We hired The French Boutique for our son's wedding because we loved the beautiful creations she posted on social media. The wrist corsages and boutonnieres started falling apart before the ceremony even started.
Some of the other large arrangements had very few flowers as they were mostly all eucalyptus. The bridesmaids bouquets were the most disappointing.
I asked that if you hire The French bouquet that you get pictures of each arrangement the day of as she is making them. We really do not want anyone else to be disappointed in their flower arrangements. Annes comment to me was “You get what you pay for” We didn’t pay $4000 for eucalyptus and a few roses….
I will never recommend them.
Not to mention that she ran out of flowers and could not finish decorating. Thankfully she had enough flowers before she ran out to make the boutonnières she forgot. I asked for a refund for at least the flowers that came apart and was told no.
The French Boquet did all of the flowers for my wedding. They blew me away with how original, beautiful, and carefully put together each piece was. Everything from the boutonnières to centerpieces was absolutely perfect. Anne Marie, the owner, is such a joy to work with. She made everything so easy and really puts her heart into her work, making the arrangements she does absolutely stunning! Thank you, French Boquet! I highly recommend!
Anne Marie did the most stunning florals I have ever seen! She fully understands your vision and then makes them into the biggest reality! I was so in love with all the bouquets, colors, and pins for the men! Absolutely perfect!
My bouquet as well as the bridesmaids’ turned out great. The arch was just okay, and the pew bouquets didn’t turn out at all like what I had discussed with her previously.
While my bouquet turned out pretty, it just wasn't the experience I was hoping to have for my wedding. There were lots of mistakes made on my invoices throughout the process. I received the invoices of other brides, and items were left off my own invoice. I was worried that I may not receive the correct items on my wedding day. The florist also told me she didn't agree with a certain aspect of how I wanted my bouquet and my bridesmaid bouquets, even though I was very straight-forward with what I wanted. The florist ended up doing the bouquets like she wanted, and while they still turned out pretty, they were not exactly what I wanted. If you are a Type-A personality who needs things done the right way the first time and clear communication, I would recommend looking into other florists.
Absolutely incredible! Anne Marie was delightful to work with, and was able to show me samples in person of the vision I’d had for my wedding. I loved the fact that she already had what I was looking for (and so much more!) on hand. When it came time to solidify everything, her team was very on top of reaching out to us and making sure everything was in order. I was so surprised and pleased when I saw the arrangements the day of the wedding! They were beautiful and everything I’d hoped for!
The French Bouquet truly brought my dreams to life at our wedding. Our flower arrangements were stunning and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend them!
Anne Marie was wonderful to work with and seemed to have understood my vision immediately. After meeting with her for the first time and seeing how organized her office was, I knew I could trust her vision and I didn't feel the need to micro-manage or question her choices- I knew my wedding flowers would be beautiful. She sent me a photo of my bridal bouquet the day before the wedding which I really appreciated. I did want to add a little more hanging greens and have some buds removed and she was happy to make any requested changes. The bouquet turned out beautiful and the ballroom where my reception was even better than I could have imagined! She nailed the romantic and lush theme I envisioned.
This woman was a horror to work with for one of my close friends. Unfortunately, my friend called off her wedding and this woman was heartless about the whole situation. I would advise everyone to read the contract extremely closely, as you get 0% of the deposit back if you cancel, even though there is an extremely high probability of being able book another event for a Saturday in Tulsa in the summer. She wouldn't even allow the services to be transferred to another wedding, as if that would have been a loss to her... She is also, in my opinion, over priced compared to other shops. Would not recommend working with this woman to anyone. I have seen through my friend how awful she was to work with. At the end of the day, you want a person who exercises empathy in the event that anything goes wrong.
Anne Marie Foy is an amazing floral visionary. I gave her minimal information with which to work: my bright wedding colors, individual blooms at each reception place setting, and where we wanted floral pieces for the ceremony and reception. She created beautiful arrangements that were the highlight of the wedding. She sent me pics before the wedding of the bouquets to see if I wanted any changes, but they were exactly what I dreamed of (no changes needed). The individual blooms at the reception were gorgeous for the guests to take home. They are still posting pics on facebook several days after the event and hundreds of mile travelled. We also were able to rent an arch from her for the wedding, which completed the ceremony décor wonderfully. I would highly recommend her.
I met with Ann three times because I kept changing my mind, she was wonderful each time and really helped me figure out what i wanted my flowers to look like. She took me around their work area to show me different pieces, vases, and flowers and help me see exactly how things look in person versus pictures. Day of the wedding I was not happy with the bouquets, she sent for more flowers and redid them right then!
While the craftsmanship was expert, the final product was both underwhelming and somewhat unexpected. I made a few specific requests that I was told were doable, but on the day of my wedding I found out that drastic creative liberties were taken without being discussed beforehand, and therefore the final product was extremely disappointing. I also felt that the bouquets used by the bridal party were too small across the board and that the colors were not right. In the end I'm not convinced that the final product was worth the premium we paid for flowers and would hesitate to send friends.
I would strongly urge other brides to find another florist in the Tulsa area and DO NOT use Petite Fleur or The French Bouquet. My understanding is that Petite Fleur is supposed to be the "lower cost" option of the business. I hardly think my flowers were low cost (around $1600 dollars for a 50 person wedding) and my experience was that they equated lower cost as less important and not worth giving their full time and attention. I met with Anne Marie twice and sent her numerous pictures of the style of bouquet and centerpieces that I wanted. I got married at Five Oaks Lodge in Jenks on September 1, 2013. I made it clear that I wanted my flowers to reflect the rustic setting and that I wanted them to represent my colors which were aubergine purple, olive green, and tangerine orange. While my bouquet was very pretty and what I had asked for, the style and colors were not at all carried out in the rest of the flowers. I had asked for the bridesmaids bouquets to be smaller versions of my bouquet. They were instead predominantly white with a few peach colored flowers, which I guess was meant to be the orange I had requested. The same white and peach flowers made up the centerpieces, which was particularly disappointing. In one of my meetings with Anne Marie I specifically stated that as the tablecloths were burlap and the napkins were ivory, I was depending on the flowers to provide the color at the table. I was expecting a wildflower type mix of vibrant purple, orange, and green. Instead I got white. In the same meeting my mother requested that her corsage not be orange, which Anne Marie noted. However, on the day all the corsages were that same peach "faux orange" color, as were the cake flowers. The flowers were so off that when I arrived at the venue I was sure they must have brought the flowers for the wrong wedding. I will say that the flowers I did receive were pretty enough and seemed to be good quality, they just were not at all what I had wanted and clearly communicated to Anne Marie. I emailed Anne Marie after the wedding and she acknowledged that the flowers were not what I had asked for and said that she had not given her staff enough detail about my requests and she herself had been tied up with another event the same weekend. It was so disappointing after the months of planning and thought I had put in to every detail of my wedding, not to mention the cost. When I am spending that much money on a product I expect to get what I asked for or at least be notified if there is a reason that it can not be provided. Anne Marie never contacted me to indicate that a certain color was not available or that there were issues meeting my requests because of cost issues. Several weeks before the wedding, I emailed Anne Marie to ask for specifics on what kind of flowers she was planning to use and picture examples. Anne Marie just dismissively replied that there would be a mix of flowers and that it would be based on the pictures I had sent her. I wish I had been more of a bridezilla and pushed for specific details. It is clear that the problems with my flowers occurred because Anne Marie simply didn't properly communicate with her staff and did not give my wedding the special attention and detail every bride deserves. If you want to feel that your vendors value your special day and will make every effort to give you want you want, I recommend that you do not use Petite Fleur and avoid the disappointment I experienced.
Anne Marie did a terrific job on my flowers. They were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. She was responsive, listened to my ideas and gave her own suggestions without being pushy. I would definetly recommend her for weddings.
I have honestly never seen a more beautiful arrangement of flowers for a wedding than what Ann Marie can do!
I cannot say one bad thing about French Bouquet in Tulsa. Anne Marie is amazing, her work is absolutely beautiful. She also gave us great advice and tips on our decor. She really works with your budget to make your day perfect!
The French Bouquet made my bridal bouquet and it was beautiful, I did not want it to die ever. Thank you!
Ann-Marie Foy at The French Bouquet was such a pleasure to work with! From day 1, I felt confident with her, knowing that everything was going to turn out perfect! When I saw the flowers on my wedding day, I have to say, they were even better than I had expected! She is so detail oriented and works hard to gain a perfect result. People at the wedding kept commenting on how beautiful the centerpieces and bouquets had turned out. I would definitely recommend The French Bouquet to future brides in the Oklahoma area!
Anne-Marie was a wonderful florist. She helped me with my design and ideas. My bouquet turned out beautiful and so did the center pieces. She also gave us other information about how to decorate and so on.
Overall pretty satisfied with how everything turned out...but they didn't blow my socks off.
Not only is this a great value, the flowers and service cannot be topped. This was the only florist anyone (including other vendors) recommended to me, and I can see why. Anne-Marie (sp?) is a great deal while being a perfectionist.
The French Bouquet did an amazing job with my flowers. Everyone commented on how beautiful they were and how unique they were. I had blue and white hydrangeas and she added some others to our table arrangements. She used milk glass groupings for our centerpieces, which were gorgeous. She is very professional and a pleasure to work with. You can trust her to make your wedding gorgeous.
Anne Marie and her team at the French Bouquet are fantastic. Anne Marie works with you individually to determine the overall style of your wedding and dress to help decide the best florals for your wedding. I showed her a few photos of what I had in mind and she gave me something more beautiful that I could have imagined. A plus for this business is if you find the French Bouquet's prices a bit steep, they have a sister company called Petite Fleur that uses local, seasonal flowers. Check out their website and blog. This team and group are amazing! I highly, highly recommend The French Bouquet!
