The Firehouse DJs

So thankful to have Pat and the Firehouse DJ's as our entertainment - The atmosphere can't be beat and the photobooth is without a doubt a guest favorite. Would highly recommend Firehouse DJ's to anyone looking for entertainment at their event - Never fails to impress!!

Patrick and the crew do an absolute amazing job. Music was awesome and kept people up on the dance floor all night! The photo booth.... if you have any doubts about, RETHINK IT. THE PHOTO BOOTH WAS AMAZING! It was the biggest hit of the wedding. It was definitely well worth it.

The Firehouse DJ provided a great time for all. He added in some fun games for the guests and kept the crowd entertained. We had a small intimate crowd and we had fun and danced until the end. Great time for all!

We've hired Patrick to DJ our school prom for the past three years and he is fantastic! He goes above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional experience. Their photo booths are also fantastic. You will not be disappointed if you hire Firehouse DJ!

Firehouse DJs are the best. Responded immediately to my request to use them/ Came early to set up and was ready to go before the guests arrived. I would highly recommend them.

Can i give negative stars? I’ve held off on doing the review in the event of a follow up conversation with this vendor. However, after 2 months of radio silence, here we go. Firehouse DJs was booked on my behalf through my wedding package. I met who I presume to be the owner several months in advance. Seemed like a great guy, knows how to dj weddings and not spend the whole time making it awkward. Great! Sign me up for that. Everything was going great. I started doing my music research and was ready to roll. I met with him and another dj two days prior to my wedding just to go over the details once more. I thought that this was the most amazing personal touch - really making sure that I didn’t stress about music at all on our big day. We discussed the music that I wanted played at each portion of the night. I am a control freak, and I’m really into music. So this was important to me. Now we get to the rehearsal. BOTH djs are there so I think nothing of it. The main guy is running the show for the entrances into the reception. HE is the one saying “ok then this song will play” and pronouncing the names of my wedding party. The other dj is in the corner on his laptop silently. We wrap up the rehearsal and everything seems great. Fast forward to wedding day... My wedding party is ready to go but we’re having some technical difficulties outside with the music. OK no big deal. A few minutes won’t kill me. Well, I guess it was more than a few minutes. My husband said he didn’t think I’d ever make it down the aisle. Otherwise, ceremony is fine. I can live with it. We get to the reception.. buckle up, ladies and gentlemen.. it’s a bumpy ride. The dj I got for my reception was the one who barely spoke to me. NOT who I was expecting. In my head, I’m thinking “ya know what? This is fine. He was in the meeting and knows what I want”. I should’ve known better. He played nothing that I had specifically asked for.. well, no. Not true. I asked for ONE song to be played because it is an important song in my relationship... he played it while my ENTIRE WEDDING WAS OUTSIDE WATCHING FIREWORKS! The music kept cutting out so there were long periods of silence where my guests chanted “play a song! Play a song!” He totally knew how to kill a party. Luckily, my bridesmaids could see how angry I was that this guy was ruining my night. So they gave him lists of songs to play. I mean, he still screwed it up royally, but I got to hear some music? I was completely pissed off about this. To make it worse, I was contacted on my honeymoon to say “hope you enjoyed yourself and congratulations!” I was so aggravated that I received this while I was on my honeymoon, that I was entirely honest, and provided a time when I could discuss this further upon my return to the country. Haven’t heard anything yet. I’m sure I’ll hear something now. Don’t book with them, unless you’re booking a funeral. I’m sure they couldn’t kill the vibe there.

We booked Firehouse DJ (Patrick) for our wedding in June. He met with us before our wedding to go over details and gave helpful tips regarding the pace of our wedding individualized to fit us as a couple/family. We have a fun family and many “dancers”, however, I saw people on the dance floor for HOURS who I did not expect see there for more than a single dance. At the end of the night, we had many more guests there then we expected to see and everyone had so much fun. Thanks for keeping everyone on the dance floor all night Patrick!
