The French Farmhouse is a charming venue located in rural Collinsville, Texas. Nestled on a stunning 56-acre property, it is an idyllic setting for special events. The venue has been carefully designed incorporating beautiful antiques, and French accents to create a romantic ambiance with a rustic flair. At the Farmhouse you will have a choice of several picturesque ceremony spots, including the stunning “Wedding Tree” behind the venue. Here you can say “I do” under blanketing branches of an ancient oak tree, surrounded by your friends and family. The event lawn, where the tree is located, seamlessly transitions to a sophisticated cocktail hour for your guests while you and your new spouse explore the grounds to capture the perfect pictures to remember your special day. The indoor space of the venue makes the perfect place for an unforgettable reception. You will be surrounded by carefully curated antiques from all around the world, for you and your guests to marvel at. The French Farmhouse is a family owned and operated wedding venue. Michelle and Steve Scribner were high school sweethearts, who have been blessed with triplets. Cole, Collin and Kelsey, now grown, assist in creating and facilitating couples’ wedding days. Daughter, and co-owner, Kelsey studied Communications and Sports Management at Texas A&M University. She went on to work in sports event management for several years and believes that her previous work has perfectly prepared her for assisting two families in joining. The Scribner family is dedicated to creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you and your guests to enjoy and remember for years to come. The team offers several tailored packages to help bring your vision to life. You can coordinate with external wedding planners and vendors to ensure that every detail of your day is perfect for you. From caterers to table décor and design, couples are free to source the services of their choice. The in-house team will happily accommodate set-up and clean-up. COMING SUMMER 2022- The French Farmhouse is expanding and is opening The Chapel! The Chapel will be hidden in the oak trees next to the Farmhouse and will hold 250 guests. It will have the same charm and antique touches that the venue has and will be available starting summer 2022. k with. I did not actually do a private tour of the venue and only attended an open house and a wedding there, but the process of booking the venue was very smooth! They were very communicative throughout the planning process and scheduling for my bridal session. The space itself is even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos, and it is evident the FFH team loves it and cares for it well! Our wedding was in January so I knew I wanted a venue that was beautiful all on its own without a ton of decoration and even with bare trees, and the FFH was perfect!

e. But the venue itself is what is most breathtaking. It’s dreamy, romantic, and beautifully decorated with curated pieces from around the world. Michelle and Kelsey greeted us with an abundance of kindness from the moment we first met them. Michelle took us around the venue, showing us every detail, including the new chapel that was in the works to be built. When we first saw the chapel, it was only a vision yet to be created—the foundation was up, but that was it. After spending such a wonderful time with Michelle and seeing the incredible venue, we decided to book that night. We couldn’t wait. We attended open houses and had the chance to visit the venue a couple other times during the planning process. I was making excuses to visit the venue, see the construction of the chapel, and dream about our upcoming wedding day. Kelsey and Michelle truly make you feel like friends and are always welcoming! I so appreciate that I didn’t have to pay extra for bridals or to visit the venue for planning (which I know other venues do). When we finally got to see the chapel fully built, I was blown away. You could put no additional decorations and it would still be stunning. I knew we had made the right choose. Even on our wedding day, the sun was shining perfectly through all of the windows on our ceremony. It could not have been more perfect. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible the venue was. From the beautiful decor, to the light and airy setting with an abundance of windows, and even the bridal suite is just perfect. I really cannot recommend this venue enough. It is beyond the perfect place to say “I do!” Book them now!! 💕

tour the French Farmhouse. Once we stepped onto the property and met the Scribners, we knew we HAD to get married there. So, we booked our wedding date the same day we toured! Throughout the ten months of wedding planning, Kelsey was incredibly supportive and answered any and all of my questions. She was super communicative with my planner and every single vendor I had booked. She basically was an angel during such a stressful time! On the day of the wedding, everything went so well. Kelsey was essentially the biggest hype-woman the whole day and made me feel even more excited than I already was! I received multiple compliments from guests about how beautiful the venue was, and how it was a perfect place for me and my husband to get married. We loved having a separate space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything flowed so naturally! We are so incredibly thankful for the Scribner family and the French Farmhouse Venue. Michelle's the visionary behind the venue, and just like her daughter, she gives off a warm, confident, 'you've been family friends with them for years' vibe. Although the venue is still under construction, their "Inn" gives a great preview of what the final product will look like - and it's absolutely stunning. Straight out of a magazine, not one detail spared. When you walk through the venue, Michelle explains it all with such passion and knowledge that I trust her completely. As if this family affair couldn't get any better, we also met Steve (the father) as he was working hard on building the fence for the property. The whole family is incredible, invested, and a joy to be around. I'm officially booked with The French Farmhouse and Kelsey answers all of my never-ending questions promptly and makes everything a breeze. Visit this place! You'll fall in love too.

o the Inn, Michelle is one that has a way of painting a picture of the vision she has for the venue. The drive, property, prayer trail, Inn and soon to be Venue is only 1/3 of the reason Kyle and I chose The French Farmhouse to be the start of our forever. Michelle, Kelsey and Steve welcomed us with open arms making us feel like a part of their family, and that left a lasting impression on us. We have seen already the heart Michelle and Kelsey have to get to know each and every couple on a personal level. and the pieces she has are very French and detailed. As soon as you turn onto county road 215 it’s a dream. It consists of an old dirt road and lots of trees. You know when you get to the venue because of the white fence and the rocked entrance. The inn and the views from the back of the inn are breathtaking. The back porch overlooks the beautiful pond. And honestly, what’s more more peaceful and dreamy then a beautiful property encompassed by tons of trees and land out in the middle of no where, that you can stand in and hear the birds, wind and other aspects of the outdoors. When choosing a venue this is what my dream wedding consisted of. While touring, Michelle and Kelsey ensured all of our questions were answered and made us feel like a part of their family. This venue, though new, will be the venue for 2020 and on no doubt!
