About this vendor
The Gage Hotel is a historic Spanish-style hotel and wedding venue located in Marathon, Texas. Built in 1927 and nestled in the scenic Texas Mountain Region, this sophisticated and versatile wedding destination is the perfect setting for a destination wedding.
The Gage offers almost all-inclusive services. We handle almost every detail including all catering, staff, bar, set up and rentals, coordination, floral and décor and wedding cake. We have about five options for ceremony/reception and can handle everything from rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, ceremony, reception, and farewell breakfast. Because we handle almost everything, we make a great choice for busy professionals who don’t want the stress of managing the details of a destination wedding. For the services we do not provide - music and photographer - we provide a preferred list of professionals that we trust and recommend.
Clients must block the entire hotel during the busy season and commit their guests to a minimum two night stay.

We planned our small (85 person) West Texas wedding from afar. Michelle and Meagan worked with us from the jump to book fabulous videographers (31 Films), photographers (The Nichol...
s), and the best wedding band anyone had ever seen or heard (The Mott’s). The venue appealed to us both for sentimental reasons but also because it was a one stop shop. Michelle and her team took care of every detail for us from linens to flowers to food and cake. It made wedding planning for two busy professionals a breeze. The flowers were stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. All of our guests stayed on site and loved the accommodations - the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. All of our guests remarked at how seamlessly the day ran. If you are considering getting married anywhere near Big Bend, I can’t recommend the team at the Gage enough.

vided what we were envisioning and that our guests were comfortable. The room block was easy to manage, the rooms were perfect, the flowers were absolutely phenomenal, and the food was the best anyone had ever had at a wedding. I highly recommend you talking to the Gage if you're considering getting married in the Big Bend area. All of our guests continue to rave about the Gage, and we are so happy that we chose to get married in Marathon.

ave lots of ideas and advice. The hotel and grounds are just stunning. We had a little pop up rain shower that wasn’t on the radar in the afternoon. I was so impressed at how it was “all hands on deck” to keep it from becoming a big deal. An hour later you couldn’t tell it happened. The guests were blown away! Best destination wedding ever. Thanks Michelle and others at The Gage!
