Located in Milwaukee, WI, The Gage is an industrial wedding venue. The venue space sits just minutes away from the downtown Milwaukee area and blends its modern aesthetic with a sense of history. The exterior is classic cream brick, while the interior is a spacious blank canvas.
With years in the wedding industry, we are genuinely passionate about helping people have unforgettable events! When it comes to planning your big day, we are here to support you in whatever way we can. No matter how intimate or grand your celebration, we are excited to bring your vision to life.
The Gage covers 7,000 square feet of space, and can comfortably accommodate celebrations with up to 300 guests. In this venue, you will find a chic industrial space on the lower level, while a loft sits above that is perfect for intimate ceremonies or cocktail hours. It also features two get-ready rooms for the couple to use, offering a private setting where they and their party can relax. A large, well-equipped kitchen is ready for your chosen catering company to use while they prepare your wedding meal. A classic handcrafted bar, stretching over 28 feet, offers ample opportunities for a champagne toast to your love.
We are happy to give couples a tour, helping them to envision what their special day could look like. The venue has a number of features to help you make your day memorable. As well as weddings, we can also host corporate events!

up to the wedding ensuring everything we wanted day of was handled! We did our ceremony in their main space, then moved everyone next door to The Gathering for cocktail hour. Guests also had access to the upstairs loft area, where we had another bar open as well as cigars for them to enjoy on the patio. Afterwards, we had dinner back in the main room, and it just flowed seamlessly. The staff there really know what they're doing, and if you get the coordinator package, they handle everything for you the day and night of, including cleaning up all your decor! It's a modern, industrial vibe that we warmed up with dark linens and lots of florals. But honestly, the space itself is beautiful and doesn't need a lot.

d of speaks for itself was our goal. The Gage obviously meets all those criteria with the beautiful exposed beams and brick throughout, adding an extra flare with their beautiful staircase. We were between a few venues in the area and what really sold us on the Gage were the online reviews that their day of coordinating team had. As we wanted as little stress as possible day of, seeing such raving reviews about their planners made us very confident in our choice. In the year or so leading up to our wedding we were in regular communication with their team, particularly Liv who was so helpful and kind. Their open access events every few months also gave us the chance to show our family members the venue and explore vendor options! In the 2 months leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication with Liv and she made us feel so confident that all of our final details were going to work out perfectly. I was able to drop my personal decor off at the venue a few days early which was great and the day of coordinating team that we purchased took it from there! I really wish I knew all their names to thank them properly, but everyone from our lead coordinator Kristen, Shannon, bartenders and so many other folks patrolling the venue were truly outstanding. They did so much behind the scenes and it was seriously just perfect. Perfect and beautiful decor set up and quick tear down, never a line at the bars, vigilant watch over our gift table, and even going above and beyond to help us with a problem we had with our late night food are just a few of the items on a long list of perfect services from their team. Oh, and they were all so so kind and excited for us all day making us feel so special :) the Gage will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend this venue and their team enough!

The Gage but ended up switching our venue about 3 months prior to our wedding and truly it was the best thing that happened. From the moment we started working with them they blew us away. They are very prompt with their responses, and up front with everything they offer. I remember on our tour Nina described coming down the stairs to meet my father before walking down the aisle and I couldn't stop picturing that moment. Every person we interacted with while planning and on the wedding day was so kind! Olivia did a great job with our month of meeting, prompt responses, and reviewing every detail. Jay was so helpful with our rehearsal and helping with set up! I even shared a dance on our wedding with Grumpy! We felt like making sure our day was perfect was every employee's priority! ion between Olivia and myself prior to our event - she is truly a life savor and communicated with me frequently the months leading up to our wedding, answering all of my questions. We met Jay at our final meeting and he helped us envision what the venue would look like the day of and gave us loads of options of how we wanting lighting and setup. We were assured that the room flip and clean up would be seamless and we were not disappointed. These two are a dynamic due and truly made us feel comfortable and special! I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for us.
Eve was our morning of staff member that organized the day and accommodated our requests with ease. She was kind and listened as I walked her through what my plans were for the day. The rest of the event staff all lived up to the hype as well, from the bartenders to the night manager really proved that they are the experts!
I highly recommend booking your wedding, or any event here, not just because the space is gorgeous, but because the staff employed here are the best of the best! They make it clear that you are their main focus and that you deserve the best day of your life. They are professionals and know exactly how to execute a flawless day! Everything went perfectly and you will not be disappointed by the outcome.

o wonderful! The venue itself is so dreamy - the perfect mix of industrial, warm and very "Milwaukee" with the cream city brick and exposed loft. We had both ceremony and reception there and it was so smooth. The initial welcome packet with preferred vendors and online portal for planning is extremely helpful for every single need! The Gage staff is so friendly and just genuinely happy and excited for their couples and you can tell just by their email correspondences back and forth.
It makes complete sense to have the "day of coordination" add on because you will be lost without it (unless you hire an outside wedding planner/coordinator of some kind) but as mentioned above is an ADD ON and costed an additional $1,000. Other add-ons that make sense like the wrap up package (cleaning up at end of the night), coffee bar, string lights and greenery are all added costs to the base price of the venue rental itself which got tacked on 2 weeks prior to wedding day and can be a hefty added cost so close to the wedding day. Well worth it but definitely plan ahead for that kind of stuff!
The only thing for us was the photography options for the bridal party. From the feedback I got, most brides/bridal parties stay onsite and doing wedding photos in the alley and around the venue but we didn't want our only wedding photos to be the black wall in the alley and 70th st so we did have to find a local park nearby which required more time, money, planning etc so that part sucked but also worth it to have more nature focused wedding photos.

Our 240 person guest list had plenty of space to move around throughout the night! Having a pre set list of vendors that work well in the space made booking everything else a breeze! All the vendors seem to get along so well and all spoke so highly of each other. As a “type a” bride this made me feel very confident in our choice at the Gage!

e way. They offer a portal once you book your venue that is extremely helpful in planning your big day. It has recommended vendors, floor plans, and much much more. This was a lifesaver in the planning process after I booked them. You do have to use one of their approved caterers but they give you a decent amount of options. We went with Timbers Catering, which operates out of The Gage's kitchen and people are still raving about our food. We have 137 people and had plenty of space for everyone. Ashley, Amanda and the rest of the staff were so helpful when I had any questions when it came to planning and made sure the day ran smoothly. Once you give them a list of all your vendors, they take over making sure everything is taken care of for the day. There was always someone there making sure we had everything we needed the day of. This venue is gorgeous for a wedding if you want beautiful pictures. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get married in the Milwaukee area.

Every time a Gage Staff member saw me they asked me if I needed anything. Anything I asked for they had. If I forgot something, they had it. Our closing night manager Michael was amazing. He catered to me, my daughter and her husband. The Gage made the day so carefree and special. I can't believe how quickly they flipped the venue. During the cocktail hour, the Bride and Groom specialty drinks were already prepared and the guests simply grabbed one off the drink wall. Guests did not have to wait in long lines to get drinks. From the start, Ashley, Nina and Amanda were very open to help us with questions and made sure we understood the contract and pricing, etc. We selected the day of coordination and Ashley was WONDERFUL. She had every detail exactly how we planned and made sure nothing was missed. She was even checking up on us to see if we needed anything or if there was anything she could do to make things better (but it was already perfect). We received several comments from our family/friends on how great the bar staff was and how quickly they got their drinks. We also took advantage of the wrap down service which was great at helping us clean up and be able to enjoy every minute of dancing without worrying about taking everything down.
We truly cannot say enough good things about this venue - thank you Ashley, Nina and Amanda for making our day a dream come true!!

visualize our special day there. The Bridal Ready Room and the Grooms Suite had just the most amazing touches!!! The Gage really thought of just about everything to make your day extra perfect- from perfect photo ops to a seamless transition from ceremony to party time. We were told numerous times how AMAZING the venue was and how much fun the guests had! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

ge and it’s staff/owners were a breath of fresh air. The main team, Ashley, Nina, and Amanda were kind, attentive, and organized throughout the WHOLE process. Even with last minute seating chart and set up changes, they remained positive and warm. On the day of, I felt as if they were throwing a wedding for their best friend or family. They were by my side cheering me on and making every dream I have ever had come true. They and their staff were extremely professional and collected even under stress. I had a large wedding of 200 people, but everything went off seamlessly and the venue itself was absolutely stunning. If I could recommend this venue and tram to every couple I would. Five stars isn’t enough!

I was very stressed out with everything going on and they made me feel calm with how organized they were and there for ever step of the planning.
