We were married on February 3, 2023 and The Flour Child girls could not have given us a better wedding cake! For our wedding, The Flour Child provided us with an affordable option that suited us perfectly. After our individual consultation, the girls from The Flour Child created our dream wedding cake near perfect to our vision. We provided them a picture of the cake we desired and they delivered it to us with every guarantee it would be what we envisioned. AND IT WAS! Not only did they paint the exact picture onto our cake that we wanted, but they enhanced it with embellishments and beauty. We chose a two-tiered cake with a wedge just for us to cut. We wouldn’t have to save/freeze an entire tiered cake for our anniversary because they will provide a fresh made anniversary cake! Our personal cake was also painted with our theme and decorated with buttercream to look and feel like a non-artificial cake. Then for our guests (approximately 80), we were able to chose 3 auxiliary cakes in different flavors. Our guests raved about the taste and were asking for more after the wedding! The Flour Child delivered our cake to our venue and set-up our cake topper. They were professional and went above and beyond to provide us with an affordable and beautiful personal cake in addition to the most delicious sheet cakes for guests! Alixe and her team provided an amazing dessert bar for our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with and had so many options to make sure we had a good mix of sweets for everyone. Everything was delicious, from the dessert bars to the cupcakes. We cannot recommend them enough for desserts for you event.

Our wedding cake from The Flour Child was AMAZING! During the design process, we decided to do a faux cake and have four different sheet cakes so the actual "wedding cake" didn't have to be sliced and served. That also allowed us to play with cake flavors and different icings. Honestly, they were the best cakes I have ever eaten! I can't recommend the girls at The Flour Child enough!

If you are at all on the fence about who to select for your cake artist.. let me tell you to stop looking now and hire The Flour Child! The design process was so simply and easy. The tasting was phenomenal. The Cinnamon Roll cake is probably the best cake I've ever tasted. The final result was flawless and gorgeous!! They were priced affordably and it gave us the opportunity to do a cookie table as well - that was also amazing!! I will be ordering from them again, without question!

We chose the Flour Child based on my (now) husband's sister's recommendation. The cakes we sampled were absolutely delicious. When our wedding cake arrived, I was stunned at how it EXACTLY looks like the inspiration photos I provided. With the florals from Everafter Floral Design included, the cake was absolutely stunning. My wedding cake from the Flour Child turned out amazing! They are super affordable which was important to me, as I don't really like cake, so the cake was not the most important part of my day. I did care about how it looked, though, and they did a wonderful job making my vision come to life. The cake was delicious and all of our guests were raving about it!

Undoubtedly, for our wedding, the cake tasting and the cake itself was of top level importance for my husband. His motto for the wedding reception was jokingly steak and cake (we had to have an amazing steak to eat and a scrumptious cake to enjoy, those were his top requirements for the reception). He went in to wedding cake tasting like it was the olympics....but there wasn’t much competition. The Flour Child was the hands down winner, and they left all the other competition in the dust. All three components of their cake were perfect, the cake, filling, and frosting. The perfect trifecta we were looking for. For our wedding cake we chose a marble cake, with real raspberry filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. They took my drawings and created the edible version of them, exactly as I envisioned it. Taking all of our suggestions, but also using their expertise to guide us in the right direction we knew we were in good hands. The cake was scrumptious, looked gorgeous, and had all our guests wanting seconds. Working with the girls at The Flour Child to make our dream wedding cake design a reality, was effortless, fun, and enjoyable. Our cake expectations were exceeded and we can’t wait to try more of what The Flour Child has to offer.

The ladies at Flour Child were so amazing to work with, our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, and to top it all off…it was one of the MOST delicious cakes that we have ever had (many of our wedding guests agreed)!!!!!!

TFC was amazing, and their desserts were a hit at our wedding! They brought my vision of a glitter wedding cake to life, and it was perfect. The chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing were such a guest favorite- many took them home. We opted for lemon bars, brownies, sugar and chocolate chip cookies, as well. Would recommend !

Amazing! My wedding was in October 2020, and we are now in February 2021, I STILL get compliments on my wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful, the taste was perfection. They made my wedding cake vision, come to life. It truly could not of been a better experience. Cookies were also made, and they were so tasty and super cute! My husband and I were just married on October 4, 2020 and we had The Flour Child as our baker. They did a terrific job! They came and set everything up while we were getting ready. We met with them a few months back to taste different cake and icing flavors and talk about what we were thinking for our cake and cupcakes for the guests. It was amazing to see what we had talked about come to life. Our cake was phenomenal! The cupcakes for the guests were delicious! We have gotten so many compliments on how delicious they were! We would recommend them for any type of occasion where you need cake or cookies!

Our cake and cupcakes were exquisite and delicious! The girls at Flour Child matched my vision perfectly. They were so good about communicating with me as I live out of the area. Our order was kind of last minute due to the current circumstances and they were so accommodating!

Flour Child did an amazing job on our wedding cake! I contacted them super last minute, and they were able to create a sample for us to come pick up the next day while we were in town. We changed our wedding colors very last minute and I sent one photo of a cake style we liked and they recreated it so perfectly! We’ve got tons of compliments from our guests about how great our cake tasted, too! We did a red velvet with cream cheese buttercream, it was sooo delicious and fresh.

Getting our wedding cake taken care of was hands down the easiest part of our wedding planning journey, thanks to Alixe and the Flour Child team. Our pumpkin spice "scantily clad" cake was equal parts beautiful and delicious! We went back and forth on how much cake we would need to serve our guests and Alixe was so helpful, giving us a quote for each option we debated between. We're so glad we went with the bigger cake because it was a hit! We can't wait for our first anniversary cake! :)

I am so happy we went with the lovely ladies at the flour child! Thy did a wonderful job with our cake and cupcakes. Literally everyone couldn't believe how good they were! And we had very little leftovers because people went back for seconds for dessert! Our cutting cake was wonderful as well! And it was a wonderful surprise to find that Alixe had put 1 of each kind of cupcake away for us, so we could enjoy our wedding cupcakes the next day. I would highly recommend the flour child to anyone! Not only is their cake fantastic, but the staff is great to work with! We can't wait for our 1 year anniversary cake!

I totally recommend The Flour Child to do your wedding cake, or cupcakes! The tasting went very well and the lady who helped us design the cake was super helpful and patient because we were not 100% sure what we actually wanted. The cost was very reasonable and we even get a free cake on our anniversary! The cake was absolutely delicious and I would definitely buy another cake from here! The Flour Child made my wedding cake and did an unbelievable job. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and everything I could have dreamed of and more. All the bakers were so helpful with perfecting the design of the cake. My guests were floored with how beautiful the cake was, and even happier with how it tasted!! Beautiful and Affordable Cakes! they gave an amazing option of a 3 tier cake - bottom two being faux and the top being the real deal! and a ton of BEAUTIFUL cupcakes!!! They took the time to match colors with me of my blush wedding gown and colors that would go with it and just made them absolutely PERFECT i wish i could post photos on here! The guests loved the cupcakes! They are great! Take some time to get to there quaint shop and enjoy a tasting because truly, it is WELL WORTH IT!

As soon as we did our first tasting with Flour Child, we knew they were the bakery for us. Not only was the cake delicious but the staff was extremely competent and attentive to detail. We didn't feel pressured at all during the tasting which I really appreciated. They were super on top of things throughout the planning process and were very responsive to my many emails. They set everything up perfectly for the wedding - it looked amazing and my cake was exactly how I wanted it. Also, the pricing is totally reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Amazing! Everything was delicious and seamless. We wanted a small cutting cake and then Flour Child created a beautiful spread of a dessert table. Highly recommend!

They made figuring out what we wanted for our wedding so easy!! We ended up getting cake, cookies, bars, and they even made vegan cupcakes for some of our vegan friends(which they said were delicious!) I had them make a grooms cake I told them the flavor and told them to make it fishing theme and let them do what they wanted and everyone (including the groom) LOVED it!! They even delivered to our venue. They really made it easy for us not to mention the best cake and baked good ever.

They ensured that we had plenty of the dessert to try during the tasting, not just a bite or two. I selected a dessert buffet, instead of the traditional wedding cake. We opted for Tandy Cake, Butter Cake, Cookies, and a couple types of cupcakes. We received so many compliments on how everything tasted. The butter cake was the star of the evening. My wife and I chose The Flour Child to prepare the cake for our October wedding. We had tasted MANY MANY cakes, but were blown away by the flavors offered by The Flour Child! Alixe was an absolute delight to work with, and we loved the flavor that she packed into our cake. Upon seeing our decorated cake on the day of the wedding, we were even more stunned! IT WAS GORGEOUS! We even froze some of the leftover cake, and 3 months later, it was still delicious. Thank you Alixe!

Phenomenal cake design from scratch...we told her our theme song ("Diamonds or Twine") and she designed a perfect cake to fit! Delicious too and very affordable! If you don't use Flour Child for your wedding cake, you are missing out!

We did mini pies instead of a cake and they were a huge hit. Everything looked great and tasted amazing. They even added a heart embellishment on the pumpkin pie that my husband and I cut. They were great to work with and I can't wait to use them again. Since we are local we will definitely be going back.

Everything was delicious! The cake we ordered looked beautiful and everyone talked about how amazing the cupcakes looked and tasted! So delicious, will definitely be returning for other events!

I used the Flour Child for my wedding. Our tasting experience was fantastic, with plenty of options to try from. We decided on cupcakes and each one had icing with a topping on it. We went with chocolate peanut butter (Reeses on top), vanilla and strawberry (strawberry on top), and pumpkin cream cheese (sprinkles on top). Each cupcake was to die for! I got so many compliments on how delicious they were. We ended up having only 7 left from the whole night! The planning process was made easy as well. They explain how the payment process works and what will work best for you. Super helpful. I highly recommend them for any event, or even just for a special treat!

I first tried The Flour Child for my sister’s baby shower cake. I was shocked by the reasonable price and how easy Alixe was to work with. The guests at the shower raved about the cake and so we decided to use them again for our wedding. Alixe was amazing to work with from the start and was able to make the wedding cake and dessert buffet we were dreaming about a reality. We had nothing to worry about, she took care of every last detail. Again, the guests were coming up to us the whole night asking about where our desserts were from. Even my father who is self-described as “not a dessert guy” has completed all the errands at their store for me just so he can pick up more treats that he loves. Prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing quality and deliciousness of the products, as well as the pleasant service and interactions with the staff. We can’t wait to continue using The Flour Child for all of our bakery needs in the future!

My husband and I ordered a cake buffet (three types of cakes and cupcakes too!) for our wedding. Alixe was so supportive and full of wonderful ideas... it turned out BEAUTIFUL and delicious! Our guests loved the nontraditional buffet idea and there was a flavor of cake for everyone's preference. The cakes were delivered promptly and set up beautifully, and all for a VERY reasonable price. Our guests raved about how good everything was and the carrot cake in particular was demolished – we will definitely be asking for the carrot cake when our one-year anniversary rolls around. The Flour Child is so amazing!!! Alixe is an artist! We had a very simple cake topper but she made our cake look elegant and fit perfectly into our wedding decor. I love cake, that is my favorite part of each wedding, so I wanted to make sure that our cake was delicious. I was not disappointed! I knew from the moment I met Alixe that she was the perfect!

Alixe was absolutely amazing! She went out of her way to make sure our day and cake were perfect. A cake topper we ordered never arrived and the week of our wedding I let her know that we were onto Plan B for toppers. She immediately responded saying she had it under control and the type of topper we wanted was delivered to her the next day. It was amazing, so appreciated, and totally above and beyond her call of duty! That says a lot about her passion and service to her bakery and her customers! The cake was beautiful and delicious and I LOVE that we can go again for our anniversary and get another topper (no year old freezer burn cake for us)!

We absolutely loved out desserts. We had a whole dessert bar and every person at the wedding got something they loved! The whole process was super easy, from tasting to booking to wedding day. Alixe was friendly and accommodating, she really made the whole process that much better. To top it off, everything was delicious! There was not one thing I didn't like, and even my non-cake loving husband was in love. Everything was perfect, I would absolutely recommend this awesome little bakery. The Flour Child was the absolute best to work with! My husband and I were planning our wedding from OK. Alixe and her team were able to whip up a box of goodies to try on short notice during a quick visit to PA. The cake was amazing, the dessert bar was amazing, and did I mention the cake?!? The leftovers lasted the 2 day drive from PA back to OK and still tasted amazing. She was also able to do a surprise groom's cake that was a last minute addition. TFC is just wonderful to work with and so accommodating. And not to mention their pricing is hard to beat!

My husband and I had a great time working with the Flour Child team for our wedding! When we had our consultation, Alixe took the time to get to know my husband and I, two of my bridesmaids and our vision for the wedding. She also was prepared with photos of cakes from previous weddings that helped us to express our creative ideas and provide her with examples of what we liked. The cakes we sampled were delicious and she gave us the time to enjoy and discuss each of them before helping us decide which would be best for our cupcake choices. We selected four different flavors for cupcakes (chocolate with cream cheese buttercream, vanilla with strawberry, chocolate with mocha buttercream and vanilla with bailey’s buttercream) and a chocolate with peanut butter for our topper cake. We left the consultation raving about our experience and how friendly and personable Alixe and her staff were. On our wedding day, the cake tower looked amazing and the flavor in the cupcakes was even better! The celtic knot and Law enforcement plaid were a beautiful nod to our celtic heritage and all of our guests loved the different flavors Alixe and her team had created! I cannot rave enough about Alixe and The Flour Child, from the initial consultation to the wedding day, the team worked hard to personalize every aspect of our experience and we were so pleased to work with them! I can't even begin to express how awesome of an experience it was to work with Alixe from The Flour Child! She was recommended to us by our venue (The Cameron Estate Inn) and I'm so glad she was! Her cake is delicious (moist, just the right amount of sweetness, mouth-watering) and she is SUCH a sweetheart. Our cake tasting with her was so much fun. I brought my mom and we literally couldn't stop eating haha! She was very easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions promptly. She has a great working relationship with the Cameron Estate Inn which meant I really didn't have to get involved much as she knew exactly what she needed to do! I was literally blown away with how beautiful my cake looked the day of the wedding, what a wonderful surprise! Our dessert spread from The Flour Child was simply immaculate. Alixe was ridiculously incredible and FUN to work with. From our first meeting, it felt like we had been long-time friends. Alixe, owner of The Flour Child, is so bubbly and creative. She was recommended by our florist so we decided to just go for a trial. Oh my goodness, the cakes and frosting are amazing! It was really hard to narrow them down. Alixe allowed us to select 2 cakes, 2 frosting, and 2 fillings. We went with chocolate cake and cream cheese filling/frosting and vanilla cake with lemon merengue filling with vanilla frosting. They were both out of this world! Our guests really loved the cakes! Because of the hot weather, Alixe did a faux cake which worked perfectly. The rest of the cake was scored and ready to be served which made it easy for our food handlers. I highly recommend Alixe as she's truly talented at what she does. She arrived and set up promptly. You will not regret booking The Flour Child!

Working with the owner, Alixe was extremely easy and fun from the beginning. My wife and I started on the user friendly website to schedule our consultation/tasting. I couldn’t help but smile the day I walked in to the bakery because the atmosphere inspires warmth and cheer. With no vision of design or flavor I quickly apologized for my lack of bridal skills. Alixe laughed unfazed, assured me that I was in great hands, and jumped right in prepared with photos and sketches of cake options. In 10 quick minutes she has walked us through designing the perfect cake for our special day. The hardest part was choosing flavors because everything that we tried was incredible! She said that she would create an invoice and it was emailed quickly. Closer to the wedding I called the shop to let her know that I had found a cake topper. She greeted me with genuine elation about our wedding plans and again put a smile on my face with her warm demeanor. She coordinated with our reception hall to place the cake and everything looked lovely on my wedding day. Often something is lost with vendors and they seem to forget that you’re celebrating something special. Alixe was fantastic to work with! She is so fun and friendly and clearly adores her job. The tasting was a blast....and EVERY cake, frosting, and filling we tried was to die for. We finally chose a white cake with fresh raspberries baked throughout, lemon curd filling, and cream cheese buttercream icing....HELLO!!! Our guests loooooooved it and my co workers are stilling talking about it almost 5 months later! The price was incredible and her design skills are seriously perfection. CANNOT wait for our 1 year anniversary cake that she bakes fresh!!

Alixe has been making my family's cakes and cupcakes for every occasion that has come up since she opened her bakery.. and never ONCE have we had anything less than amazing from her. Naturally, my husband and I knew she would be our go-to for our wedding and let me just say I've never seen a more beautiful cupcake tower (5 different flavor combos) with our personal carrot cake top with fresh flower decoration. Straight out of a magazine! The Flour Child bakery goes above and beyond for every customer and delivers the most delicious, beautiful, freshly baked goods anyone could ask for.
