I attended a wedding at [recently, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, but what really stood out to me was how easy and convenient the parking was. There were plenty of spots available, and the signage made it super simple to find the right area. It made arriving and getting settled so much more relaxed, which is not always the case at events like this. Definitely a great touch that added to the overall stress-free vibe of the day!

idified after meeting Megan and touring the entire venue! It was important to us to have a venue where we could get married and have our reception at the same place, have enough space for a large wedding (yet feel personable), and be able to get ready there the morning of our big day. The Farms at Woodend Springs checked every box and then some! I knew we made the right choice each time we told our vendors this was our venue because the response was "WE LOVE THAT PLACE!" every single time!
We loved that the venue had a list of recommended vendors to help with our planning process. Megan also offered a wedding coordinator well known to the venue that was extremely helpful for the rehearsal and day of. The venue also has a list of rental items available that are beautiful and add some special touches to the space.
We couldn't have dreamt of a better place to get married. We were able to have our ceremony outdoors, have cocktail hour on the veranda, and then move our reception inside which was our exact vision!
Megan and her team consistently professional throughout the planning process, very quick to communicate via email, and available the entire day of our wedding as we set up to help answer any questions and provide guidance. The Farms at Woodend Springs team made a bride feel stress free the day of and I cannot say thank you to them enough!!

There’s many areas and spaces to use that worked great for my wedding- the outdoor ceremony space, the veranda for cocktail hour and the inside for our reception of about 250 people. We loved having everything in one space to prevent guests from driving between events. Two major bonuses are the kitchen space downstairs and the suites for the bride and groom upstairs. We were able to get there and get ready all in one space, again preventing wasting time driving! If there was anything I would change, it would be better street lighting as guests are leaving the Bonner Springs area and for more hotels nearby for guests. However, neither of things are the venue’s responsibility, so overall it was great!

If you are looking for that elegant rustic venue, THIS IS IT. It was the perfect cross for my husband and I when we wanted both of our tastes in our big day. The amount of rental items available and the options you have to bring in any outside vendor you want were our selling points! We loved that we were able to cater to our wants of the big day by bringing in whichever vendors. Most of our vendors had already worked with Megan and The Farms in the past and had nothing but great things to say in regards to being a vendor there. We're so thankful for the support from the venue we received during many changes in this COVID season and that they pulled our day off with plenty of sanitary measures and precautions to help keep our guests safe. ious for getting ready and we were able to o everything on site for the entire day without having to stress about traveling etc. The staff member on site for our day was Lisa and she ran around making sure everything was perfect from keeping the temperature cool in the suites, to driving Grandpa around in the golf cart she was AMAZING. Then Megan was super responsive to all of our emails and helped us manage our big day during the COVID pandemic. We were like many other couples who had to reschedule and they made the process flawless even sending us vendor information with discounts to help us make our “new date” perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Not to mention they are super affordable for such a large venue, you won’t be disappointed with their services!

Megan also did a great job of communicating with us at timely intervals during the year leading up to our wedding. The venue is gorgeous and the bridal suite was perfect for getting ready, and had enough room for myself, 7 bridesmaids and my mother and MIL all to get ready without being too crowded. We came upon this venue and to be honest, it’s a blessing Noah’s left because we loved this venue even more! They have beautiful white shiplap walls and chandeliers. It’s basically a blank (yet beautiful) canvas for a bride and groom to work with and make their dream wedding come to life. We had a winter wedding and used a lot of candles and flowers and the venue looked so beautiful! We received SO many compliments. We had a lot of guests from South KC/MO and no issues with getting there/distance. Uber goes there too. The bridal and grooms rooms are big and roomy. My husband is big on customer service and the owners were all amazing! We really liked them from the time we met them, felt comfortable and confident with them. We rented our linens through them and they helped us set up a floor plan that I loved. I put my dance floor by the front doors versus the middle and it worked great! They also have a beautiful spot for outdoor weddings but I got married in February so I did reception only but that’s a perk for brides looking for an outdoor venue. Can’t say enough great things!!

they were just as quick to get back to us! All our communication leading up to the event was quick and smooth. I felt like I didn't even have to reach out to them with questions or concerns, they were on top of it.
When the day came everything I pictured came to life. The space was incredible, more than enough for our 275 crowd. I felt like I didn't even have to decorate because the place was beautiful as is. Both the inside and outdoors worked perfectly for pictures and our guest couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous it was.
I would highly recommend this venue and their team. They were beyond a pleasure to work with and if I could do it all over again wouldn't change a thing!

They helped the day go worry free and so smoothly that it made us the parents and wedding party enjoy the love and celebration of a sweet couple. We truly loved working with the staff and the facilities are outstanding. At the end of the night as we all reminisced and said WOW what a perfect day, none of that would've happened better at any other place....

ocation and it is extremely convenient for guests. The beautiful outdoor area was perfect for photos! Our hair and makeup artists said the bridal suite was the largest and comfiest they have ever worked in. Megan was quick to respond to questions, always made us feel comfortable throughout the process, and even calmed us down when we had to think of a rain back up plan (didn't have to use it, luckily!) :) Megan even worked with my uncle who wanted to surprise us with margaritas for our guests for cocktail hour and stored the alcohol in her own home for weeks! The staff day of were helpful and even communicated with us after the event to ensure we didn't leave anything behind, etc. You would be missing out if you did not go see this new venue for yourself!

They made us feel confident that all of our details were important and helped us work through logistics with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about it! Our vendors and especially our guests were wowed with this new, beautiful gem we have in the Kansas City area! I would highly recommend it! Thank you to the Farms for helping to make my daughter's wedding day a lovely, memorable one!

The venue is beautiful and can be used for any kind of style you want your wedding/reception to be. I did not have my ceremony at The Farms but I think it’s terrific that they have space available for couples who wish to do so!
There is plenty of parking for guests and the coveted outdoor patio was perfect! People went out there to cool down and hang out on occasion.
This place was hands down, the perfect spot for our families and friends to celebrate my and my husband’s big day! I can’t imagine having it any other way!

Specifically, we wanted the venue to be flipped between the ceremony and reception, and they accomplished it in under 30 minutes - very impressive! Overall, our experience was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a barn venue for their wedding!

The venue itself has beautiful, chic farmhouse vibes. The classic pieces and design provide the perfect blank slate for decorating the reception of your dreams.
There is room for larger weddings, a big dance floor, nice bathrooms, and multiple bars. We really appreciated that we could hire our own food and alcohol service!

multiple weddings before ours. They did set up and break down of just the tables/chairs/linens only. They didn't assist with any decorating. You can pay to set up the day before, which might be worth it. I paid extra to get in at 7:30 to use the bridal suite upstairs which was nice so we could get ready and set up at the same time. ***You can bring in your own caterer and Liquor! It was a great savings.
