The Farmer's Daughter

absolute pleasure to work with. I primarily worked with Jenna and Lauren, who were both kind, friendly, and professional. From the initial consultation call to finalizing the proposal, they were very flexible and helpful in bringing my vision to life. For decor, I wanted to primarily rely on the natural beauty of the venue and the florals, with a vision that was romantic, timeless, and whimsical. I provided a few inspiration photos and handed over the reins to the TFDF team. They transformed my vision into beautiful results that truly exceeded my expectations. We received many compliments from guests on the florals! They designed personal flowers, a stunning floral arch and aisle pieces for the ceremony, and beautiful table scapes that included candle and vessel rentals, as well as decorative votives and bud vases. I'll attach photos to this review at a later date when I have nice photos to share – but trust me, everything was immaculate. You won't regret working with this lovely local business.

d everything was beyond what I even expected. We did a ceremony arch, bud vases, a bouquet, and aisle arrangements that got moved over to our reception venue and it was all so beautiful, and looked so incredibly professional. Our guests raved about the flowers, and we even kept our bud vases to use at brunch the next day and returned the vases on Tuesday. Would recommend to anyone getting married in Pittsburgh. Love love love.

tears every time I look at photos from our wedding. They are everything that I wanted! Not only that, the staff were nothing but incredible to work with. They listened to my every wish and made it all a reality. I am so very grateful of the experience working with the Farmers Daughter and highly recommend them to all!!

ver seen. They were such high quality and so full and just gorgeous. I just can’t get over how beautiful they were. The bouquets were also very full and fresh - the prettiest I have ever seen at a wedding. The ladies that came to set up and transition were so professional, friendly and amazingly talented. I cannot recommend The Farmer’s Daughter enough. They will make your wedding beautiful!

ne, I had about 15 mish-moshed Pinterest pictures that were “kind of” what I wanted, but I was really 95% clueless. After chatting for about 20 minutes, Lauren worked her magic and turned my jumbled mess into the most gorgeous ideas! Many brides (& grooms!) are thrown into the wedding planning world with no clue of what it entails, which necessitates carefully curating vendors that you can rely on & trust. The Farmer's Daughter has an astounding level of knowledge & expertise that proved INVALUABLE!! On our wedding day, Lauren and The Farmer’s Daughter did NOT disappoint! When The Farmer’s Daughter team walked into our bridal suite with the bouquets, everyone audibly gasped – they were breathtaking! We got numerous compliments from guests all evening long, and even after the wedding – everyone gushed about the centerpieces, our deconstructed arch, the bouquets, everything! Lauren & The Farmer’s Daughter was one vendor that I did not need to worry or think about after booking, and that peace of mind was such a special gift! I would recommend them to anyone for all of your floral needs!! As an added bonus, I also got some last-minute bridesmaids’ gifts from their shop – they have the CUTEST stuff in there!!

Also, the bridal bouquet was exactly what we wanted, and all of the flowers were above and beyond our expectations. The Farmer's Daughter is very professional, organized, creative and reliable. We highly recommend them for any event!

There's so much involved in wedding planning and design, so I would recommend their full service package that includes each element of your design (vases, candles, etc.) and allows them to bring your vision to life and create a fully cohesive design. The Farmer's Daughter worked with me to create a grounded floral arch/display for our ceremony setup that was repurposed at our sweetheart table--this was so fun to work with them on! We can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so beautiful!

a living sanctuary. The inspiration board they created for us was so helpful and allowed our ideas to come to life. They were professional, timely, and so kind. If you want the best floral arrangements in the Burgh - go to the Farmers Daughter!

loral arrangement. The arrangements were so incredibly beautiful and really created the romantic wedding ambiance I had always envisioned for my wedding.

s they created to compliment a neon sign of our names in a greenery wall. Everything was so beautiful! I was so impressed when I visited the shop for a floral mock-up ahead of the wedding -- Lauren perfectly matched my vision! Everything was delivered and set up promptly day of, and they accommodated my request to provide some containers for guests to take some of the flowers home. I highly recommend TFD to anyone looking for a wedding florist!

ere truly the most beautiful things I'd ever seen! There's a reason the Farmer's Daughter is so well-regarded. The team was incredibly responsive, supportive and creative during the planning process and worked with me to bring my vision to life in a way I never could've imagined. ore white whispies) and dahlias, ranunculas, etc and they were absolutely stunning. I can’t speak highly enough. Everything was delivered on time and they also helped us switch our plan up as our wedding set up (seated dinner to stations) changed and thus the number and types of arrangements needed also changed. Highly, highly recommend!!!

our budget. As someone who isn’t very artistic, it was very easy to work out your “vision” and collaborate to create beautiful floral arrangements. Everyone commented on the bouquets and centerpieces!

rals (but was certain of what she DIDN'T want) and created beautiful pieces that accented the day and the wedding day "vision" perfectly! They also worked with us to stay in budget, helping guide where it made sense to splurge or save. Can't recommend them enough!

eces, bouquets, and boutonnières turned out. Lauren and the rest of TFD staff were great to work with and very responsive. We got many compliments throughout the evening on the flowers!

n't hesitate to recommend them to other couples in the Pittsburgh region and will likely use them for future events!

quets arrived early in the morning on the wedding day and brought me to tears (joyful ones) with how absolutely stunning they were. And the reception hall looked so beautiful, we even had a greenery chandelier that they put together. They were so helpful throughout planning and wonderful to work with!

designs from the first meeting, and the arrangements on the day-of were truly spectacular. In the design process, they helped us figure out what we wanted, including fun bits like including succulents, and were helpful with suggestions to make it all fit in our budget. We definitely recommend them!! Thanks so much :)

o our ceremony and reception florals— were absolutely stunning. We received so many compliments on how beautiful and fresh our flowers were. My bouquet was breathtaking, and everything that I had asked for. I am so thankful and happy that we choose The Farmers Daughter for our florals!

o include, but gave them free rein from there. My bouquet was GORGEOUS! They were easy to communicate with and so helpful leading up to the wedding in terms of arranging pickup, and brainstorming about how to incorporate some special details the day of. The flowers were packaged well and in wonderful condition when we received them. I couldn't have asked for more beautiful flowers to be part of our special day. You won't regret working with them for your wedding!

my expectations! Thank you for adding truly remarkable florals to our day and to our memories! Highly...HIGHLY recommend!

utiful everything was. I am still in disbelief at what an amazing job they did!!!From start to finish, Lauren and her team were super easy to work with and always very kind, friendly, and accommodating. They did an outstanding job, and it was everything we could have wanted and more. We highly recommend using the Farmer’s Daughter for all of your floral needs!

ime I have ordered something or stopped in, but they were specifically amazing on our wedding day. When I made an appointment to talk about booking them as our florist, I really didn't know what I was looking for. I had no idea what a standard budget should be, and I changed my mind more than once on the look I was hoping for on the day. Lauren and the team rolled with all of the punches I threw at them, and answered each and every question I had with transparency and kindness. I told Lauren that we wanted "warm jewel tones" and "funky florals" and left it at that, and the team gave us more than we could have ever dreamed of. They somehow took the disjointed, vague ideas I had and produced EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I genuinely almost cried when I saw my bouquet. These ladies are beyond professional, some of the kindest souls on the planet, and create actual magic. Book them and then book them again and then go to the shop and buy everything in stock!

us to keep on our budget. The best thing was that after meeting with her and sending some inspiration photos, I knew that I didn't have to worry about the final product. I was able to trust them to make my wedding flowers and table arrangements beautiful. I dried my bouquet and I love looking at it even now!

ith. Her creativity is unmatched (I met with 3 other florists) and she took my vision and took it to the next level. I couldn't have imagined it looking any more beautiful than it did. Highly recommend them!

vision to life during the consultation - talking us through different ideas, making suggestions to take our ideas to the next level, and answering any questions we had without making us feel clueless about flowers. We were over the moon when we saw our flowers on our wedding day, and if I could keep my bouquet forever on display, I would have! I highly recommend The Farmer's Daughter as a wedding florist if you want quality, creative, and stunning florals!

g the meeting with Jenna, she really took the lead. I had a few inspiration photos and no idea about any specific florals I wanted. She took charge and listened to my very vague ideas of what I wanted the wedding to look like then beautifully executed it. The Farmer’s Daughter has the process down to a science. They are so professional and great to work with. I can’t recommend them enough!

ppoint! Lauren and her team created and set-up 6 amazing bouquets, 9 boutineers, a gorgeous dripping overhang and 4 growing planters for our chapel, and 18 centerpieces for our reception. We also rented decor (terrariums and candles) from them, a decision that I do not regret. Personally, it saved us time and storage space to do it this way. I would highly recommend Farmers Daughter Flowers for any special occasion in your life. Their flowers are magical. After 4 months, I still don't have the heart to throw my bouquet away!

ented!!! I am so happy we chose them to do our wedding flowers! Everything fro the bouquets to the centerpieces to all the floral details were incredible! We can not that them enough for the work they did for our wedding! In my opinion, the flowers at a wedding truly make the space... and at our wedding this was definitely the case! Everything was INCREDIBLE! BOOK THEM NOW! You will be so so so happy that you did! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

who were close to my venue. As soon as I discovered The Farmer's Daughter, I was set on booking them. After my first consultation with Lauren I was certain this was the florist for me. I felt like she was reading my mind. I would start talking about my vision for the venue and she would finish my sentences. My venue was a bit of a blank canvas and I have no knack for decorating so I was really counting on the talent of my florist to make the space pop. I was not disappointed! When I walked into the space on my wedding day, my jaw hit the floor. Every detail was perfect from the centerpieces to the gorgeous asymmetrical design they created for my arbor. Not to mention, my bridal bouquet and the bouquets for my bridesmaids. They were absolutely stunning. I couldn't bring myself to part with them so I had them preserved and made into a wreath. If you book The Farmer's Daughter, you are truly booking artists. Their work is unparalleled.
