Both Shannon and Yvonne were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. The entire team navigated wedding changes during a pandemic with ease and made it less sad and stressful to have date changes before the big day finally arrived. Anyone getting married in the Portland area, should tour the Evergreen before making a final decision!

The Evergreen worked wonderfully with our wedding planner service, GATHER, and all of our vendors - we had such a great team. The entire day ran so smoothly and The Evergreen made every accommodation we needed to make our perfect day come to reality! Cannot recommend the venue and staff highly enough! Our guests had such a great time! Dream come true!!!

Not only is she incredibly organized and detail oriented, she is just wonderful to be around. I highly recommend The Evergreen for anyone getting married in Portland.

Evergreen knocked it out the park. I was emailing them frequently during the first few days of booking them with tons of questions and Shannon, our point of contact for the venue, was quick to respond with loads of information. Even after our viewing, she was emailing me to thank us for coming and to encourage us to ask her anything we weren't sure on. One of the biggest selling points for us for this venue was that they provided tables and chairs and they had a large guest capacity. Our original guest list was 160 and they were going to be able to accommodate it! (Our final count was only 110) The space is beautiful - industrial elements and modern touches, it really romanticized the large space. There is a mezzanine (great for cocktail hour, bouquet tosses and photos) and a bridal suite that is perfect for signing paperwork and getting dressed in before the first look. The bathrooms are large and they have great selfie mirrors. On the windows there are some plants that really soften the space and the go with absolutely any kind of floral decor. One of my favorite things about the space is the staircase leading up to the mezzanine. I chose to walk down it for the ceremony and it was so romantic, everyone gets a good view of the dress! One thing I would consider is that The Evergreen does have a list of approved caterers so if you're on a specific budget or have a catering company picked already, you may want to review that list before booking to see if any of them are in budget or will meet your needs. Although we absolutely loved who our caterer was (Cheryl's on 12th), we know we could have saved a little cash had we been able to pick a different caterer that wasn't on their list. The Evergreen makes having a bar easy - they have a partnership with the bar below them called Loyal Legion and you can use that space for cocktail hour. We chose to have our bar served from The Evergreen themselves so I can't speak to any experience with Loyal Legion involvement but I still think it's a cool option. Overall our experience was incredible! A large venue, an attentive and communicative staff, amazing accommodations and amenities, and everything/everyone came together to give us the special day we'd been dreaming of!

For us, Loyal Legion was a huge plus--it was one of the main reasons we picked the Evergreen, and our guests had a great time at our cocktail hour. The staff were always quick to respond to our questions and helpful; we used their expertise as we were making final decisions about the ceremony and timeline. We'd absolutely choose the Evergreen all over again.

The fact that they partner with Loyal Legion for cocktail hour if you want is a huge perk too - we had our cocktail hour downstairs and it was a blast. Thank you Shannon & Yvonne, we had so an amazing day and we really appreciate all that went into it!

great booze, great dance party, and we got them! We didn't want to spend a lot of money on 'extras' and this space doesn't need much at all. the exposed brick and sunlight beaming in was stunning. We had about 80 people and we knew we wanted it inside (who really likes to sweat their butt off during the ceremony- no thanks). Yvonne was our main POC and she was on top of everything and even had great recommendations for 3rd party vendors. Ceremony was downstairs and cocktail hour was upstairs. Then dinner/dancing moved back to the main space. Also, it is perfect that there is one of the better bars in Portland (Loyal Legion) for everyone to end up late night. I did my research on Portland locations and The Evergreen is absolutely the BEST space and reasonably prices. Thanks again Evergreen team!

Shannon & Yvonne went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered in a timely manner and were extremely accommodating when scheduling walk-throughs and coordinating with outside vendors. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an urban and unique location for their wedding (or any other event!) in inner-PDX.

about perfect for this sized room. Many more would be hard to handle. We haven't gotten our pictures back but it was an extremely photogenic place so I imagine they will be great. Our point of contact at the Evergreen was Yvonne. We found her very easy to work with, responsive, and fair. Having the Loyal Legion at ground level was a nice perk.
