We loved our 5 lessons with her so much we added on 2 lessons for our respective Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances and our parents were also over the moon with her and her ability to mold to our personalities. I cannot say enough great things about Flying Pig Dance Studio or Erika, just know she is worth her weight in gold.

to my wedding was the first dance. I knew going in that my fiance and I would need lessons. I am THRILLED we went with The Flying Pig! Erika is the GREATEST instructor. She made all the steps seem so attainable and doable. Even when my fiance or would mess up, she was so patient and amiable. She was a joy to learn from and work with. We even scheduled another dance lesson for after the wedding and we will be going back for her date night events! Groom's Review: I loved how easy it was. Erika actually made learning to dance fun. The first dance was the thing I was most worried about going into wedding planning, etc., so much so that I didn't even want to do the first dance. By the wedding day, the first dance was the thing I was most confident in because we had practiced so much and Erika's teaching and choreography were so amazing.

anyone could feel confident doing a beautiful first dance with that package, but we had so much fun we decided to continue to the Intermediate series. Erika is great at offering feedback and instruction, and she really helped us become great dance partners to one another. Our wedding first dance went perfectly and was also so much fun. Taking dance lessons was actually my husband's idea because he wanted to feel more confident for our first dance. I would not have thought to do it without his suggestion. While dance lessons may not seem like a "need" in an increasingly complex wedding planning process, the opportunity to connect with each other and learn something new together during our engagement was priceless. I would highly recommend!

y partner and I to take a moment together - without any of the other wedding stress, and just have fun. Erika was absolutely wonderful and has the most positive attitude! She was incredibly professional, passionate and patient as we learned so many great moves! Even in a group setting she always made it feel personal. The environment was very clean and Erika took all of the right COIVID precautions. We enjoyed it so much we scheduled a few private lessons with Erika, where she helped us plan timing and our entrance for our first dance. We brought our parents to our final lesson as a way to “kick off” the wedding week and practice our mother/son and father/daughter dances. It was so much fun and an experience I will cherish deeply. All the things you'd want in a dance instructor for a couple with a combined total of 4 left feet. She completely raised our confidence with instructions and concepts that were simple to understand and execute! e didn’t want to spend our first dance overthinking every step, counting, etc. Erika created a dance that was so easy but looked very professional. The moves were interchangeable and built on each other so there was no major learning curve. Erika has the sweetest personality, made every lesson so much fun, and was great to work with! A huge plus was that she took a video at the end of each lesson, talked through each move with little tips, so that we could practice while watching ourselves dance and hear Erika instruct us. 10/10, would absolutely recommend, 5 stars!!! ay for our first dance at our wedding. We signed up for 5 lessons, but didn't even end up needing the last one. It was a little challenging because of COVID-19 restrictions. Erika couldn't dance with us herself to show us when we weren't getting the moves, but she did an excellent job breaking things down for us by having us watch her dance each part by herself. The most important thing is to practice (like she tells you to!). We practiced at least 3 times a week, and our efforts really payed off! Everyone loved our dance, and our first dance photos are amazing! Thanks so much Erika, we look forward to seeing you at another lesson in the future!
