The Fort was a phenomenal venue to have our beautiful day. Shirley, the event manager, was always timely and courteous in our exchanges. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind to all my guests. You can't beat the views and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend any couple to check out this hidden gem.
The Fort was awesome! Shirley made everything easy & seamless. She went out of her way to make our wedding unique & memorable. The food was outstanding & our main waiter Eric was a true professional. We loved every minute of our special day!
We got married at the Fort 7/22/23, and it could not have been more beautiful, and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
During the planning we worked with Shirley, the private events coordinator, and she was so helpful, and made everything easy and seamless. The Fort also had a day of coordinator, Sarah, who helped make the day/ceremony flow smoothly and get all the guest and wedding party to where they needed to be.
The Fort has a beautiful helicopter pad outside that was up for our ceremony - it looked beautiful, and is a stunning backdrop in the foothills, horses running in the background, etc. It was hot outside, so they even set up a table for guests to get ice water while they were waiting for the ceremony to begin. The service and attention to detail at the Fort is impeccable. We then had a cocktail hour in the courtyard. They had closed off the courtyard, so the whole event felt very private despite the restaurant being open and fully functioning. We then had dinner in a private dining room, the Fort had set up tables, did light decorations/centerpieces throughout the room/tables- it was beautiful, and since the Fort did all this, it made everything easy on the planning side of things.
As the bride (and my family) we just showed up, and everything was set up and ready to go. It was easy, beautiful, stress free, and blew my expectations out of the water.
The food was delicious, and a huge hit! Everyone loved the food - best wedding food I've ever had!!
Our wedding had about 55 guests (almost all of them from out of state), and i could not recommend the Fort enough - we had such a great experience with them, and it was a fun "Colorado" experience for all the guests.
Everything could not have been more perfect and wonderful!
We LOVE The Fort (in Morrison, CO) as a romantic evening out. The service provided by the staff is phenomenal, and the chef's are extremely talented at their craft. I never thought of this venue as a wedding spot, but it was perfect! Our entire party was able to be secluded from the general public, and that just added to the romance/intimacy of our wedding. We had a smaller wedding, 30-ish people, and it was perfect! I would actually recommend using this location if you have a smaller wedding, or if you are looking for an excuse to have a smaller wedding. The countless weddings that I have been too, no offense, but ours was much better. We had space for a guestbook table, photobooth, dance floor and DJ (even though at first, we were skeptical) all right next to the bar- for our party!! In addition, our guests were all served their entrees, and wine was plentiful during dinner; there was no clamoring for attention to get a glass of wine, and the dreadful waiting game of being "released" to to go the buffet, wondering what food choices would be left once you get there. We planned our event to have a 330pm wedding ceremony, 5pm dinner. This afforded us photos in the remarkable sunlight, romantic sunset and unique evening shots to capitalize on the photo choices later. The food is OUTSTANDING!!! We have always thought this. We upgraded our guests to receiving the buffalo sirloin (to try something different perhaps) and then a portion of chicken as well (just as a safety net in case). We could go on FOREVER about how impressed we were with the staff at The Fort, and Jenefer Weeks, is so much fun to work with. She was as excited for us as we were. She was always present, yet NEVER in the way. She was on top of anything we could have wanted. We had a few decorations, she set them up better than we could have done ourselves. We never had any doubt that our wedding would be as perfect as we could have hoped. It was wonderful!
