The Gage Hotel is a historic Spanish-style hotel and wedding venue located in Marathon, Texas. Built in 1927 and nestled in the scenic Texas Mountain Region, this sophisticated and versatile wedding destination is the perfect setting for a destination wedding.
The Gage offers almost all-inclusive services. We handle almost every detail including all catering, staff, bar, set up and rentals, coordination, floral and décor and wedding cake. We have about five options for ceremony/reception and can handle everything from rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, ceremony, reception, and farewell breakfast. Because we handle almost everything, we make a great choice for busy professionals who don’t want the stress of managing the details of a destination wedding. For the services we do not provide - music and photographer - we provide a preferred list of professionals that we trust and recommend.
Clients must block the entire hotel during the busy season and commit their guests to a minimum two night stay.
Accommodation
This 45-room hotel provides premier luxury and a multitude of amenities and activities. From a full-service spa and heated swimming pool to a fitness center and planned outings to Big Bend National Park, The Gage Hotel offers guests a variety of on-site entertainment. In addition to our beautiful facilities, we have three restaurants, The 12 Gage, V6 Coffee Bar and the Brick Vault BBQ and Brewery.

s), and the best wedding band anyone had ever seen or heard (The Mott’s). The venue appealed to us both for sentimental reasons but also because it was a one stop shop. Michelle and her team took care of every detail for us from linens to flowers to food and cake. It made wedding planning for two busy professionals a breeze. The flowers were stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. All of our guests stayed on site and loved the accommodations - the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. All of our guests remarked at how seamlessly the day ran. If you are considering getting married anywhere near Big Bend, I can’t recommend the team at the Gage enough.
