Working with The Fluted Mushroom was a woderrful experience and the food was excellent. The service was fantastic, and all of the guests enjoyed the wedding.
The Fluted Mushroom and The Circuit Center provided our daughter with incredible food and an enticing venue for her wedding. Angela and her staff worked hard at making our expectat...
ions a wonderful reality. The smallest details were nailed! We could not more highly recommend using them for any important event.
Kaitlyn and Shawn at the Fluted Mushroom knocked it out of the park. The Fluted Mushroom space was incredible and the food was outstanding. All of the wonderful people serving were...
kind to everyone. Once I talked with Kaitlyn all my wedding stress significantly melted and she made everything happen seamlessly. Shawna was at our side all night serving us and being so fun and nice. The cookies we're plated beautifully and the room looked exceptional. I am so glad we chose the Fluted Mushroom and we owe so much to Kaitlyn.
Be careful! Very unprofessional. In a similar situation as another reviewer, we scheduled a tour with our daughter and when we got there (on time and after a 2 hour drive for my wi...
fe and I), all the doors were locked. We spent the better part of an hour trying to get ahold of event coordinator, Angela at both the business line as well as her mobile number and email. No response in any way, shape or form. No return calls, no apologies or explanations, nothing! The word “furious” does not adequately capture what we are feeling. I take no enjoyment in leaving this poor review, but it’s the only way I can think to possibly help others that may consider this poorly run establishment. And Angela? You may want to rethink your career choice. Pathetic.

ive, professional, detailed, knowledgeable and kind. They worked right beside us to bring our wedding menu to life both through presentation and taste. We have received the MOST wonderful feedback about how delicious and beautiful the food was. My husband and I wanted a caterer who would stand out among the rest and The Fluted Mushroom more than delivered.
Lee and his staff handled everything and worked with our venue to ensure the night went off without a hitch. Every part was exquisite and perfectly orchestrated. Lee's staff is so top notch - not only were they attentive to all of our guests - but also us. They made sure we ate and drank just as much as everyone else!
We can't thank The Fluted Mushroom enough for exceeding well beyond our expectations and making our wedding a night everyone will be talking about for years to come. Simply put, Lee and his team are the best!
When trying to schedule a tour to visit the facility the coordinator was not helpful and then stopped replying to my emails. Very bad customer service
Food was different and well presented and servers were professional looking but all of that was if no use when my Filet Mignon, which was to be served room temperature for an outdo...
or July wedding, was served ice-cold. Apparently the had to refrigerate it before they brought it to the venue (Pittsburgh Botanic Garden) and even though they assured me it would not be cold, my guests all commented to me how cold it was and , although it tasted fine, they were caught off guard by this and asked if it was supposed to be cold. I was embarrassed and mortified. I don’t want to take away from everything they did right, but after paying over $17,000 for food for 175 guests, I really expected perfection. Cold Filet is nothing more than lunch meat and i am still sick about it. Also, there was barely enough food. I’m not even sure if all the guests got filet. They assured me there would be leftovers and there was no filet or salmon left and the maid of honor went to eat right after her speech and the filet was gone and only a few pieces of salmon left. I (mother of bride) went into the kitchen during cocktail hour and noticed one of the servers eating filet at the counter so I’m glad the workers got to eat before my guests did.
Good service, felt like the food was very overpriced
I just called and spoke with Val. I informed her that I reviewed her menu and was looming for a quote since for the Hyatt on the south side and she said it was too hard to make a q...
