The Field Club of Omaha

Field Club of Omaha was the perfect place to host our daughter's wedding. Caitlin Mell, the Event Director, at FCO is prompt, professional and close to perfect! In fact the entire staff at FCO was fun to work with. The food was delicious! Our family grew up at FCO and it felt like home.

We had the best experience at Field Club. Caitlin was so great to work with and really put me at ease. If you're looking for a venue that will make your wedding day stress-free, this is the place. Plus, the venue is stunning!

The Field Club was everything we ever wanted for a wedding & more! When looking for a venue we wanted a place where we could have an outdoor ceremony with a great backup plan (they have a beautiful, large covered porch) in case of bad weather. We also wanted an indoor reception space that fit around 200 people. We found all of that at the Field Club plus an amazing wedding coordinator. Caitlin was the best when it came to planning. She was always quick to get back to my emails and had so much knowledge and experience that I knew our day would be everything we planned for it to be. Her and the Field Club team did everything from set up, to working the reception and taking down everything at the end of the night. It made for such a stress-free day and I couldn't be happier with how great our day turned out!

Seriously could not have been a better experience. They do it all from setup to tear down; food, bartenders and servers. They have a large menu to choose for food options which you try beforehand and you can even bring in a family recipe if you wanted something super special to serve your guests.

My wedding here was amazing! The wedding coordinator was awesome, the whole venue was reasonably priced, and the venue is gorgeous. Everything went so smoothly. If I had to do it over again I would choose Field Club!

Having our wedding reception at Field Club was one of our BEST decisions in the wedding planning process. Caitlin, the event coordinator, is absolutely amazing and so great to work with. She was incredibly helpful in the planning process and the day of our event. The layout at Field Club is flexible and was able to comfortably accommodate our 200 guests. We loved the veranda at Field Club which allowed our guests to enjoy being outside without having to rely on the weather for a completely outdoor event. The food was so delicious and everyone really enjoyed it!

Field Club was amazing start to finish. Every question I had was answered quickly. Everything they said they were going to do was done beyond my expectations. Caitlin and her whole team are the best.

We had our wedding reception at Field Club back in September 2018, and we cannot recommend it higher. The comfortable indoor space with attached covered wrap-around veranda means that nobody misses out on the action. They are somewhat pricey, but you get soooo much more bang for your buck compared to other reception venues that we looked at. But the real star of the show is Caitlin, director of sales and catering. She was with us every step of the way to perfectly set up the room and the events for the night. She made the process a whole lot easier than it would have been otherwise, and was present the night of to make sure it all went smoothly. Overall, Field Club and Caitlyn were a big part in making our reception the perfect event that it turned out to be!

Our reception in July at The Field Club was amazing! Planning the wedding was very easy considering how helpful Caitlin was. The food was great, we had a burger and chicken sandwich buffet with macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and salad! We also had an open bar with wine, beer and champagne. The venue is very affordable and we had around 240 people. Caitlin and the FC staff set up all of our decor and took it down for us to pick up the next day. She also coordinated with all of the vendors to have the set up run smoothly! The balcony was a great bonus, and we had guests enjoying the outside and beautiful view throughout the night. We would definitely recommend a wedding at this beautiful and historic Omaha gem.

Caitlin at Field Club was so helpful in planning and helping us with our wedding! We had both the ceremony and reception there and it was perfect! She was so helpful and great at answering my questions. She is so easy to work with and Field Club is a gorgeous place! All the details were perfect for the day! My husband and I loved having our wedding at Field Club!

Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic, Caitlin helped so much through the whole planning and the day of and everyone on the staff were always happy to help. The venue is gorgeous and so much comes with it! You won't go wrong choosing this venue!

The field club was super great to work with! Caitlin was alway amazingly helpful and made sure we thought of everything and on the day of she made sure it went perfect! I'm very pleased that we went with the field club, the food was delicious and very customizable. Another bonus is that they had a lot of decor included!!! Only thing I was disappointed with was we were allowed to go on the course to take photos the day of which I thought we were going to be able to, and I was told we would be the only event that day besides some golfers but there ended up being a tournament and a dinner on the day of our wedding which made things kind of chaotic but it still ended up going very well.

Everything was going great on my wedding day until we arrived at the FC and I immediate knew it was warm inside. I asked my P.A. to address the temperature situation. It was NOT at a temperature prepped for 150 warm bodies in Omaha summer temps and humidity, it should be meat locker cold. In addition their veranda doesn't lend well to keeping it cool, but all the more reason to prep the space that day. To make matters worse, the worst storm in 40 years blew into Omaha and that blew out the A/C completely. We had to open windows during dinner. I am not sure why the back up generator didn't work. I was extremely warm and I was so hot, I had to put ice down my back dress. Sadly, I was wiping my face at dinner as were many of my guests who ended up leaving early. What I had envisioned as a wonderful night turned not so great. They were using the storm as an excuse but the space was already warm when we got there. They don't have a strong enough system for a space with a veranda where you know doors will be opened in the summer. In addition, I wasn't offered any food to go---I hardly ate because I was so warm. I had to ask my the rest of my wedding cake to go that was sitting on the table. I happened to have a full table not show, so I know they had additional food and I was not offered anything. Very rude. Lastly, ask to see photos or layouts of the space, they advertise for many more people than can really fit comfortable. I had to have 2 table in the back where the gifts should have been. Ended up being really cramped. What I hoped to be a classy wedding was not so classy. Avoid the Field Club in the summer if you want decent A/C.

LOVED having our ceremony and reception at the field club. There's a reason people keep mentioning how wonderful Caitlin was to work with and how great the staff were! She really was SO great to work with. My fiance and I were paying for everything for our wedding out of our own pocket, so wanted to get the best experience possible without having to spend thousands and thousands of dollars. We opted for a Sunday afternoon hors d'oeuvres/desserts only wedding to help cut costs, and Caitlin was so supportive and never once even showed the slightest hint of inconvenience or condescension (which so many of the other vendors we looked into did!). The FC staff did literally all of the setup and tear down, and you get so much included in the cost of room rental (Caitlin even let me bring in most of my decorations in earlier in the week with a list of where I wanted them and she already has those set up when we arrived the day of!). I've told a few people what our total cost ended up being for both our ceremony and reception (including food and bar costs), and people's jaws literally drop. It is a naturally beautiful space (we had our ceremony on veranda, and reception in the ballroom), and you get everything you could need included. For decorations, I basically threw flowers on everything and called it a day! The space downstairs for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready in is also awesome, and when we were there we also had the sweetest lady manning the bar downstairs. The Field Club truly is a hidden gem in Omaha, and I will recommend it and sing of their praises basically to anyone who will listen! I want to keep rambling just so I feel confident people know how great they really are! But for everyone else's sake I'll cut myself off ha. But for your sake, look into the Field Club!! So worth it.

Caitlin, Field Club's event coordinator, was wonderful to work with in preparation for our reception. She made the process easy and smooth- helping us to maintain our keep it simple style. The Field Club is a beautiful venue with hardworking and attentive staff who worked to make the day/evening flow smoothly. The ballroom was set up before we even arrived the morning of our wedding and looked fantastic. Family and guests are still raving about the food -stating repeatedly it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. We were blessed with a beautiful day and were able to make use of the veranda to include a kid friendly area. We could not have been happier with our choice!

Caitlin was amazing, she made everything so easy! The space was set up perfectly, we got tons of compliments on the food, and the staff went above and beyond during the event! I would highly recommend checking out this venue. You don't have to be a member to have an event here!

We had our wedding there yesterday and it was absolutely perfect!! We are very happy with the field club, the venue itself is gorgeous, their staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is also very good! We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue! Their director of event Caitlin is very helpful! She is very knowledgeable and patient and super fun to work with! She even helped us load our decorations the day after the wedding! I cannot say enough good things about the field club and I am so happy we got married there! I'd highly recommend the field club if you are looking for a venue, you will be in great hands!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Field Club or Caitlin.Everything went perfectly! They accommodated our last minute requests and changes. On top of amazing service, the venue itself is beautiful! Our wedding was on the golf course, we had cocktail hour on the veranda overlooking the course and the Ballroom is timeless. Do yourself a favor and choose Field Club for a stress-free and beautiful wedding!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Field Club or Caitlin Jones who coordinated everything for us. I know that there are always events going on over the summer, but Caitlin made me feel like our wedding was the only project she was working on. Everything went seamlessly! They accommodated our last minute requests and changes, and even found our cake topper that I had forgotten. On top of amazing service from the Caitlin and the whole staff, the venue itself is stunning! Our wedding was on the course which was lush and green, we had drinks on the huge veranda overlooking the course that comfortably fit all 160 of our guests, and the hall is simple and elegant. Easily one of the best wedding decisions we made was choosing the Field Club

Absolutely beautiful!!! Many things are included in the price such as linens, napkins, china, tables, servers, bartenders, dance floor, and all of those things that can easily add up at other venues! Very reasonable for being a country club and very competitive with other places in Omaha. Caitlin was fantastic to work with and made it so much easier!! The Veranda really made the space even better and my guests loved being able to go outside, too! The day was beautiful and I am so happy I chose the Field Club!

We loved the Field Club. We had our ceremony outside and reception in the ballroom. Caitlin was great and so helpful. It was a stress free experience. The food and venue were fantastic.

Caitlin Jones at The Field Club did the BEST job! From the planning process to the final details everything was perfect. When we all arrived at the reception my husband and I were greeted by the GM--the staff was so attentive to us and our guests. I can't say enough good things about this venue!!!

My wedding couldnt have been better!! Dawn was amazing!! She took care of everything!!! For any bride that wants the perfect wedding, definitely use Field Club!!!

The Field Club was a wonderful location for our reception. The food was wonderful. Drinks were plentiful and Dawn was superb! She is friendly, approachable and so easy to work with. I didn't have a wedding planner but Dawn helped me pull it all together.

All I can say is WOW! The place was beautiful, the service fabulous, and the price right! It really was excellent. Food was great and Dawn who is the event coordinator was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone! All the guests and family commented also on how wonderful everything was.

we had a bridal shower here. we had about 75 people or so and it was awesome! very nice, food was awesome and plenty of room!
