The Frick's unique complex of museums, historic buildings, outdoor spaces, and beautiful gardens will offer a memorable experience for your guests. Here, you’ll experience the culture and refinement of the Gilded Age. The Frick Pittsburgh is a historical site and museum formed around the estate and collection of the 19th-century industrialist, Henry Clay Frick. On the over 5 acres of grounds, you can find the Frick's home, greenhouse, and children's Playhouse, as well as the art museum and car museum. A rental event at the Frick includes the venue location(s) only – as well as access to restrooms, water, electricity, and parking in our secure lot. The Frick Pittsburgh does not provide any party planning services. This means you will be responsible for contacting any vendors for tenting, event rentals, catering/bar services, florists, photographers, musicians, etc. Visit our website for more information and images: https://www.thefrickpittsburgh.org/rentals The Frick's site offers an indoor location as well as outdoor locations: The Great Lawn - The Great Lawn of our historic Clayton Mansion is a premium venue like no other in the city. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and towering trees, this space is the perfect setting for large events. The Great Lawn can fit a tented reception with a seated meal for up to 250 people or a cocktails and hors d'oeuvre party with a mix of high tables and seating for up to 300. Tenting is required and can be provided through Approved Vendors. The Community Room- The Community Room is a contemporary, indoor location, perfect for customization. As our smallest rental space, it can accommodate a sit-down dinner for up to 60 guests, rows or chairs for a ceremony of 60, or standing cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for up to 70 with limited seating. For larger weddings, it is a great location for music and dancing or high-top tables for a cocktail area. The Community Room, Courtyard & Terrace- Need more space than just the Community Room? Open the three sets of French doors and allow the evening's activities to spill out onto the beautiful Community Courtyard. The Community Courtyard can accommodate a tent with a sit-down dinner for up to 150 people or rows of chairs for a ceremony for up to 170. Seeking the perfect cocktail party environment? Add the Community Terrace and enjoy music and drinks outside with rain protection from a beautiful, well-lit overhang. The Community Terrace can accommodate up to 50 guests for a standing cocktail hour, or 40 seated in rows for a small ceremony. The Orchard- The Orchard sits next to the Frick's garden and Victorian Playhouse. This picturesque location is available for ceremonies only for up to 150 people as an add-on to the Community Room. This outdoor space is not able to be tented, so any rain plans for ceremonies in this space must take place in your reception space.
