Music was essentially the staple of our wedding. We had an amazing vocalist for our ceremony and immediately following The Frye was playing the ballroom across the hall. After the ...
receiving line the guests were guided into the ballroom, where The Frye was already playing, the candles were lit, wine was flowing, it was quite the impact. They played for 2 hours during our cocktail reception before dinner and as I was greeting people almost everyone either complimented The Frye or inquired about who they were, where I got them or if they play locally. I had heard them several times before and knew they would be perfect. We had a rather large wedding with a very relaxed, dark, candle lit, romantic but a little rock and roll themed wedding and they fit in perfectly. They were on time, polite and professional. The set list was anything from America to Jim Croche and everything in between. I highly recommend this trio for a wedding, they would be perfect for an anniversary party, graduation, really anything!
We heard The Frye at a few local venues and decided they would be a great band to have for our wedding reception. They were more than great... they were amazing! Everybody loved li...
stening to The Frye. It was something both friends and family could enjoy. They played a good variety of songs that were all very appropriate for a wedding reception. They even learned a song for our "first dance" (Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way". It was very easy working with The Frye. We coordinated through email and it all went so well. They let us use their mic for speeches and were very accommodating with timing. Guests danced periodically during the evening, especially towards the end, however, most importantly we had great, live background music for a fun night with family and friends visiting and celebrating our very special day. Thanks Frye!!
We loved having the Frye as our wedding band. They played the reception and worked in classics and old-school rock as we requested. They even learned a song overnight to play for m...
y Aunt who was from Kentucky, "Kentucky Woman." It is with complete delight that I give my highest recommendation to the Frye!
I had Joe and Ann (The Frye) sing at my wedding in July of 2012. I had seen them sing at local bars and restaurants with my parents and they suggested I hire them for cocktail hour...
before our reception.
Working with them was very easy. I was VERY stressed about organizing everything else, so it was nice to have people who knew what they were doing and didn't need much direction. They communicated with my venue, set up everything they needed, and were ready to go before the first guests arrived at the reception. I didn't even have to think about them - which means a lot to a stressed bride.
I was not at our venue for cocktail hour, so I did not get to hear them perform. However, there were several complements from my guests and they appreciated the mix of familiar songs The Frye performed.
I have no complaints about The Frye. I used them as entertainment/background music during cocktail hour and they served their purpose extremely well. I would definitely recommend them.
The Frye brought a lovely and personal touch to our daughter's wedding day. They were willing to do some new songs that we requested for the walk down the aisle and for their firs...
t dance. The Frye played for the wedding ceremony and also for our cocktail hour and first dance. They play music that you will know and love, and they look great doing it too! I would highly recommend that you go see them for yourself and you will see why they would be great for your wedding.
I asked ann and joe to sing at my ceremony and my reception. this collaboration resulted in 2 wonderful, talented people creating a band; The Frye. They sounded beautiful during ...
our wedding. I have really good memories of these two being the voices that help make such a wonderful day even more special. they also sang our first dance and there have been many times since that day that my husband and I have been on a date listening to them perform and they sing that first dance song for us. our wedding was made unique and beyond satisfying, thanks to The Frye.
We chose The Frye to sing and play at our ceremony and during our cocktail hour. I cannot stress enough what a fantastic job they did! We had so many compliments from guests of al...
l ages for both performances and could not be more happy with our choice! Ann and Joe are very professional and easy to work with. Here's a bonus for all you brides and grooms out there- The Frye genuinely want to make your wedding day about you and your fiance and they are happy to work with you to choose music to make it that way. I would recommend them to anybody for any occasion, but especially for your wedding!
