THE FACE 2 FACE BAND

We hired Face to Face Band for our Wedding at Stroudsmoor Country Inn - Lawnhaven. We are native New Yorkers (Long Island and the Hudson Valley), who chose to get married in the Poconos. As soon as we had our venue and photographer booked, we sought out a band. Live music is incredibly important to the two of us, and we knew we couldn’t have a DJ to dance the night away to when it was live music that brought us together originally. I used GigMasters for the first time and I am so glad I did! I was able to sample their songs, pop onto their website, and do some deep stalking on YouTube and social media. We hired Face to Face without ever seeing them live. About a year after hiring them, our schedules aligned to see them live at the Mohawk House in NJ. Luke and the band are amazing, incredible, thoughtful, kind… everything and more when it comes to live music and setting the tone for your wedding. Our friend played our ceremony, and we have Face to Face provide piano during cocktail hour and then set the gearshift to the highgear for the reception with the full band + saxophone -- because what is a band without saxophone? Our guests were blown away by Face to Face. They are still talking about our band. What was most telling is the band never had to ask people to get up and dance -- the dance floor spilled over into dining as EVERYONE was up dancing. Kelly, their lead singer, is UNBELIEVABLE. My father has played in bands his whole life, and they even had him get up there and play a few songs on the spot, and at one point I turned around and my brother was up there “singing”. We cannot thank Luke for all of his communication with us leading up to our wedding and surprising my husband and his mother for their dance by covering Celine Dion. We ended the night with a request of Hey Jude which is a moment we will never forget. Being able to look around and see everyone we love singing and dancing along left us feeling even more grateful than we could have thought. THANK YOU so much to the whole band for being the soundtrack to our wedding.

Luke and his band were absolutely phenomenal at our wedding in May. They kept the party going all night long with a wide range of songs. All of our guests commented on how amazing they were. They were very professional and easy to work with, and we couldn't be happier with how they performed at our wedding. Thank you for making our special day unforgettable!

Luke and his band are absolutely spectacular! You can truly tell how much he and the entire band genuinely care about making your wedding unforgettable and they do not disappoint! We continue to receive countless compliments on the band as being the best band heard at any wedding, period. They are so much fun and keep the party going from start to finish. (And beyond when they have the chance!) They’re interactive with the crowd and have amazing talent across the board. FUN is the first word that comes to mind when we think of them. They’ve made us groupies and we cannot wait to continue enjoying their performances for years to come! Hire them! You won’t be disappointed!

Luke and the band were a damn good time! The individual band members are very talented and versatile and they were able to mix genres appropriately throughout the various phases of the reception. They were completely in touch with the vibe of the crowd throughout the evening and knew how to keep people on the dance floor. We received many compliments from our guests about how much fun the band was. As an MC, Luke worked with us and our coordinator to make sure the script and timing of the event stayed on course, and gave us complete freedom and flexibility to make it our own. He even let the groom play a few songs with the band! Leading up to the event, Luke was very accommodating and he intuitively knew how the progression of the event should go with little direction from us. Luke was extremely easy to work with and we would highly recommend the band not only for weddings but for any/all events!

I have to say my husband was hesitant about having a band at the wedding instead of a DJ. After our wedding he told me they made the night! Luke and his band kept the music flowing the dance floor was full the whole night and all our guest loved the live music. Face 2 Face was definitely the right choice I'm so glad we had them at our wedding.
