If you are looking for a florist, then look no further than - Debbie is your girl!! She made my vision turn into a reality from sending her a picture to receiving my bouquets. She was amazing to work with, very easy to communicate with, and was so sweet with every step of the process. She was so amazing with even helping provide a secret bouquet for my mother, and helped me through the process. She was the cherry on top of a really magical day. Highly recommend booking her asap!!

We got married in September of 2023. In terms of importance flowers were lower on our list. We knew we wanted bouquets for the bridal party and a minimalistic look in our reception hall. Our event coordinator at Nazareth Hall recommended The Flower Mercantile to us during one of our planning appointments. We made an appointment with Debbie, described our needs for flowers, provided her with our budget and she brought our vision to life through a personalized digital portfolio. On the day of the wedding, Debbie and her assistants were on time for set up, professional and checked in with us both prior to starting and before she left to ensure we were happy with how everything turned out. Debbie was very nice to communicate with but didn't fully execute my vision. She created two large beautiful pieces for the front of the ceremony that was also moved to our sweetheart table. Those were lovely. But the boutonnieres did not fit the guys tux pockets and kept falling out, no measurements occurred, my flower girls flower crown was a leaf crown with almost no flowers, and my bridal bouquet had pink and blush tones even though I specifically stated I wanted all white, with no blush or pink tones. My bridal bouquet flowers also looked old and wilted even before the ceremony started.

I can’t say “thank you” enough to Debbie and her team!! Every step of the way, she communicated clearly and made sure she understood our vision. She also offered different ideas to fit within our budget, rather than try to upsell items that weren’t necessary. I completely trusted in her and I’m glad I did! On the day-of, her team set the room in record time. She even hand-delivered my bouquet to me to make sure I loved it. When I first met with her she took the time to get to know me and know the vision of what I wanted my wedding to be. She listens to you and designs pieces that make you feel like YOU! Debbie is way beyond amazing. To have a dream wedding, flowers is necessary and play an important role. The biggest challenge is picking wedding style you want, and how to fit within your budget. Debbie helped us going through this process, I first gave her few photos to show my "dream" style, and she adjusted my need to seasonal flowers and possible options. I almost passed out while I saw my bouquet on wedding day cause it was toooo amazing. For anyone who need florist and live in Toledo, I will 100% recommend Debbie as your florist, you won't regret! (BTW, before I met Debbie, I've talked with few florists apparently Debbie is the best fit)

Debbie is THE BEST. From the very beginning, she was so helpful, kind, and flexible, and she helped us figure out how to make our vision come to life after just seeing a few inspiration photos. She truly understood what we were looking for and all the pieces she put together for our wedding were BEAUTIFUL -we got so many compliments. We had a smaller budget and thought we would not be able to afford all of the floral pieces we wanted to have, but Debbie figured out how to make it work within our budget and we were truly blown away by what she was able to put together. Debbie was more than willing to accommodate our smaller order size, including free delivery. She was attentive to our allergy needs with the hydration systems/ wrapping. She even provided extra boutonnieres in the event of wilting due to my personal flower selection and the unexpected heat of the day. The wedding party flowers were gorgeous, my flowers arrived wilted due to the heat but Debbie reimbursed us the cost of my bouquet without us even asking and the flowers did still look good in the photos and we even got many compliments and inquires as to who our florist was. She further went above and beyond by hand-making a cute ornament for us. I would 100% recommend her and the wilting of my flowers was in no way her fault, but a combination of unexpected weather and my need for the stems to be entirely wrapped and thus made hydration more difficult on a hot day.

She really listen to what we wanted and created a 'picture board' document for us with flowers that she would suggest using based on our vision. She checked in with us about a month prior to re-confirm all the details. The final product turned out amazing. Hire this lovely woman! I had an emergency right before my wedding date and suddenly needed a new florist last minute and she willingly stepped in and saved the day! She took my description words and inspiration photos and turned them into exactly what I had dreamed of and even went out of her way to include my favorite flowers.
