The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in Amelia, OH. This working farm is situated on 132 acres of land that was originally a golf course. Co-owners Lauren and Jeremy Boswell have worked hard to develop their property to host charming, country-style events with a modern touch.
This husband-and-wife duo has been running this sustainable farm for nearly ten years. With a passion for hosting special events, this couple aspires to provide a farm-to-table experience for your big day. They have remodeled the old clubhouse into a modern farmhouse that can host your guests for a rehearsal dinner on the porch or a cocktail hour in the bar. You can take advantage of the many photo opportunities offered by the expansive land lined with centuries-old oak groves, seven serene ponds, and an old Ford tractor. Then, you may exchange your vows in an outdoor ceremony under the venue’s rustic arch made from reclaimed wood. The farmhouse can host up to 150 people for a covered reception, or a tent is available for a large celebration on the front lawn.
The catering team is led by Kyla Masturzo who trained under Jimmy Gibson, an experienced culinarian who has worked as an executive chef for the Jeff Ruby Restaurants. Her focus is on providing tasty, sustainably-raised meats and organic vegetables for your wedding meal. You and your loved ones can delight in their light snacks such as a fine charcuterie and cheese board, garden vegetable crudités, and hot soft baked pretzels. For heavier grazing, you may enjoy their farm-raised and grass-fed burgers and meatball marinara sliders.
With comprehensive wedding packages, The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge Farm aims to account for every detail. The Day On The Farm suite of offerings includes 13 hours of access to the property, cherry wood reception chairs, round or rectangle tables, church pew and straw bale under board seating at the ceremony site, and setup and cleanup. A dedicated coordinator will also be on-site to manage the energy and flow of your gathering. With the Farm And Charm Weekend package, you can make your wedding occasion a weekend-long event with a rehearsal dinner and access to the property the day after the event. They also offer access to the property for engagement photo sessions. This dedicated team of professionals is happy to arrange wedding coordination services to help you organize your party. This venue can also provide a range of extras such as a champagne toast, hayrides for your guests, and a bourbon tasting.

We are Lauren and Jeremy Boswell. Owners and operators of Emmett Ridge Farm and The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge Farm. The Farmhouse is a project of passion. We have been running a sustainable farm and farm to table catering business for 7 years. When the property became available we knew this had to be our next step.
We are passionate about throwing great parties. We will work with you from the initial planning to execution of your big day to ensure it all goes off without a hitch. We will be there with you all along the way and can't wait to help host your big day!

This venue is beyond words. It is so beautiful and their team goes above and beyond to make your day extra special. We were able to personalize elements and they love to try new ideas! They let us make a beaded curtain for the ceremony and helped us bring it to life. They were incredibly patient with our wilder guests. The team packed up all our items at the end of the night so I did not have to think twice. I cannot recommend them enough, our wedding would not be half as beautiful as it was without them!!

Emmett Ridge Farm was the perfect choice for my wife and I to have our wedding. When we first toured the venue with Lauren, we really fell in love with it. The whole aesthetic of the venue is exactly what were were envisioning Upon our wedding day, of course we were both stressed, but on top of that as well, a nice rain storm hit right when our ceremony was supposed to start. So with the weather not being on our side, we were very stressed out as of course you want the day to go perfectly. However, Lauren, Jeremy, and Jennay all helped out and were able to adapt our wedding on the fly due to the rain. They really made our stress go away as soon as they told us their game plan. The other onsite staff were very helpful and polite. The food was absolutely fantastic. The food, if they opened up a restaurant with just their food, I would a regular. I could go on and on about how our wedding day went, because it truly was the best day of my life, and that all is due to how helpful Lauren, Jeremy, and Jennay were. They also worked great with our other vendors, being our photographer and DJ. They all worked well together which again, made our day so much more amazing. I cannot speak enough on how much help Jennay, Lauren, and Jeremy were. Absolute professionals and even better people as well. I would absolutely recommend this venue to people, and if you have any doubts for some reason, please at least go tour the venue. Gorgeous location.

ERF is seriously the perfect venue. Not only do they plan all of the hard things for you, the atmosphere is breathtaking, too! Lauren, the owner, is the sweetest human and made our touring process so much fun and comfortable. She was super personable and made us feel right at home. Due to financial hardships, we were unable to book this venue which truly crushed us. We loved ERF, and I know they wont have any issues booking every weekend. So if you are considering booking ERF for your wedding, DO IT! Do it now! You will not regret it. I highly recommend at least checking this venue out!

This was the perfect venue for us! It was a relaxed atmosphere. The food was great, although the pretzel bites were a little hard - but maybe that was just because I didn't get one while they were hot! That's quite literally my only complaint. Jennay was so so helpful and made sure we had all the details covered so they day went smooth. I would definitely recommend getting the weekend package. I also barely bought any decor because they have some available for you, and the place is already so pretty! It was also very nice that we got access to do our engagement photos on the farm. It's just so picturesque. Our photographer was having a field day there both times! The bonfire was also a big hit at the wedding. There was plenty of space for 70 people to dance, hang out, etc

One of my all-time favorite places to DJ for a reception. It's definitely an entire vibe. The scenery is beautiful and the staff is amazing and fun. I can't wait to perform there again in the future.

Our experience with Emmett Ridge Farm has been nothing short of perfection. The initial tour, just a week after our engagement, was great. Lauren really takes the time to paint a picture of how your wedding with go. We were able to get our first choice of date (10/22/22) due to a cancellation. Initially we were worried that we only have a little over 10 months to plan an entire wedding for 150 guests. Lauren made this all so easy for us. Having her expertise throughout the process and especially during the wedding made everything flow better than we expected. The ceremony site is lovely, we had a visit from the cows at the fence line during the ceremony that helped keep the tears at bay. We opted for the tractor ride for photos, the beauty of the property in fall aside, it was great to just soak it all in before the party started. Cocktail hour was a hit for our guests, the charcuterie board was very popular. The food was excellent, bar selection was plentiful and the pours were proper too. We decided to allow kids at our wedding and this property handles it better than we could have imagined. There is room for them to run around, check out the animals, make smores and let the parents enjoy the evening. The wrap around porch let our guests mingle while not being confined to the dance floor. I really feel like the whole venue is what made our day absolutely perfect. I can't say enough about how happy we are. Thank you Jeremy and Lauren!

Helping my oldest daughter plan and execute her wedding was an emotional experience. Not only is it challenging to see your first baby grow up and get married but when she chooses to plan and arrange everything on her own it tends to become a little overwhelming.
We visited 3 farm style venues right after her engagement. When we arrived at Emmett Ridge Farms my husband recognized that years ago he had played golf here when it was Lindale Golf Course. Lauren and Jeremy greeted us at the door and it felt like they were inviting us into their home. Jeremy walked us into the bar/lounge/living room area. He offered us a beverage and welcomed us. They told us a bit about their purpose and how they started. They asked my daughter about her vision and expectations for her big day.
When we left Maddy was so very confident that she wanted Lauren and Jeremy to be in charge of her day. She was especially grateful to have Jeremy as the officiant. Even her dad was moved and inspired by the visit. He said the environment felt just like an extension of our home. It was so very comfortable and inviting.
Our family is passionate about growing local business and knowing that ERF serves our community and that their farm is a functional part of Clermont county was very important to us. Sharing a farm to table meal with our closest friends and family on this special day was a bonus for sure.
We visited the farm often over the 2 year engagement. Lauren kept us thoroughly informed and on track. Having the option to use their selection of table decor and any props they had available was so convenient and budget friendly.
Jeremy shared with us his requirements to be the officiant. Their views on marriage are wholesome, faith based and intentional. It mirrored our families marriage values. There is just a feeling when you are in the company of good people. The feeling was so strong and we knew right away we had made the right decision.
Rehearsal night was laid back, easy and quick. The wedding day was a ball of nerves for us, but Lauren and Jeremy helped us feel put together and confident as they took the reins and controlled the day with precision and expertise. The more than 8 hour day ran like a fine tuned machine. Everything on time and orderly. Lauren assured us that everything was in their hands and that our jobs were to have the most perfect day. Without question they succeeded 110%.
Several guest expressed to us that the service was the best ceremony they had ever attended. It was so heartfelt, genuine and personal. It was everything that we could’ve asked for or dreamed of and so much more.
I would highly recommend choosing Lauren and Jeremy Boswell at Emmett Ridge farms to check off all of your wedding day boxes. I assure you that it will be the best decision you make.

Emmett Ridge was an amazing place to host our wedding! From the first meeting they were so warm and easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, they made sure everything ran smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was amazing and the guests told us multiple times how much fun they had. This venue is an amazing value and we would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, low-stress wedding day!

I had the absolute best day of my life here. Working with Lauren and Jeremy was so amazing!! They were there every step of the way and helped to calm us on the day. Despite the weather we endured they did everything to make sure we still had everything we wanted. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us:)

If you haven’t checked out Emmett Ridge Farm, I cannot recommend them enough! They are so much more than a beautiful farm venue! Lauren and Jeremy do an absolutely astonishing job. From start to finish of planning and the day-of they help out so much with everything. From setting up tables, keeping the night going as planned, and many other things, they went above and beyond!! Along with this, the communication is great, and they will do everything to make sure your special day goes perfectly, I promise! The family as a whole blew me away with their warming and welcoming manners for myself and all our guests, they made us all feel right at home throughout the entire wedding! Their farm/venue is breathtakingly beautiful, so say goodbye to buying excessive decorations because you truly need none. They have so much to offer and I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else but there. Everything was perfect, and all of the guests have been fumbled for words to describe how beautiful and nice it all was!
I also need to brag about how amazing their in-house catering is! They are raising substanable, pasture raised pork, beef and chicken and bring a true farm to table experience for your special day! The food was absolutely delicious! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Emmett Ridge Farm is also a one stop venue as they can provide in-house catering, DJ services, bartending, officiant, local bakery, local florist, etc. I could go on and on forever, so do yourself a favor and go check them out

My husband and I got married at this BEAUTIFUL venue on October 3rd, 2020. This review is a long time in the making, but I will say it’s worth every penny. The first moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we knew it was the venue for us. Jeremy and Lauren were amazing during every single the step of the planning process. The venue building itself promotes a unique environment for mingling and creating new connections.
My husband and I would get married here 20 times again ❤️

We had the most amazing fall wedding here at the farm. The owners Jeremy and Lauren made it stress free and went above and beyond to make it magical. From rounding up stubborn Highland cattle for our photos to making a delicious homemade farm feast for our guests. (They Continue to rave about to this day!) Jeremy was our officiant which was a huge blessing and convenient. He met with us prior and made our ceremony so personal and memorable. It got chilly at night and the bonfire gave the reception a warm cozy atmosphere. The money we spent was well spent and went way further then we could have excepted. It was a dream wedding for us. The venue can hold a large group or a more intimate group. Lauren and Jeremy were always responsive during the process and Lauren has such great ideas and most of the decor you could need for the reception. I ask my husband time to time if he wants to get married he smiles because we wish we could rewind that moment and relive it❤️ If your looking for an affordable beautiful wedding venue that is almost all inclusive this is it. The farmhouse is huge and there plenty of room for seating and dancing on the deck. Photo ops are everywhere!

We had a great experience having our wedding at Emmett Ridge Farm. Lauren and Jeremy were flexible and easy to work with throughout planning and on the day of the wedding. The farm was ideal for an outdoor ceremony and had many spots for pictures. The farmhouse has many areas to enjoy the reception whether guests want to dance, play games out with a bonfire, or hang out on the deck. The taco bar for dinner was amazing. We highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge Farm and it was everything we could have asked for. It ended up being a beautiful day so we loved that our guests could be inside and outside to enjoy the weather. There was even a bonfire going for when it cooled down that evening☺️ We decided on the taco bar for dinner and it was delicious. Everything was set up/cleaned up for us. All we had to do was enjoy!!! We would highly recommend Emmett Ridge Farm and plan on using this venue again for future anniversary parties!
