made me feel extra confident in all my planning decisions.
As an experienced planner, she has great organizational skills and worked meticulously on the wedding day timeline with me. I had some curveballs and she handled them so well. I knew that if anything were to go wrong on the wedding day, that Christina would take care of it effortlessly and that’s the feeling you want to have on your wedding day!!! That allowed me to focus (and worry!) about my first dance and personal vows instead of the coordination details. I felt so calm on my wedding day, even with a screaming flower girl and a sick and crying ring bearer. It all flowed because I was in good hands :) Do yourself a favor and book Christina...you’ll wish you did it earlier- She is a beautiful person and has a personality that automatically puts a smile on your face! I wish I had more weddings to plan just so I could work with her again!!

We were having it at my family's 100 year-old ranch on the High Desert, which used to be a guest ranch and something of an event space, but it has been decades since it has really been functioning that way. Additionally, my (now) husband and I live in the Midwest, and my parents in the Southeast...so we were planning remotely. So, we needed someone who could come in and see the natural beauty, charm and potential of our ranch and turn it into a venue befitting of a modern couple with high standards. We needed someone who could help us budget, connect with and hire vendors in Southern California; and execute this event in a way that would be memorable for us and our family (and "worth the trip" for all of our guests, 95% of whom were flying in from all over the country). From the very beginning when Christina came out to the Ranch and walked the property with us, we could tell she totally "got it." She saw its potential as an event space, and she thought of ways to accentuate its existing character and utilize the many treasures we have there. She helped us achieve our goal of creating an event that was reflective of my husband and me, but also authentic to our family's special place. Christina was also the reason I was able to enjoy my wedding planning process (of a whole year) without getting too stressed and overwhelmed. At every turn, she was there to offer me advice, support, and assistance (as much as I like to think I'm easy to work with, I know I texted her too much!) and I found her whole vibe so positive and reassuring that nothing seemed like that big of a deal! The budget guidance she provided was so helpful, and she helped us keep to it. She even ended up as our florist in the end, creating gorgeous flower arrangements that fit my vision in a budget-friendly way. Christina went above and beyond for my family and me all year in planning our ranch wedding, and the end result was the most magical day that none of us will ever forget. Now I just have to come to terms with the fact that I don't have reasons to text with her every day!

large, high-end Indian/Jewish fusion wedding, but we also could not afford to spend a large chunk of our wedding budget on planning. Christina and Events Boutique were both reasonably priced and fully capable. Christina was always accessible by phone 24/7 and so responsive, so creative and really helped keep us on budget. she helped bring our vision to life and it surpassed our wildest dreams. On the day of, I cannot say enough times how incredible this team was. They were totally calm, in control and our day with 2 ceremonies and complex arrangements went off without a hitch! I have to give special shout out to Taneel, one of Christina's associates who was my "lady in waiting" and was by my side all day to help with my gown, veil and do every little detail I needed help with. They were ALWAYS 3 steps ahead of us, completely on top of everything, so patient and understanding when we had a hiccup with our venue... 48 HOURS BEFORE OUR WEDDING!!!! Taneel dealt with all of our vendors for us and updated them on the venue change when we weren't able to handle dealing with small details like that. We are Canadian and were in LA in February to meet all of our vendors and Christina was very accommodating about meeting us when and where it worked best. I completely understand why people rave about having a wedding planner and Taneel and Cory KILLED it. They helped make the day as beautiful as it was. We are so thankful for them.

nstantly knew she was the one; she has a warm personality, is easy to talk to, and really knows her sh*t. Although the day of starts about a month out from the wedding, I really felt that Christina helped with planning further out than that. She was easily reachable by email and cell, and at our detail meeting she really helped button up all our loose ends. We had hired one of her Associate Planners (Cory) and an assistant (Tesha), but since Christina did not have an event for that day, she helped out too! It was definitely a bonus and I was so happy to have her there. The big day went by without a hitch: Cory did a really good job of making sure that both my husband and I had food and drinks AT ALL TIMES, everything ran on time, cleanup was a breeze, and if something went wrong, I definitely didn't know about it. :) If you're looking for a great events team, Christina and the Events Boutique is the one!

Our wedding was at Disneyland, and she met us there to take a walk through the venue to make sure she was familiar with where she and her expert team would be decorating with her gorgeous, fresh, colorful flowers! She then shared ideas with us on how to decorate optimally, and to get the most flowers, loose petals, and decor for the least amount of money. We had a lot of unique ideas, such as decorating our seating, our gazebo, and aisle with flowers and loose petals in an hombre design. Christina never backed down from the challenge, and executed ALL of our ideas flawlessly, and within the time limits we had to work with for our ceremony. She re purposed our spray, and all other flowers from our ceremony to our reception with ease, and everything looked beautiful! She custom designed our table vases with jewels, and pink lights everywhere, which accented our gorgeous flowers. Stargazer lilies are my favorite, so she made sure to have plenty of them. She even made our boutineers for our bridal party and parents into Mickey head shapes! What a skilled team! Christina had a BOSS moment when I accidentally dropped my amazing bridal bouquet out of our horse drawn carriage when I leaned over to kiss my husband right after the ceremony. OH NO! But never fear! Christina was standing right there. She saw it happen, and came running up to me. She said "hold on Katie, I'll be right back." In a matter of minutes Christina had put together a brand new, completely beautiful bridal bouquet for me to use the rest of the night- complete with stargazer lillies. This woman and her team come prepared for anything, and they are constantly ready for whatever may occur. Christina stayed in constant communication with me and my husband throughout our planning process. I cannot sing the praises of The Events Boutique enough for all the hard work and flexibility they gave to me and my husband both leading up to, and on our special day. Christina Cruz knows her business, and she knows how to make a wedding beautiful. Her knowledge and intuition along with her beautiful, bright and sunny attitude made our wedding planning experience so fun and light and happy! As for the pricing, it was completely fair, and I would even call it a bargain. We are so completely satisfied with the services we received from the Events Boutique in every way.
