I used this vendor for my wedding. Cathy was amazing!!! She helped me with planning how many flowers I needed, what flowers are in season and which flowers hold best in heat/ humidity. Flowers were beautiful and quality. Thank you again!!!

The flowers we ordered for our family dinner alfresco the night before our wedding were beautiful and well-done. Cathy was easy to coordinate with and understood what I was looking for.

We knew we wanted to hire Cathy from the moment we met her! She was sweet, personable and was super helpful with turning scattered ideas into a beautiful design! We were supposed to get married outside but unfortunately the rain had other plans. When we walked into our new indoor ceremony site, we were completely blown away! Cathy got creative and ended up giving us the most beautiful indoor ceremony we ever could have dreamed of! I couldn't recommend her more, we loved her!

Cathy got my vision! You look for months & months on wedding sites & Pinterest & you know your flowers are going to be beautiful but it really helps with a vendor who really gets your ideas & executes them even better than you imagined. Cathy was wonderful, & reassuring even when we knew the weather wasn’t going to cooperate with us. She could tell me exactly what flowers & greenery I could substitute for the rain & heat, I got so many compliments on my flowers. I loved my bouquet so much that I hung it to dry so it could be showdwo boxed, something that beautiful cannot be forgotten! So glad I found her for our big day. 10/10 thank you so much for bringing our day to life!

Cathy was a pleasure to work with! She allowed me to go back and forth and worked with me to create exactly what I wanted for our flowers. We’re not local, so she set up to have the flowers delivered to our hotel near the shop. Our boutonnières were accidentally left behind at delivery and when I reached out, she had them brought to me within the hour and was so sincere in her apology. She fixed it immediately and I’m so grateful. The flowers were all fresh and stunning, and exactly what I’d imagined them to be!

Cathy did a great job on my wedding flowers! They were beautiful and looked fantastic in my pictures! Flowers were great quality and very affordable.

I used Flower Cupboard for my ceremony and reception flowers at the Wren Chapel & Williamsburg Inn. Working with Cathy was straightforward and easy. She was always responsive and very clearly understood my vision while providing helpful tips and guidance. Set up and cleanup were seamless and easy. Only thing which I have seen in a few reviews here - I do believe the prices were high for the flowers received but overall everything was beautiful! Thanks!

They did a great job with the very little direction I gave them. Everything turned out beautifully and they were easy to work with, as well as organized.

Positives: Our flowers were beautiful and exactly as expected. I was able to send in pictures from pinterest and Cathy recreated them exactly. She worked with us to get our flowers delivered earlier than planned so that we could have them in our pictures. Negatives: Cathy is a little unresponsive at times. There wasn't really a contract and it was unclear when payments were due. After we met in person and hashed out all the details, it took more than a month to get an updated invoice.

Cathy created stunning centerpieces and gorgeous bridal party flowers. We could not have been happier. Dealing with Cathy was a straightforward affair. She made everything easy.

Cathy took my limited flower budget and turned it into the flowers of my dreams for my wedding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did a great job of also incorporating my mom's wishes too. The flowers were delivered and set exactly like I wanted without adding any stress. I highly recommend The Flower Cupboard.

Cathy saw my vision immediately and delivered gorgeous flowers within my limited budget. My bouquet was perfection and I'm only sad that I can't have it fresh every day. I decided about 2 months out to have her do the reception centerpieces (I foolishly had planned to do them myself) and was so pleased with the result. She was able to do them for less than I could buying the flowers wholesale and that was wonderful for my sanity. They were absolutely what I had in mind. Wonderful all around!!

The Flower Cupboard did an amazing job on our wedding flowers. Cathy got my vision completely. We had different center pieces for each table. I gave Cathy some direction, but she used her creativity and made each one beautiful. She was professional, and effective communicator and great to work with. I 100% recommend the Flower Cupboard!

Positive: the flowers were absolutely amazing-I gave the florists a lot of leeway and mainly just picked out a color palette for them to work with. I also really appreciated how easy they were to work with as far as my budget was concerned. We did a lot of planning to make sure I could have beautiful flowers within the budget I had to work with. Negative: I had a few back and forth emails and phone calls about timing. The florist of course wanted to wait as long as possible to deliver my flowers so they would be fresh. However, with our wedding at 6, we had to do pictures beforehand, starting at 4. She wanted to deliver flowers at 4:30 but we eventually settled on 4 so that I could have flowers for my first look and all the photos. However, the flowers arrived at 5:30. FIVE THIRTY. With a wedding at 6. I had to do all of our first look photos without flowers. Who wants wedding photos without a bouquet?? Especially when they were so pretty??! I really don't understand how this happened, especially because the florist works with my venue and wedding planners all the time. There should not have been any problems, but they looked at my mom like she had 4 heads when she asked why they were so late. Um, 5:30 is not the same as 4:00....

The flowers we got for our wedding from The Flower Cupboard were amazing! Cathy did a great job with all of the arrangements, bouquets, and corsages! We highly recommend using The Flower Cupboard!

The Flower Cupboard took my thoughts of what I wanted and designed everything exactly as I wanted. I couldn't have done better. It was a destination wedding, so everything was done by email and two visits. It was perfect.

We used The Flower Cupboard for our bouquets/boutonnieres, and the end products were absolutely beautiful. A very small complaint is that communication was not always easy leading up to the wedding, but I would definitely use them again.

While not outside the US, this was a destination wedding for us as we live 6 hours from Williamsburg. Shayna came highly recommended from a colleague. I am so glad we booked her for full service planning! The entire process from start to finish was painless and well organized. From referring us to vendors to finalizing all the details the week before the wedding to running the show the day of the wedding, we have nothing but wonderful praise for Shayna. Our guests were impressed with the quality of the day and how smoothly it all ran without us lifting a finger. I was so relaxed on the wedding day and got to enjoy a few hours of down time in the morning knowing that Shayna was taking care of all the timing and coordination for our vendors.

The flowers for our wedding were incredibly beautiful and fresh. The arrangements were amazing and we received many compliments. The team was even able to change from an arbor to two side displays because our wedding had to be moved inside for rain. They were able to make this change the day of without any problems. The team was wonderful to work with, very responsive and had an amazing product!

We were quite pleased with the flowers for our daughter's wedding. Cathy completed our vision very well.

Thanks to Cathy and the team at the Flower Cupboard for taking the stress out of wedding planning. Cathy helped us visualize our day from start to finish, with and without floral and other decor touches.

Cathy and her staff are a pleasure to work with and I really enjoyed the planning process. Cathy is creative and works really well within your budget. If you want something, she will work really hard to give it to you. I had my bridesmaids carry pomanders to carry on the colonial tradition, and the flower pomanders didn't hold up very long. They were losing flowers pretty quickly before the wedding was over. I had also asked that two charms with my Mom's pictures be attached to my bouquet, and when the bouquet arrived (which was gorgeous) they weren't on there. At the reception the ficus trees were gorgeous and the moss letters were super cute. In summary there were lots of things right and beautiful, but also a few things that didn't quite go as planned.

Flowers at Ceremony and reception were beautiful and I was very pleased. I thought overall the pricing was slightly high compared to what we received but I was pleased with the quality. Cathy was very flexible and communicated frequently. Great experience with this florist overall.

Cathy Nester designed floral arrangements that complemented the theme of my wedding perfectly. She is a kind and caring person, that will help to see your vision through. Her expertise is stellar and I am so thankful we used her for our wedding.

Cathy and her shop created the most beautiful flower arrangements that I have ever seen! They were EXACTLY what I wanted, and I can't thank her enough for listening and helping me! She was also very helpful in the general set up for my reception. I brought her several things in advance, and she set everything up so that I didn't have to worry about anything! She also took everything down after the reception, what a blessing!

The wonderful folks at The Flower Cupboard helped me plan flowers for the ceremony. Once we arrived at the church I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the flowers actually looked. They did a wonderful job and I would recommend to anyone.

Cathy at The Flower Cupboard is great. Prices were a little on the high end but she works with you to get something in your budget while still delivering beautiful arrangements. She's very busy, so it sometimes took a little while fr her to get back to me about questions throughout the process, but she's very flexible and overall was a great florist.
