If I could do everything over again for my wedding, I would still, without a doubt, pick the Fillmore. Having our wedding at such a fun, spacious, and truly unique venue made my hu...sband and me so happy. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how awesome the space was, how it was unlike any venue they’d been to, and how fun all of the visual elements were—we had a slideshow playing on the TVs throughout the night, our photo was on the marquee on the outside so anyone passing by could see it, and the band played on the actual stage, which they were super excited about. We also converted the VW van into a photo booth area and took some unreal photos in front of the LIVE sign in the entryway.
We delayed our wedding for 2 years because of COVID. Throughout the entire process, Genevieve and Karen were helpful, responsive, and came up with really creative ideas. They were supportive and listened to us when we had questions, and they stuck it out with us even when things got tricky. (On a separate note, my mom and I are personally obsessed with Genevieve.) On the wedding day itself, many of our guests (we had about 200 people) commented on how they weren’t nervous about COVID because the room was so spacious, the ceilings were so high, etc…which was SUCH a relief since we had a handful of immunocompromised people there who were apprehensive about coming.
Bottom line: The Fillmore is SUCH A VIBE, there’s nowhere else like it in Philly, and I’m so glad I got to have my wedding there. Oh, and the staff is excellent and a bunch of pros.
