It did not fit right the train on it was sown assymetrical. So I sent an email telling her this... mind you this was 3 weeks before my wedding and she wanted me to send it back to her in order to make the corrections and trust it would be perfect for my wedding day. Needless to say I ended up ordering the original from a bridal shop and received a week before my wedding. This was Aug 2018 and I’m still waiting for her to refund my money because she told me she would. I would not recommend and in fact have told all of my friends to avoid!

Remember Brides, you will be placing an order that of course will extend past 24 hrs. depending on the "when" of your wedding. For me, I placed my order and paid in full eleven months before my wedding. Right out of the gate you will read: “We do not accept cancellations after 24-hours of your order being placed. To request a cancellation within 24-hours, please email returns@sunflowerdreamsbridal.com for a return authorization code. or call 833-274-3318 - Our business hours are Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 2 PM EST There is a 10% cancellation fee for any wedding or formal dress orders.” (copy and pasted from the Faded Sunflower policy.) PAY HEED… Ashley does not answer calls outside the Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 2 PM EST schedule. When you leave a message be prepared, you will most likely not receive a returned phone call. You will need to email her that you tried calling, you left a message etc... So, forget that 24 hour window that appears to be “graciously” extended. She also has the problem of email (conveniently) not making it to her inbox (lost in the email abyss.) Her policy is her shield - it is written, and upheld. Be careful. READ THE REVIEWS, they are real, they are honest, though Ashley will vehemently state otherwise, deny is probably the better word. I know this first hand. I reached out to one of them. She was sweet, kind and held no malice. Ashley put her through the ringer for what was supposed to be her fairy tale, her most special day. As she did with the brides that wrote the one-star ratings, and now me - it is just awful to be writing this. My wedding day is June 1, 2019 - I do not have the energy to type the whole situation that has brought me to this day. I have hired a local seamstress to make my Maggie Sottero -Kalisti replica. I will have the opportunity to shop with this seamstress, to pick the fabrics and the full-on bling beading. I will have multiple fittings up to the very end of its completion. I will be 100% involved in the making of my wedding gown, as it should be. My advice to you future brides: If you’re looking to replicate a designer gown for the fraction of the cost, you can. Do it local. Put your feelers out on Facebook, join your local FB community, put it out there as: “Recommendations for a seamstress” even the reason “why”, that it is to make your wedding dress - everyone loves romance! You will be amazed of how helpful your community will want to be. Plus, this is the best part!! you will have the joy of being a hands-on part in the creating of your amazing gown, again… as it should be. The Faded Sunflower is an amazing concept (Replicating Designer gowns) however, its owner is a bride’s re-occurring nightmare come true. I was referred to as crazy, insane, unhinged, swore at (seriously?!) because I would not be bullied. I protected myself. I am having my dream wedding June 1, 2019 with no more worries - that reflects sanity in my book.

I got married in June 2018 and have not received my entire refund. I've sent messages to Ashley and have not heard back. PLEASE to all brides to be, stay away from this scam and spend your money elsewhere. This was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on any one.

g was set for October 2018, I found my dress that I wanted in April 2018. The Faded Sunflower was in Tennessee and looked legit. I contacted Ashley (owner) and she said she can make it and it would be stunning. So even after looking at the reviews (there were more good than bad) I decided to go for it. Ashley started my dress May 25 2018- it was a 4-6 week job-- at 8 weeks it was completed. Well here's where things started going downhill. After 4 1/2 weeks of Ashley telling me it's on its way and not being able to get a hold of her it finally arrives end of August. Now I have about 7 weeks before my wedding, I had ordered the sexy and soft chiffon beach wedding dress. So before I received it I started looking for a new dress due to it taking so long and the time constraints. I filed a refund with my credit card company due to the fact of no dress. Well I finally received it and I was excited to see why this dress took 12 1/2 weeks. Let's just say it was a prom dress gone wrong. It had sequins (seriously) never once did we discuss sequins, the applique that she ordered to go on the dress was no where on it and the only beading was colored but not even my wedding colors and she had outlined stuff omg it was awful. The material was cheap (china) cheap. There was a tag that said dry clean only no company name (well figure that out). So I sent it back. We spent a lot of money on our destination wedding and I wasn't going to have an awful looking dress. So I told my credit card company and they went to bat to me. I received an email from Ashley saying she can fix it in 2 days, so my now husband calls her and asks her if she can fix it in 2 days why did it take 12 1/2 weeks to receive it (well she had no explanation). She says we were scammers and she was gonna have us served. She even did a criminal background check on both me and my husband and called our local police department (nothing happened). So I found another dress and come to find out they could have ordered my original dress from the designer. So ladies if you find a dress see who the designer is and order through a store who sells that designer. The dress I ended up with was even more beautiful than my nightmare. The wedding was beautiful and I got my dress refunded by my credit card company. So moral of the story if it's something real important to you make sure you research galore so you don't end up with a nightmare of a dress. And if your unsure or on the fence don't do it. Glad this nightmare is over, now I can enjoy married life.

The reason for the reimbursement is because my dress arrived 5 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! After over a month of me panicking about WHERE IS MY DRESS? The dress was made the week before my wedding, I never got to see any images of the work-in-progress and CRIED FOR DAYS over the stress of not having my dress. The dress needed severe alterations and my seamstress did not have time to finish the dress. The least she could do would be to reimburse me. So now, I am publicly making my complaints. The dress had many good parts but the customer service, lack of professionalism and concern about the importance of one's wedding day are enough for me to never recommend anyone ever buying a wedding dress from the Faded Sunflower. Pay the couple extra hundred dollars to buy a dress else where and save yourself the headache, anxiety and stress. NOT WORTH IT!

Thankfully we got our money back (not from her, from the credit card company because they saw the dress, emails and lies and verified that she did not deliver what was promised). All her responses to the many identical complains are made up responses. I’m sure they are because her response to my wife was that she was fleeing from the cops and moved out of state! How crazy and hilarious. Unfortunately what isn’t funny is the amount of headaches she gives people when they should be enjoying their big day. STAY CLEAR!

She started off very professional and giving me the “deal of a lifetime”. Well MONTHS AFTER the due date for my dress, and lots of promises to me to receive the dress in time (with 4 push back dates and no responses for weeks), I FINALLY got the horribly made, bad quality material and wrong measurements ONE DAY BEFORE I LEFT FOR MY DESTINATION WEDDING!!!! Needless to say, thank goodness I listened to my friends and bought a back up dress. I wish I could post photos, the chest was sewn lopsided, 6 inches too long on the bottom, a hole in the back, and so so so much more. Definitely not suitable to wear in public let alone on a wedding day. DO NOT USE HER!!!! Thank goodness I just got my money back. I fully intend on her arguing with me on here as she has with her other identicle complaints, so know now, I’m not responding. Finally this nightmare of a chapter can be closed! If anyone else has a question- feel free to ask. Even if I save one person from going through this nightmare- it’s worth it.

I ordered my Coco replica in ivory and when it arrived it looked white so, I emailed Ashley and she responded immediately and showed me the difference between the white and ivory dresses and how close they were. I was thinking ivory was more cream than off white. Ashley offered to remake the dress for me in a different color for the coast of material which was above and beyond what any other shop would have done. I would have been stuck with a gown I wasn't happy with. A friend at work purchased my ivory gown and Ashley remade my dress in cream. it was PERFECT. It fit perfectly and I couldn't be happier! Every time I emailed Ashley she answered within minutes or at the most a few hours, even late at night. The faded Sunflower went above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect dress. Ashley was fun to work with and the only negative I can think of is that shipping took longer than I expected for the second dress so I am only giving 4-stars for responsiveness. I have recommended Ashley to several friends who are currently working with this shop and they agree. I'll let them leave their own reviews though! :) Thanks for everything Ashley! I'll send pictures next month!

I felt that she was truly a blessing to us!! I started looking for a dress a little late in the game, but I was assured many times she could do it with no problem. She told me I would be sent pictures as the dress developed and I never received one. I had to send multiple emails to ever get any responses. She kept confusing me with other brides and continued to do so into our final emails. I did not get my dress in the mail until the NIGHT BEFORE MY REHEARSAL DINNER. Disappointed is an understatement. It looked like something you would have ordered off of Wish. I got professionally measured yet not ONE part of the dress fit me. Needless to say I didn’t have the opportunity to get it fixed so I was unable to use it. I put it right back in the box after trying it on ONE TIME and emailed Ashley the following week asking for a refund. She promised me a full refund by the middle of January. (This was in December) She received the dress and apparently the box was damaged from the carrier and she was going to make a claim with USPS. At that time she assured me I would still be receiving my refund in full making it clear USPS was to blame. I continued to check in with her every so often because days, weeks, months would pass by and every time she gave me a new excuse (all of them being too personal for comfort and very unprofessional) I am not one to leave a bad review but I truly feel this is VERY worthy. Finally APRIL comes by (almost five months later..) and I tell her I was fed up and sick of excuses and wanted my money...who wouldn’t at that point? I had expected this $700 any day now since January. Addressing me as “lady” she told me she was sick of being taken advantage of by “people like me” using words like “damn” continued to attack me. I never heard anything about the USPS claim until she suddenly accused me of DESTROYING the dress that I tried on one time and put back in the box. I’m assuming as an attempt to turn things around on me. She also once again confused me with someone else. Based upon other negative reviews around my timeline it makes sense why she was getting me confused with others considering she had many unhappy customers at the same time for very similar reasons. Unprofessional, unorganized, untruthful, and rude are words that don’t even begin to describe what I’ve been dealing with for months. I was nothing short of kind and patient until April rolled around and even AFTER she sent me such an ugly message I was still kind to her until now. Another MONTH has gone by and nothing. At this point I don’t think she was ever planning to refund me in the first place. I would just hate for this to happen to anyone else, and warn other brides not to count on someone who can only come up with a good product when she feels like it. She has great work that is clearly shown in a lot of her pictures I just don’t know what makes her pick and choose which ones she wants to put effort into considering it’s every bride’s BIG DAY. You’re taking a gamble ordering with this company.

dress. She went mia, and would not respond to any of my messages on Facebook or by email. My dress was supposed to ship the third week in December. By late January I had inquired again about the whereabouts of my dress. She was still not responding to my messages. Finally, on January 25 she said she had shipped my dress. USPS shows that the shipping label was printed on January 25, however, the dress was not actually given to USPS until January 29. I am currently 4 months pregnant and now starting to show a lot. Every day my stomach is growing larger, making it more unlikely that I will be able to try on my dress. My dress finally arrived today, FEBRUARY 21, and was horrible. I almost cried. The bottom half was supposed to be a light flowy material. It was thick very heavy shiny material that looks extremely cheap. It looks like it was rushed and put together over night. The lace on the top part looks extremely cheap as well and doesn't even look like it is supposed to.

I emailed her a picture of the dress I wanted and asked if this was something she could replicate and if so what she would charge. She responded and said she could and would charge me $800. I was so excited! I paid in advance and she said that she would let me be a part of the whole process. She told me she would send me samples of everything before beginning on my dress. That never happened. She also did not stick with the timeline she gave me. I wasn’t too worried about and was more anxious about what my dress would look like. When I received it I was not very happy.. sad actually. When we first talked I told her that there was some design changes that I wanted done to the dress to cover large scars that I have due to surgery. Those requests were ignored. So there I stood in a dress 5 times too big and all of my scars were showing. I was very unhappy with the material choice as well and the bead choice. If I had been included in those decisions like I was told I could have been happier with that part. I did take a month before reaching out again and my reason was to try and figure out if I even wanted to try and salvage this wedding dress. Since I had already paid I figured I shouldn’t spend more money and give her the chance to fix it. We talked on the phone she promised me the changes wouldn’t be a problem and she wanted me happy. She gave me a date in which I would receive my dress. That date came and went. I wrote an email about getting an update on my dress and she gave me a new date. That came and went. This process happened multiple times. I finally received the dress nine days before my wedding. It was the most hideous thing I had ever seen. I sent her a picture of myself in the dress and told her I couldn’t believe she would expect me to wear this to my wedding. She offered to refund all of my money. That was in September 2017. She has yet to refund me anything after making multiple promises to do so. I have heard every excuse imaginable. I am currently look into legal options to get my money back. I just hope no one else falls for her scam of a business.

e is not even an inch of the dress that needs to be altered; it fits like a glove although Ashley has never seen me in real life. She made this amazing dress just by looking at the photo and following my measurements that I sent to her. The lace she used is just beautiful and I also got to choose which pattern I like and that made me feel really involved. The communication was also good, I didn’t stress at all and from the first email I got from Ashley I felt really confident and calm and I had no doubts and no regrets. er!! I was extremely patient with her delate, and once finally she send the dress it was almost on time of the party it has being the worst deception of my life to open that box!! And the first mail before the purchase I made the perfect questions, can you do it? And obviously she say yes and she couldn’t, I’m still waiting my money back and the address to send the “dress” back after a month!!

was very accommodating and flexible when we first spoke on the phone. I thought I was going to get the amazing wedding dress of my dreams. What I ended up with was a nightmare. Ashley and I had some differences of opinion on the level of communication throughout the process, the timeline and the size/fit of the dress once I recieved it. But the biggest problem I had, and the reason I feel compelled to write a review, is that Ashley told me she used only the best fabric and that my dress would be made out of silk taffeta, and the dress I recieved was polyester taffeta. Ashley claimed it was silk when I confronted her but I burned a piece of the fabric and it melted into a hard plastic ball, which is something a synthetic fabric like polyester would do. It felt like I was wearing a shower curtain or tarp and it was not something I could even imagine walking down the aisle in on my wedding. I asked for a refund, considering that the product I got was not what I was promised, and Ashley refused that and only offered to remake or resell the dress. Suffice it to say, if you care about fabric or are in a crunch to get a perfectly fitted dress, I would look elsewhere.
