The Fernseed is a plant and flower shop with two retail locations in Tacoma. As a member of the Slow Flowers movement, we are committed to sourcing 60-90% of our stems from local flower farmers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
We offer a simplified menu of à la carte wedding flowers in four different color palettes, available year-round. Our signature garden-style bouquets and arrangements celebrate the natural beauty of our region’s flowers and highlight what’s in season. Our wedding flowers are available for in-store pickup only at our storefront in Tacoma; we do not do on-site installation or delivery. That said, we also do not require a minimum purchase! You are free to build your own wedding floral package based on your unique needs and celebration style.

Everything about working with The Fernseed was so easy and seamless - from the transparent prices, to the open conversations about the creative vision, to thorough answers to logistical questions, to day of communication for pick up and, of course, execution. The florals were absolutely stunning, they were even able to add on custom items to complete our vision for the day. Highly recommend!
They don't deliver to venues, the florals are pickup only, but they arrange everything beautifully and provide everything you need to set the florals up at your venue. We ordered the arbor arrangement, foliage bouquet, boutonniere, head table spray, chair bundles and loose stems for the brides hair - 10/10
We had the most memorable bridal bouquet and boutonniere made for our wedding at Fernseed! Juliet helped us through the flower process and she was amazing with communication and questions! She was also able to coordinate the colors that I had for my wedding and, even added touches that I wouldn't have thought of before. There's nothing like breathing in fresh flowers and greenery when you're walking down the aisle. Overall, I would definitely recommend Fernseed for wedding flowers. You will not be disappointed!
