Our cutting cake was beautiful and the dessert buffet was a massive hit with everyone! The setup looked amazing, but the taste was out of this world. Guests are still talking about...
how delicious everything was—especially the cupcakes and those unbelievable snickerdoodle cookies!
We thought we might have some treats leftover to take home, but our guests swept through the dessert table and devoured almost every single bit. If you want a wedding dessert table that your guests will be raving about for weeks (and clearing out completely), look no further!
The Flour Child has the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life! We got so many compliments at our wedding on how good the cookies were. And our wedding cake turned out beautifully....
Alixe was wonderful to work with- she so nice and willing to do what it takes to make your day perfect! Highly recommend for any occasion!!
The Flour Child absolutely exceeded every expectation we had! From the planning process to the wedding day, everything was handled professionally, and the end result was both beaut...
iful and delicious.
Our wedding cake was exactly what we had envisioned—elegant, beautifully decorated, and every bit as delicious as it looked. It fit perfectly with the style of our wedding and was a centerpiece our guests couldn't stop admiring.
The dessert table was equally incredible. It offered such a wonderful variety, and every dessert was fresh, beautifully displayed, and absolutely delicious. We received countless compliments throughout the evening, with so many guests telling us it was one of the best dessert spreads they'd ever seen at a wedding. It was nearly impossible to pick a favorite because everything was so good!
One thing we especially appreciated was that they offered vegan and allergy-friendly dessert options, ensuring that all of our guests could enjoy something sweet. It meant so much to us that everyone felt included, regardless of their dietary needs, and our guests truly appreciated the thoughtful accommodations.
Beyond the amazing desserts, the entire process was seamless. They were easy to work with, attentive to the details, and made sure everything was set up perfectly so we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day.
If you're looking for a bakery that combines exceptional quality, beautiful presentation, inclusive menu options, and outstanding customer service, we wholeheartedly recommend them. They created desserts that were not only stunning but also one of the most talked-about parts of our reception. We are so grateful they were part of our wedding day!

ies and cupcakes were AMAZING. I will be reaching out to them again for future parties 🤍
We had an excellent experience with The Flour Child and couldn’t be more grateful for how accommodating they were with my dairy allergy. They went above and beyond to make sure we ...
could still have a traditional cake-cutting moment by creating a beautiful faux wedding cake with a hidden wedge of dairy-free cake just for us. It was such a thoughtful and creative solution.
We also had separate cakes for our guests, and everything looked amazing and tasted great. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and care made the process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend them, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions who still wants a beautiful wedding cake experience.
Our cake was absolutely freaking delicious. We had a 3 tier all real cake and no regrets. They offer faux cakes but we didn't really like the idea and absolutely loved how ours tur...
ned out. The venue saved the top of our cake for us and we forgot it and I'm so sad about that but the good news is they offer an anniversary cake as part of your purchase! The girls at the Flour Child were easy to work with, sweet, and so creative. They mimicked my wedding dress lace onto the cake when I had initially envisioned very basic. It came out gorgeous and delicious!
For our wedding, we did not want to have cake for everyone and instead opted for cupcakes. We picked six flavors and our guests said that they were all delicious. Because we did cu...
pcakes, we did a “fake two tier cake” where only a portion of it was real and this is what we used for cake cutting. We really liked how they had this option as it allowed us to still have the typical cake cutting moment. We also had a smaller cake made for our after party and it was a perfect way to end the night of celebrations.
We had the most delicious and fun experience with The Flour Child. We knew that we wanted to partner with this friendor for two reasons- we have been using them for years and year...
s in my family, but they were also a preferred vendor for my venue. They were great communicators from the moment we inquired to the moment we sent them our wedding photos. I loved our consultation with them, because I easily can suffer from decision fatigue. They made my many many thoughts into something so simple, beautiful, and tasty!
I also appreciated that they offered more than just cake. As someone who doesn't pick cake as her first dessert, I loved being able to offer something just as great, which was a dessert bar, which had cupcakes, brownies, lemon bars, and cookies. I think this met our guests preferences much more and it was a HIT. We love you, Flour Child family :)

any other wedding cake I've ever had. I will definitely be ordering again for future events! My dreams of having a large wedding cake were also met when they suggested we have a "fake" cake with a real cake wedge for us to cut. Our cake looked exactly as I imagined it to be and tasted even better! Don't go anywhere else for your wedding cake!
We were married on February 3, 2023 and The Flour Child girls could not have given us a better wedding cake! For our wedding, The Flour Child provided us with an affordable option ...
that suited us perfectly. After our individual consultation, the girls from The Flour Child created our dream wedding cake near perfect to our vision. We provided them a picture of the cake we desired and they delivered it to us with every guarantee it would be what we envisioned. AND IT WAS! Not only did they paint the exact picture onto our cake that we wanted, but they enhanced it with embellishments and beauty.
We chose a two-tiered cake with a wedge just for us to cut. We wouldn’t have to save/freeze an entire tiered cake for our anniversary because they will provide a fresh made anniversary cake! Our personal cake was also painted with our theme and decorated with buttercream to look and feel like a non-artificial cake. Then for our guests (approximately 80), we were able to chose 3 auxiliary cakes in different flavors. Our guests raved about the taste and were asking for more after the wedding!
The Flour Child delivered our cake to our venue and set-up our cake topper. They were professional and went above and beyond to provide us with an affordable and beautiful personal cake in addition to the most delicious sheet cakes for guests!
Anyone looking for an affordable wedding cake vendor, we would highly recommend the girls at The Flour Child!

The tasting was phenomenal. The Cinnamon Roll cake is probably the best cake I've ever tasted. The final result was flawless and gorgeous!! They were priced affordably and it gave us the opportunity to do a cookie table as well - that was also amazing!! I will be ordering from them again, without question!

rt of my day. I did care about how it looked, though, and they did a wonderful job making my vision come to life. The cake was delicious and all of our guests were raving about it!
Undoubtedly, for our wedding, the cake tasting and the cake itself was of top level importance for my husband. His motto for the wedding reception was jokingly steak and cake (we h...
ad to have an amazing steak to eat and a scrumptious cake to enjoy, those were his top requirements for the reception). He went in to wedding cake tasting like it was the olympics....but there wasn’t much competition. The Flour Child was the hands down winner, and they left all the other competition in the dust. All three components of their cake were perfect, the cake, filling, and frosting. The perfect trifecta we were looking for. For our wedding cake we chose a marble cake, with real raspberry filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. They took my drawings and created the edible version of them, exactly as I envisioned it. Taking all of our suggestions, but also using their expertise to guide us in the right direction we knew we were in good hands. The cake was scrumptious, looked gorgeous, and had all our guests wanting seconds. Working with the girls at The Flour Child to make our dream wedding cake design a reality, was effortless, fun, and enjoyable. Our cake expectations were exceeded and we can’t wait to try more of what The Flour Child has to offer.

We went with chocolate peanut butter (Reeses on top), vanilla and strawberry (strawberry on top), and pumpkin cream cheese (sprinkles on top). Each cupcake was to die for! cake and so we decided to use them again for our wedding. Alixe was amazing to work with from the start and was able to make the wedding cake and dessert buffet we were dreaming about a reality. We had nothing to worry about, she took care of every last detail. Again, the guests were coming up to us the whole night asking about where our desserts were from. Even my father who is self-described as “not a dessert guy” has completed all the errands at their store for me just so he can pick up more treats that he loves. Prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing quality and deliciousness of the products, as well as the pleasant service and interactions with the staff. We can’t wait to continue using The Flour Child for all of our bakery needs in the future!
