I can’t thank The Flour Pot Cakes enough for giving me such an amazing wedding cake! Ive been to so many weddings were the cake was dry and didn’t taste good and I was determined to make sure my wedding cake wasn’t like that. She is so easy to work with and made sure I got exactly what I wanted for my cake and I couldn’t believe have reasonable the price was for how much we got and how amazing it tasted! People are still reaching out to me to tell me how much they loved all of our wedding cake flavors and how they had multiple pieces because it was soo good. We barely had any left and we ordered extra! She will forever be my go to person for any cake!

My mouth is watering just thinking back to how delicious my wedding cake was from Re. She was so much fun to work with and guided us every step of the way. I am so happy we listened to her helpful suggestions and truly appreciated her care when we told her of a guest's nut allergy. We ended up not saving our top tier (because the cake is so good we had no self control and ate it), but I cannot wait to order an anniversary cake from her!

Hands down the most delicious cake I've ever had. I first heard of The Flour Pot Cakes at a friend's daughter's christening. I immediately reached out to Re and asked her to do our wedding cake. You must go to her for yours! She's fabulous!

I won a gift card through our venue, Dock 580 at our tasting. I had already booked our cake baker for the wedding, so I used the gift card to put toward a surprise groom's cake for my husband to serve our guests at the rehearsal dinner. Re blew me away. Not only was the cake perfectly aligned with my vision, it was quite simply the best cake I've ever had. Our friends and family raved about how delicious it was and I think when it comes time for our first anniversary, I will have Re make us a cake to celebrate!

I booked Re for my wedding after tasting her amazing creations! Her fillings, cake, and buttercream are all amazing. I did not want to wait until our wedding to have her cake so I had her make me an Easter cake. It had an AMAZING lemon curd and beautiful blueberries. My family raved about the cake. Even my future brother-in-law said he is not a "cake person" and ate two pieces. She is able to make a cake taste light yet decadent. We are having the hardest time deciding flavors for the wedding because everything she makes tastes amazing. You cannot go wrong choosing to have Re make your cake!

So I planned on having my wedding cake plus 100 or so cupcakes made by this business. All she offers for tastings are carrot cake almond cake and chocolate and will not let you pick your own for tasting I can't have nuts at my wedding (allergies) and carrot cake for a wedding ? Ha so when we asked to pick our own she said no then commented " looks like some kids don't want a wedding cake " as me being the bride that is so rude and uncalled for I'm having a hard time with my wedding planning cause of deaths in my family and a newborn so to have someone treat and talk about me that way about my wedding is The complete opposite of how it should be since "I must not want a wedding cake " she must not want my service or values her clients ! My advice stay away unless you want to be treated badly and not get the cake of your dreams !

Cake was amazing, beautiful, affordable. She's very laid back but also very professional which is a perfect combo for me.

I was referred to Re by a coworker after having issues with finding a cake baker for my wedding that was planned in just 4 short months. I immediately felt at ease when I spoke to Re. I went to her house to pick up cakes for a tasting since my then fiance could not attend. Before tasting her cakes I wanted to book her. She has so many years of experience and after seeing her photos I knew she had to make our cake. We tasted her cake that night and immediately emailed her that we wanted to book her. Her cakes are AMAZING. The buttercream is to die for. We had three tiers, red velvet with cream cheese filling on the bottom and the top two tiers were lemon with lemon curd filling and fresh blueberries. We also had a grooms cake that was chocolate with peanut butter filling. Our guests RAVED about the cake. She designed them exactly the way we wanted, and on the groom's cake that was a drum she even got the logo on the front and the exact font! She is truly an artist! Book Re for your wedding, you will love her and her cakes!

Working with Re from The Flour Pot Cakes was one of the highlights of our wedding planning experience, hands down. Beyond the fact that cake tasting is “the fun part” of planning, my husband and I had an absolute blast with Re and found ourselves laughing and sharing stories for over two hours in her home (ask about her family’s love for Halloween!). When asked how our tasting went and what we chose, we not-so-jokingly were able to say “basically everything.” For our 80-person wedding, we had a small two-tier, two-layer wedding cake, four flavors of cupcakes, and three flavors of pies to go with a southern comfort-food themed dinner menu. Our coordinator had to jump in with a to-go box to save a few cupcakes for us as they quickly disappeared from the table, and my grandmother refused to come on the dance floor until she finished her “perfect” sweet and sour cherry crumble top pie. Beyond having a popular dessert table at our wedding, Re will become our go-to in the future for special occasion desserts. I look forward to singing her praises to all of my Columbus friends as they begin planning their own weddings. Re’s confections are competitively priced and for the quality it’s worth every penny and more.

We initially chose Flour Pot because they were one of our venue's cheaper preferred vendors. As it turned out, it was the most delicious cake we had ever eaten. We loved that she was able to make smooth surfaces on the cake rather than fondant (because we don't like the taste). This made it look and taste amazing! Re's icing and fillings made the cake exquisite! Our guests are still raving about how great our cake tasted! We also like that she makes a top tier replica for you a year later rather than having to eat year old cake!

I can not begin to even say how perfect our cake was. Re was just so sweet and so kind throughout the whole process. We went to her house for a cake tasting and were honestly sold after the very first taste of her buttercream frosting. My now husband is not a huge fan of cake or frosting and he was immediately in love! We went with a four tier cake with three different flavors and they were all a hit. Honestly the best tasting cake I've ever eaten and it also looked fantastic!! You are seriously missing out if you don't go with Re for your wedding cake or really any other event. We can't wait to order our 1 year anniversary cake and will be recommending her to all of our friends and family. You can not go wrong with Re, she will make your dream wedding cake even better than you could have imagined!

Re is so sweet and a pleasure to work with! Our cake was not only gorgeous, but it tasted spectacular! Her butter cream frosting melts in your mouth and the salted caramel filling is to die for! I can't wait to get another taste of it when we order our 1-year anniversary cake :)

Re Ryznar is an amazing baker. She was extremely patient with my husband and I as we tried every flavor combination of both cake and frosting. We ended up getting a 4 tier cake from her, each with a different flavor combination, to feed 175 people. Re's flavors are inventive and she is extremely flexible about tailoring them to suit your tastes, as well as the design of the cake itself. On our wedding day, there was a mixup as to where our cake flowers were and she ran out last minute to buy extra for us without batting an eye. Re was a huge help in planning our day and we would gladly recommend her to any friend.

I have tasted many cakes that Re has crafted! THEY ARE AMAZING! My husband doesn’t care for cake or icing, ever; but when I brought home our taste testing slices that she prepared for us, He made sure we were getting the White Almond cake with her butter cream frosting! Simply delicious! She was super easy to work with and very sweet, she delivered it straight to the venue and set up the table quickly. Just perfect! LOVE her cakes!

Re was great with us working within our budget, staying in constant communication, and giving us EXACTLY what we wanted. She's a very nice person and does this for the joy of baking. Lots of experience and doesnt have to use fondant which for us was a plus!!! Cake priced at 3.75 per slice!
