Our Wedding Planner, Your Event | Paula Smith Designs recommended The Farmer's Wife for our Bridal party breakfast for the day of our wedding, and we were beyond impressed! Emilie ...
was very prompt and consistent with her communication in placing our order during a very busy wedding season! She also did an amazing job helping us select a variety of choices to have; from pastries to breakfast sandwiches and to emphasize THE BEST QUICHES EVER! Everyone was raving about how delicious everything was and how generous the portions were. We would highly recommend The Farmer's Wife for any occasion and will defiantly be ordering from them next time we are in the area!
We chose the Farmer's wife as our caterer for our wedding in upstate NY. The food was phenomenal! Our friends and family were raving about how delicious everything was! The Farmer'...
s Wife also made our beautiful wedding cake - vanilla cake with lemon custard - it was amazing. Emilie was absolutely wonderful to work with. We really appreciated the fact that she was very conscious of our budget, and made smart suggestions to our menu. She really went above and beyond, and we could not be more pleased with choosing them to be our caterer. Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service and food, Emilie and Job!
I couldn't recommend Emilie and Job more highly. The food was a total highlight of the evening and our guests are still talking about it! I think the thing that really made our exp...
erience unforgettable was the level of commitment, and care, and thought Emilie and Job put into our day. They were always available to troubleshoot, bounce around ideas, and create something that felt exactly right. They are an amazing pair and we look forward to keeping in touch with them looking forward!
Emilie and Job catered our November wedding at the Senate Garage in Kingston, NY. We visited their shop in Ancramdale and were blown away by the quality, taste and presentation of ...
their food as well as the overall vibe and design of their store. The food was one of the most important parts of our wedding and we wanted our guests to enjoy great food not just great food for a wedding. Emilie and Job absolutely delivered. Our guests were raving about how delicious the hor d'oeuvres were from the first bite. Every single piece of food that came out of the kitchen tasted as good when serving 150 guests as it did in our private tasting.
They are not your basic wedding caterer and for us that made a huge difference in making our day exactly what we wanted. Emilie worked with us on our budget and in designing a thoughtful menu that was diverse to ensure there was plenty of food for everyone even our vegetarian and gluten free friends. She also worked with our rental company and pretty much handled that entire process which was suer helpful.
Their staff was incredible, there was never a line at the bar, the night flowed perfectly with the serving of the courses. I was also always taken care of, one of the perks of being a bride. Their staff also took care of expertly mixing and handling our specialty cocktails which was also a crucial element of the day.
And the cake, WOW. My sister commented that usually the bride doesn’t wolf down a whole slice during the cutting of the cake, but I couldn’t help myself.
I can’t recommend the Farmer’s Wife highly enough.
Emilie, Job and the team at the farmer's wife was everything we could have asked for and more for our wedding.
They worked with us to create a fun menu that our guests loved and...
are still talking about! Truly the best food I have ever had at any wedding or catered event I've been to.
The service was excellent. All of the staff were so nice and helpful.
Would completely recommend.
I can't say enough. Emilie and Job catered my wedding this September in Hudson, NY and I feel so lucky to have worked with them. Guests are still raving about the food, and asking...
for the recipes!
We did not use a wedding planner or day-of coordinator and Emilie helped me figure out so many of the little details: the timeline, set-up of the tables, handling all rentals, when toasts/dances should happen, etc., all while making sure our vegetarian friends would be well fed!
I recommend them without hesitation. Have fun!
