The Flower Pot

ur venue, I was overcome with emotion—the floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking, and every detail was more perfect than I ever imagined. Mel has an incredible talent for taking a vision and elevating it beyond your wildest dreams. She listened carefully to my ideas, explained every step of the process so thoroughly, and made communication effortless from start to finish. Her care, dedication, and artistry created a magical atmosphere that made our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you, Mel, for your stunning work and for making everything so seamless. Your flowers were nothing short of perfection, and we will cherish the beauty you brought to our day forever!

m told the story’ of steve and I’s love!!! Mel was there at our venue before anyone else! And we walked into a wonderland of our dream deisgn…. Do not waste another second! The flowerpot is a wonderful boutique hire !!!! Mel is going to go down as one of the most memorable florists on our island!!

! I'm sure I'm not the only bride that had a ton of questions and last minute additions/removals but Mel is a total pro and finds way to make sure that the flowers are absolutely perfect. She was one of the only florists I spoke to that was open and willing to repurpose flowers from ceremony to reception (we had our ceremony at the same place as our reception) which was incredible because we were getting so many flowers that would've gone to waste!! We were able to repurpose the flowers from the aisle to a couple of tables and the bridesmaids bouquets to help make a few of the tables look 'fuller.' I'm so glad that I got to work with Mel- she totally nailed it!!! It was EXACTLY what I had envisioned!

e staying within my budget. She always sent photos for me to look at when choosing between different types of arrangements and sent a huge list with photos of flowers to choose from. I absolutely loved the creative process she facilitated! On the day, Mel coordinated with my wedding coordinator to set everything up and make the different drop offs (at a few locations!) perfectly on time! We didn't encounter a single bump in the road and everything went off without a hitch! A highlight of the day for me was my bridal bouquet - it was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Huge props to Mel for making it all seamless for me and creating beautiful arrangements!! I would hands down recommend her to anyone planning a wedding - she's an excellent partner and the FLOWERS are 100/10!

so helpful in coming up with creative solutions. We were reusing some ceremony pieces and bridesmaid bouquets for the reception and when I got to the venue, I asked the maitre d if she was there and they were unsure so went to check. When they got to the ballroom, Mel was already there setting everything up. She was one step ahead of everyone the whole day! I can’t say enough good things about working with her, she made my vision come to life but even better.

we wanted and trusted her with the rest! I fell in love with Mel’s modern yet organic styling and she did not disappoint. I wanted a mix of light and dark tones and she seamlessly blended them together. Everything from my bouquet to our ceremony arch was perfect. Our family and friends are still talking about her beautiful work. We also appreciated her honest feedback and willingness to suggest alternatives to help us stay within our budget. I 100% recommend Mel and The Flower Pot!!

ranslated our vision into reality. Stepping into the venue, I was instantly amazed by the breathtaking display of florals. The bouquets, in particular, were truly stunning. Mel's warmth and expertise shone through as she offered suggestions on selecting the perfect flowers. Without hesitation, I will be recommending the Flower Pot to all my soon-to-be-married friends!

e listened attentively to our ideas and preferences, and she truly captured the vision we had for our special day. Her expertise and creativity were evident from the start, and she took the time to understand our style and the specific flowers we wanted to incorporate. Mel’s preparation and attention to detail were second to none. She was well-organized, responsive, and always made us feel confident that everything would be perfect. Every step of the way, Mel communicated clearly and ensured that we were on the same page. Her professionalism and dedication made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. On the wedding day, the flowers were absolutely breathtaking. Mel's designs perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of our venue, blending modern, minimal, and romantic elements seamlessly. The bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements were all beautifully crafted, with each piece reflecting our vision and style. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and artfully arranged, creating a magical atmosphere that left us and our guests in awe. Mel incorporated all the blooms we wanted, and her attention to detail made each arrangement unique and special. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how gorgeous the flowers were, and they truly added an extra layer of beauty to our wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space, with its meticulously kept landscaping and the serene sound of the falls, was enhanced perfectly by Mel's floral arrangements. We are so grateful to Mel and Flower Pot LI for their exceptional work. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day beautiful and memorable. If you're looking for a florist who will bring your floral dreams to life with professionalism, artistry, and a genuine passion for her craft, look no further than Mel. Thank you for making our wedding day so special and unforgettable!

f the flowers she picked and everything she created was beautiful!!!

. Her talent speaks for itself. I had complete and total trust that whatever she did would look beautiful- she took the reins and knocked it out of the park! She is an artist- I mean look at her photos! I’m extremely grateful to have had her as my florist, she truly is the best! My flowers were absolutely beautiful & I cannot say thank you enough to the FlowerPot and the outrageously talented Mel!

y. She has you fill our a pretty detailed questionnaire when you're first starting so she can get as much information about what you are looking for as possible for a starting point. Down the road, we communicated via messages through her portal which was so simple and easy because we had all of the details about the wedding documented in one place. She was always super attentive and really easygoing about everything from beginning to end. She was not pushy or overbearing at all, I felt comfortable making changes; and each piece of the package was a-la-carte so adding and removing things was simple. The whole experience is completely customizable, I had a certain idea of what I wanted for my centrepieces so I was able to send over inspo pics as well and describe what I was looking for. She totally understood the assignment and then some-- what a beautiful job she did! Everything we talked about came to life so perfectly. We used baby's breath for everything and it all came out so dreamy and romantic, I couldn't be happier! I couldn't recommend her more and can't wait to use her for any future florals I need!

esmaids perfectly. And wow, the greenery she used for my reception was so breathtaking it absolutely transformed the space and I felt like I was in a fairytale. Thank you Melissa at The Flower Pot! Highly recommend!

. We were dealing with uncertain table numbers and set-ups leading up to the wedding, and on the day of we dealt with shifting plans due to weather and Mel was incredibly flexible and made the process so smooth. She responded quickly and was available for all of our many questions. Most importantly, the flowers were STUNNING!!!!! We absolutely could not have loved the bouquets more, and Mel helped us plan the most beautiful centerpiece & candle table arrangements. The flowers were so unique and colorful, and were definitely one of the highlights of our wedding. Truly could not recommend a better florist!

autiful, colorful arrangements before. From the very start she was so quick to communicate with me and work in my budget. I had no idea where to start and she made everything so easy. I asked a ton of questions and made so many changes last minute and she was beyond flexible and sweet. Mel, you made our wedding an absolute dream!

g our wedding a dream come true ! Her artistry is top notch, her vision is beautiful. It felt like I was working with a dear friend who truly cared. I wish I could get married again just so I could work with Mel, the flower pot LI again. Ladies, I mean it … she’s the real deal !!! Xoxoxo

t (kinda, who knew flowers were so expensive?!), answered my plenty of questions, and was very timely. I was in awe of the arch and our tall centerpieces, and so were our guests. Mel, thank you so much, again! My lavender/sage dreams came true. <3

uite a hike from where she is located. Her work is beautiful- 10/10 would recommend. Thank you, Mel!

my vision come true. I cannot recommend her enough. I will be referring to her for all of my flower needs in the future!

g and incredibly kind. 10/10 I would recommend Melissa to anyone! Love it all.

and excited seeing how much passion she has for what she does. She truly knows and loves what she is doing. She didn't just do the job for me, she went above and beyond with creativity to make my wedding day a literal dream.

a few times over zoom to go over plans. I had made a powerpoint with everything I wanted - she completely nailed my vision, if not better! I wanted tonssss of candles - so Mel "showed up" and took care of allllll the candles. We ended up doing a venue walk through about a month before my wedding and it was such a relief to see her planning, taking notes and coordinating her execution without any assistance from me! I even tried to help her with an idea at one point and she was like, "Abbie I love you, I got this." It almost brought me to tears it was such a relief to have a vendor take care of ME! I love going back and looking through photos of just the flowers and candles. They make my heart melt. One last thing, FYI: If you book with Mel, all of your guests won't be able to shut up about how gorgeous your bouquet + flowers were. So watch out! ;)

bouquet of my dreams! I could not have asked for a better florist experience. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone I know

r seen. The bouquets were absolutely stunning, the centerpieces really set the vibe for our reception and all the guys looked awesome with their boutonnieres! Everything was just so perfect. Guests even took the centerpieces home! Mel really listens to what you want and makes it 100x better than you could have ever imagined. She is professional and so personable! I wish I could attach pictures to this review because the flowers were perfect! Highly recommend!

nd her flexibility when our seating plan changed 3 days before the wedding - chef's kiss. It was always easy to get in touch with Melissa :) She was cool as a cucumber throughout our whole planning process. When I shared my floral visions with Mel, let's be real, I was on a champagne diet with a beer budget. Mel helped me stay on budget while still creating the ethereal, whimsical, beachy florals of my dreams. I cannot recommend The Flower Pot Team enough!
