t feel our concerns were appropriately addressed. Our experience with the venue was fine until it came to voicing these concerns. The bride's dress got dirty shortly after arriving at the venue and before the ceremony began. The male owner claimed it was due to the bride walking onto the patio for about one minute, despite it continuing to get dirtier throughout the venue inside. He then got loud and was concerned about their "reputation" and noted that "contractually" they filled their obligations. We used Double B's BBQ for dinner which is owned by the same family as the venue. Many guests complained the food was cold and when the DJ inquired about announcing for seconds as it was a buffet, he was told no and that the staff hadn't eaten yet. The female owner, Judy, noted 10 extra plates were put out for anyone to get seconds, despite there being about 170 guests. We also elected to add on coffee for the reception through the venue. It was never discussed that this would be limited to "one pot" and any extra would cost more until the reception was occurring. It felt like the owners had an excuse for everything instead of acknowledging the concerns and the male owner was unprofessional at times while speaking to him.

up to the wedding ensuring everything we wanted day of was handled! We did our ceremony in their main space, then moved everyone next door to The Gathering for cocktail hour. Guests also had access to the upstairs loft area, where we had another bar open as well as cigars for them to enjoy on the patio. Afterwards, we had dinner back in the main room, and it just flowed seamlessly. The staff there really know what they're doing, and if you get the coordinator package, they handle everything for you the day and night of, including cleaning up all your decor! It's a modern, industrial vibe that we warmed up with dark linens and lots of florals. But honestly, the space itself is beautiful and doesn't need a lot.

d of speaks for itself was our goal. The Gage obviously meets all those criteria with the beautiful exposed beams and brick throughout, adding an extra flare with their beautiful staircase. We were between a few venues in the area and what really sold us on the Gage were the online reviews that their day of coordinating team had. As we wanted as little stress as possible day of, seeing such raving reviews about their planners made us very confident in our choice. In the year or so leading up to our wedding we were in regular communication with their team, particularly Liv who was so helpful and kind. Their open access events every few months also gave us the chance to show our family members the venue and explore vendor options! In the 2 months leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication with Liv and she made us feel so confident that all of our final details were going to work out perfectly. I was able to drop my personal decor off at the venue a few days early which was great and the day of coordinating team that we purchased took it from there! I really wish I knew all their names to thank them properly, but everyone from our lead coordinator Kristen, Shannon, bartenders and so many other folks patrolling the venue were truly outstanding. They did so much behind the scenes and it was seriously just perfect. Perfect and beautiful decor set up and quick tear down, never a line at the bars, vigilant watch over our gift table, and even going above and beyond to help us with a problem we had with our late night food are just a few of the items on a long list of perfect services from their team. Oh, and they were all so so kind and excited for us all day making us feel so special :) the Gage will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend this venue and their team enough! 

am city brick mixed with a modern feel. We also loved how close the bar was to the dance floor, so our guests continued to dance the night away with us. Leading up the wedding, we primarily worked with Olivia, and she was so wonderful!! She took us on our initial tour and worked with us through the final planning meeting. She was so fun, upbeat, and excited for us, and was also very receptive to the many questions we had along the way of planning. I couldn’t recommend The Gage enough for your wedding reception!!
