The Four Leads Barbershop Quartet was the 2009 GigMasters 'Rising Star Award' Winner for Top Barbershop Quartet. We won this award because we booked more gigs than any other quartet in the U.S. and Canada through GigMasters. We currently are a 5-star performer for GigMasters. The Four Leads has been singing together for over ten years as a registered quartet in the Barbershop Harmony Society. Before we became a quartet we all sang lead or melody in our home chorus, thus the name 'Four Leads.' Three of us switched voice parts to help our chorus, the Cincinnati Delta Kings Barbershop Chorus, with their Singing Valentine promotion. We were put together by random chance and thought we sounded pretty good and the rest is history. We attend annual intense quartet training seminars to improve our unit harmony, singing, presentation and entertainment skills.
