In 2009, Chef Matt, a native of Port St. Lucie began receiving requests from locals to provide their events with his renowned southern-style comfort food. Naming his business The Flavored Fork, he began catering to parties of all varieties, serving sumptuous dishes prepared in his kitchen at home. After years of hard work, Matt has now opened his first professional catering kitchen, where he is ready to create your dream wedding-day menu.
The Flavored Fork is available to cater to weddings throughout St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Palm Beach, and Brevard County. Offering a selection of themed menus, Chef Matt invites couples to pick the perfect dishes for their once-in-a-lifetime occasion. From pollo caprese to slow-cooked marinated pork shoulder, they prepare each dish using the finest ingredients to create dining experiences full of fun and flavor.

ogs" for the bride. While we were about to go outside and take pictures, a server came up to my sweet husband and I and gave us our shrimp. As the wedding went by so very fast, I remembered I didn't get my appetizer. THEN they brought me to the fridge and Matt had 4 large trays of left overs with a ton of my favorite appetizer set aside for us. Chef Matthew replies back quickly, he is LOVED by every single vendor I picked out for the wedding, and he is so wonderful to talk to. Chef Matthew, you made our day so amazing! ornbread for 145 Guests (approx. 140 showed) – Buffet Style. The Brisket was absolutely wonderful! The appetizers were good and plentiful.
However, one of our main concerns when booking with Chef Matthew was that there was enough food! There was NOT. We were assured that there would not only be enough food, but leftovers too! Some guests told us they got decent portions, while most guests complained their portions were too small. 5 Cheese Mac was cold, Salad was not kept plentiful, Cornbread was OK. Note: Sterno or warming trays were not used.
Some additional problems included: Cooking for OTHER events during our event, No Bride & Groom plates for after event, early breakdown of buffet table after last table called. Note: Only cornbread and salad were left and not made available to guests.
