The Farmer & The Chickpea

I cannot write enough amazing things about the Farmer and the Chickpea! My family hosted my sister’s baby shower here in February, and it was absolutely perfect. Since it is her second child, we wanted something intimate and unique, and our expectations were far exceeded. The private room comfortably held our party, with space to spare for gift and game tables. Jillian, the owner, was so accommodating and made the entire process so simple. The restaurant is always decorated beautifully, so we only had to add a little decor to match the shower theme, making set-up the morning of the event very easy. The best part, though, was the food - everyone keeps talking about how great it was! It’s a nice departure from traditional banquet style food that you usually have at events. You can tell that everything is homemade from the freshest ingredients. We’ve always loved their chicken pot pie, meatballs, and parmesean roasted chickpeas - but the kale salad might have been one of the biggest hits of the day! We can’t thank Jillian enough for helping us plan and execute the perfect baby shower, and will definitely be in again soon!
