She took care of all our rentals, scheduling and all the behind details you couldn't even imagine. On top of all the things leading up, Jen was an absolute angel on our wedding day. TFTEP team seamlessly set up an amazing and stunning ceremony space, while also flipping the entire space in just an hour to look completely transformed for our reception. Jen and her team took care of everything the day of and made it so myself, my family and my bridal party didn't have a single worry. it was the best feeling being surrounded by my bridal party and my mom especially without the anxiety of what was happening while we were trying to get ready. The day ran so smoothly knowing Jen and her team had the final details under control. When my cake fell Jen and Karen at the Hilton ran to Whole Foods and came back with the cutest impromptu cake so my husband and I had something to cut. Although her entire team was great, we didn't meet them until the day of our wedding, and I loved that we worked exclusively with Jen through the entire planning process. She is also creative in coming up with ways to wow your guests, like a champaign swing, a round bar (which was a stunner), roaming cocktails, ombre seating assignment board and so much more. She keeps her cool and yours, too. At the rehearsal dinner, it down-poured. But she kept everyone calm and organized, switching things up to accommodate the weather. Then on the day of the wedding, it was so hot and humid and her family was out helping us with chairs and setup. She gives her all to make your day incredibly special. Not only was I blown away when I entered my reception venue but I continue to receive compliments on almost every aspect of my wedding and reception. I can honestly say that I would not change a thing. Jennifer and her team are wonderful to work with and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! In addition, Jennifer ended up with an unexpected injury while setting up for my reception. Her team was present to make sure things went off without a hitch and she still convinced her husband to make a stop at our reception to wish us "congratulations" following her emergency room visit...cast and all. That's dedication.

She was able to bring clarity as we created a tented spring wedding. She saved us much more than she charged us by directing us to competitive vendors. Let me repeat that information for all to hear; SHE SAVES YOU MONEY! If you sent her an email you heard right back, if you send her a text you heard from her immediately. Unlimited phone calls and communication are her policy. She listened to the bride and groom and really brought it together in a truly outstanding way. Also, she had great suggestions, endless energy and often times she just said let me handle that issue. I felt 10 days out that every single detail was nailed down. That translated into both the bride and her family to stop and really enjoy the moments. Those few days around the wedding were just plain joy-- no stress. planner. I had very particular ideas and thought it could potentially be a waste of money. I then decided a day of planner to help pull all the details together would be a nice option. The first few planners I met with completely under-whelmed me. I had lost hope that anyone would be able to pull my vision together, then I met Jennifer. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting Jennifer, my mom and I both knew we couldn't have this wedding without her involved. And not just for "day of" but for the entire planning process. For those of you who have planned a wedding know that after the excitment of the ring, finding venues and putting budgets together can cause some stress. Jennifer took all that stress away immediately and put the excitement back into planning the wedding. Jennifer and I had so much fun planning the wedding. She has a wonderful way of taking your vision to the next level. Incorporating everything you thought you wanted plus adding some unique ideas to make the day feel like it's all yours, not just a replica of someone elses wedding. Initially, I was relieved by the thought that Jennifer would buffer any stressful details the day of the wedding. While this was true, she did that the whole planning process. Any time I had a question or felt stressed she was there to talk to me. Even if that was at 10pm on a weeknight:) Everything the day of was spectacular from the decor to the vendors running smoothly. I never thought of one thing that day other than having fun and enjoying my new husband and my wedding guests. I would (and have) recommend Jennifer to anyone that is engaged and wants to have their day go perfectly. At my first meeting, I was truly overwhelmed as we were just six months from our wedding and we had a number of key issues needing attention. Within two weeks, we had all our major vendors confirmed and her recommendations were ALL spot on and every one of them delivered beyond our expectations as well as receiving some nice deals. Jennifer has an amazing ability to hear what isn't said (picking up on the personality of the couple I believe) and delivering visuals which was invaluable to me. She had a genuine interest in us and our desires for our wedding day. The day of the wedding she provided a detailed and comprehensive timeline and seemed to be everywhere at once - she was on top of every detail. She also made certain to know all key players of the day (i.e., family & close friends) and made them feel we'd all been family and friends for years. At the end of the night, she collected the rental items and returned them for us the following day. As well as housing our unused alcohol & wine at her own home until we returned from our honeymoon! While I'm sure there are other great planners out there, I believe you'd be hard pressed to find one who compares to The Finer Things Event Planning. Jennifer and her team are simply amazing. P.S. What I didn't mention is she can also be a little bulldog when need be - - she always has her bride's best interest at heart.

Further, she understood that we wanted our wedding to be a collaborative effort that would be perfect not only for us, but for our parents. Jennifer always enthusiastically embraced any idea that interested any of us, no matter how difficult it might have been to execute, and managed to somehow combine the very different preferences of five people. It didn't take me long to completely trust her excellent judgment and taste. Second, Jennifer is extremely resourceful. She has connected herself to a network of very talented vendors and was easily able to direct us to those she thought would suit our style and budget. We saved a lot of valuable time hunting for and interviewing vendors simply because we immediately loved every vendor to which she directed us. One of Jennifer's best selling points when we first interviewed her was her promise to save us more money than the fee we paid her; she was more than able to deliver on this promise. As a result of her connections, we negotiated far better deals on vendors and products than we would otherwise have been able to. Finally, Jennifer truly cared about making our wedding day the best day of our lives. She wanted to focus on the details so that my husband and I could focus on committing our lives to one another. Despite planning numerous other weddings at the same time she was planning ours, she made us feel as though we were her sole focus 24 hours a day, seven days a week (literally). She went above and beyond and helped us plan not only our big day, but our entire wedding weekend, including coordinating hotel arrangements and a morning-after brunch and working with my mother-in-law in California to organize every detail of the rehearsal dinner. Not only did Jennifer's labors of love result in a wedding celebration our friends and family are still raving about, we felt that we gained a friend in the process.
