The Fairhope Inn is a beautiful wedding venue nestled in the heart of Fairhope, AL. Consistently named among the south's most desirable small towns, Fairhope is an ideal refuge for those couples seeking an intimate and tranquil wedding ceremony in a location their guests will love. The town features cafes, indie bookstores, and boutiques, and is just a short walk from Mobile Bay. This venue lends a charming atmosphere and incredible backdrop to wedding events. Owner Paige Dawson and her general manager, Jeffrey Mog run this charming venue and are excited to be a part of their couples’ special days. The house, built in the 1920s once operated as a small fish market. The Midwestern farmhouse-style home later was transformed into a beautiful inn and was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Today, after a new renovation, the building acts as a charming Bed and Breakfast and as a sophisticated wedding venue. The property can host up to 300 guests for both indoor and outdoor spaces from the traditional porch and courtyard patio, to the private indoor dining areas. Inside, the venue features elegant décor and beautiful original paintings by a celebrated local artist. The three upstairs suites are well-appointed with stylish features ready to provide overnight accommodation for newlyweds and guests. A private carriage house just off the courtyard offers comfortable get-ready space for bridal party or guest accommodations. The spacious courtyard includes a freshly restored fountain, gazebo, and landscaping and provides a romantic location for couples to exchange vows.
The Fairhope Inn is an idyllic space to host your wedding ceremony and reception and offers a range of packages to accommodate your event. The staff will be on hand to assist with setup and cleanup, and to ensure that your special day runs smoothly. We had the most beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Fairhope Inn. The venue accommodated 100 guests for a seated dinner and we had a two person band play outside in the courtyard. Ev...
eryone raved about the food and were constantly taking photos in the beautiful courtyard.
My dream wedding reception was held here! Such a great experience working with the staff - they were very accommodating. The food catered by their in-house restaurant tasted great!...
Could not have gone any better - was amazing night!
There is an initial rental fee and then an additional tent fee by a separate party. Food payment was also through them, roughly $60 a head possibly more depending on alcohol.
Where to even start...the Fairhope Inn was our saving grace in a year full of uncertainty and changed plans. When my husband and I started planning our wedding in early 2020, we we...
re going to have it on my family’s farm in North Mississippi. Even after COVID hit, we still kept this plan because it would be outside, in October, and people could spread out and still have a good time. However, in the summer, when the restrictions on number of people allowed in gatherings tightened, we knew that it would no longer be possible to have the farm wedding and even include all of our family members. We both live in the Mobile area, so we started looking at local venues since the restrictions here were not so tight. One weekend in July, we came across the Fairhope Inn. Just stepping onto the lovely porch and seeing the swing (which are special to me and my family), I felt an overwhelming sense that this was going to be the place where we got married. That sense faltered a bit when we spoke with one of the owners, Jeffrey, who said that they were likely already booked up for October since it’s such a popular month for weddings. However, after checking the schedule, they had one weekend open, and it just so happened to be the date that we had chosen back in March. We were so relieved and felt as if it was meant to be. Jeffrey and all others who worked at the Inn during the months of planning and the wedding weekend itself were all beyond helpful and kind. The food (not just at the wedding, but their breakfast, brunch, and regular dinner) was all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. My parents and grandparents stayed in the rooms inside the Inn, while I stayed in the cottage. All of the ladies got their hair and makeup done together in the cottage, and it later became our newlywed suite as well. It was an ideal space for everything! The courtyard, with its beautiful gazebo and tranquil fountain, were the absolutely perfect setting for our ceremony and then for our reception as well. The band was able to set up a stage under the tent, which turned the courtyard into an awesome dance floor. The florist (Katherine of Jubilee Flowers, also in Fairhope) had an already-beautiful canvas to add to, and she even decorated the porch swing that had captured my heart on that first day. To say that we had a dream wedding at this venue doesn’t even do it justice. I may be biased, but it was the most beautiful wedding, and that’s thanks in (big) part to the Fairhope Inn for hosting it.
