About this vendor
The Figge Art Museum is a unique wedding venue located in Davenport, IA. This gleaming, luminous glass building overlooking the Mississippi River was designed by David Chipperfield, one of Britain's most renowned architects. It offers a stunning stage for any event, and promises a celebration that will stand out.
The opaque and translucent surfaces on Figge Art Museum's exterior are its own work of art. Inside, the Grand Lobby boasts a dramatic open floor plan, high ceilings, terrazzo flooring, a contemporary lounge, and striking river views. Your guests will celebrate among the Midwest's finest art collections and world-class traveling exhibitions. If desired, you may opt to expand your party outdoors, to the terrace on the south or the plaza on the north. You also have the option of full museum rental, which allows your guests time to stroll the galleries and special exhibitions. If you're planning a more intimate gathering, consider the Dining Room and Bar. A neutral color scheme and modern decor make the dining room easy to transform to suit any wedding theme. This intimate space is the ideal location for rehearsal dinners, luncheons, or gift-opening brunch. It also features large windows offering spectacular views of the river. The adjacent bar has a relaxed lounge feel, and can be stocked with your favorite top-shelf beverages to meet the needs of all your guests.
The Certified Wedding and Event Coordinator at the Figge Art Museum has approximately 15 years of experience, and will be there to provide guidance through the planning process and be a point of contact the day-of to make sure your wedding and reception at the Figge Art Museum is a beautiful experience for you and your guests. In addition, the venue offers a wide range of event rentals, including tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware. For your convenience, the team will provide setup and cleanup services, and your guests can even enjoy discounted rates at select nearby hotels. nd tore down everything for my family, leaving only the loading of the decorations into the vehicles for us. The food was AMAZING and they even prepared extra food for my husband and I to eat later on! Dave worked so well with us as we were planning this wedding from 200 miles away. He responded to emails and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride that is looking to have their reception in the Quad Cities. It was worth every penny we spent.
