e was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. She communicated every step of the way and made us feel so comfortable by the day of the wedding. The venue is stunning and has the perfect balance of a New Orleans vibe mixed with rustic/industrial. The two separate areas allowed for easy guest flow and gave people the chance to step away from the music for a break, if needed. Our guests also LOVED the courtyard - people were out there all night! The entire Gallery staff was wonderful and professional and the food was outstanding. We're still getting compliments about it a few weeks later! Mary was our personal attendant for the evening and she was incredible. Always made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hand and made sure we had time to eat before our entrance. She took great care of us and my parents! We would 100% recommend The Gallery for a NOLA wedding! The location is also AMAZING. Just far enough away from Bourbon and the Quarter but still a hopping area at night. The restaurants were packed when we did our second line and it was so fun to celebrate with our guests and everyone who was out and about. Huge thanks to The Gallery and staff for an incredible wedding day!

e were different rooms for people that wanted to party and for guests that wanted a more quiet atmosphere. It is also a beautiful venue so you don't need to spend a ton of money to decorate. The food through Creole Cuisine was also amazing and we had many guests compliment the food. Emily was super responsive and easy to work with too. We could not have picked a better venue for our reception!

The bridal suite upstairs is bigger than it looks and was a great space to have some quiet moments with my wedding party before the ceremony. The attendant took care of me and my husband all night. The staff was so joyful and also very nice to our guests. We've had more than one person compliment how amazing they were. After the wedding, a large group of us just walked over to the New Orleans Social House (NOSH) across the street. Beforehand, the groom and I rented apartments in The Refinery just two blocks away. It was a perfect walk for us to get wedding party photos too. Our guests had ample hotels to choose from outside of the one we had a room block with just a block away. Not only is The Gallery Venue itself amazing, but its people are great. It is in an amazing spot near awesome things. I 100% recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a party.

best wedding food they have ever had. We had the room upstairs to relax for a couple minutes before we were announced. Emily with Tomas was so easy to work with and so sweet and accommodating. We were also provider with a butler that was ready to get us whatever we need that night! Every time I turned around she was there making sure that I had a drink and food! Honestly I am so in love with this venue!

due to COVID they had to cancel it due to the government restrictions at that time. According to our contract, we are to receive a full refund. Here it is in December and we haven’t received a penny back. We’ve reached out several times to receive our deposits back but no one will respond. Apparently they’re having events there now so I don’t understand why we haven’t received our money back. It sucks to have a business hold our money during tough times like this!

now than it was before. The space was large enough to fit our ~150 guests very comfortably. It was nice that there is an area away from the band for guests who don't want to be near the loud music and for anyone who wants to take a quick break. And the exposed brick is so gorgeous. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and the turnover between the two was super fast. The room was beautiful for the ceremony. They also have a convenient room above the main room where the my dad and I stayed before walking down the aisle. And they hid us in there before the reception so we could actually eat something. Emily is such a great person to work with, she answered all of our millions of questions, helped us find vendors, and really made organizing everything easy. Kyle was amazing the day of our wedding as well. And Jacob made sure we got food, cake, and drinks the day of the wedding amid all the madness! The food is SO GOOD! My personal favorite was the shrimp and grits, I still dream about it sometimes. This was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is beautiful and the staff are a joy to work with.

to work with. We had both our ceremony and reception on site and have no regrets. In the beginning of our planning process, my husband and I were very torn on our ceremony venue, as we both grew up faithfully inclined to the Catholic and Lutheran church; however, we are very happy we decided to stay in one place for both ceremony and reception. Our guests appreciated this too and mentioned how convenient this was. We brought in our Lutheran Pastor to officiate and the Gallery room was so beautiful and inviting - it made for an intimate, spiritual setting like we had envisioned. The room transformation after the ceremony was quick and seamless and we got rave reviews from our guests on the food. The upstairs suite was perfect for my hubby and I to retreat to after the ceremony for a quick meal and rest before the fun! This venue has the best vibes and I personally think the best "flow"! I loved everything about the atmosphere and it made for beautiful pictures and was a perfect space for our intimate guest list (app 100 guests came). Emily promptly answered my questions through the year and helped me with vendor suggestions. She also truly calmed me down the day of the ceremony, as we had transportation issues causing us some delays. She helped get me and our wedding party down the aisle with ease and full hearts! We had a second line at the end of the night, which led us out of the venue around the corner to Lucy’s. This was one of my favorite parts of our night! Tomas Bistro is located in such a fun, clean part of town. I was so happy my out of town guests got to experience the warehouse district in New Orleans, as this has always been my fav part of the city! Highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

I can't thank the team at Tomas Bistro enough; they turned what could have been a disaster into a dream wedding, and for that, I'm eternally grateful.

Emily was amazing to work with and always responded to our questions quickly. We did not want to detract from the beauty of the space with a lot of extra decorations. Emily suggested that they could put candles out for us, which added just the perfect extra touch of romantic ambiance. She also helped book security last minute when we found out the Saints were having a home game at the same time as our wedding. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional and ensured our guests were happy. Tomas Bistro was definitely the right choice for us and we couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else.

vibe and second of all, the food was soo delicious! Our wedding guest talked about how good the food was. Next Kyle & Elon were amazing. They made sure we were attended to during the entire wedding. Elon was super sweet and very attentive. Those three will make your wedding night go smoothly. Loved the location and it was perfect for a second line parade. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to hose our wedding.

ou could probably do without a fair bit of decor given how the space looks. A couple of things that I think are helpful to know: - if you want to just have your wedding ceremony and reception in the space, this works well since there is ample space for the cocktail hour while the gallery room is flipped for the reception - if you're not from NOLA, be aware that a lot of weddings are more reception style versus seated dinner. - We had a bit of back and forth on the wines included in our bar package, particularly because we went with the higher end bar package. This totally depends on you and your budget. While the liquor options were great in the higher end package, the wine options were not, but I will say Tomas Bistro worked with us a great deal on this one. - I did not do a tasting and we just relied on people's reviews. I will say that people came away saying that the food was great - unexpectedly good for wedding food is what I heard. This is another place where we went with the higher end package but this is also because we wanted to provide some vegetarian/vegan options. - I found the desserts and add-ons fairly expensive. I wound up bringing cake and some dessert bar options from another bakery and saved a fair bit of money. - The staff at Tomas Bistro are outstanding the day of the wedding. Cleaned up tables promptly, and our wedding attendant was constantly checking whether we had a drink and enough food. - There are plenty of bathrooms which is great! Guests didn't have to wait eons to go to the bathroom. - There are two bars so there never were, that I can recall, long lines. - Our wedding reception was 110 adults. We had seating for 115 or 116. I think anything bigger than this would have made it a pain to walk around and would have made the dance floor too small. My two cents, but maybe we could have arranged things differently. - You will likely need to bring in your own tables. Tomas has limited larger tables so consider that in your budget. They also have limited colors of linens so you will likely need to bring that in too. - I have no thoughts on parking because all of my guests were from out of town and moved via Lyft/Uber, but note that there is a trolley nearby and I believe there is some limited parking onsite. - Tomas was flexible in working with our vendors to deliver and pick things up - this can make a big difference if you want the party to go a bit later... - Although this is on the moderate side of wedding venues, it does add up once you include tax and tip and that it is likely you will want to extend the bar package for another hour. - This venue does not nickel and dime you. They really do work with you on expenses and this can make a big difference too when you don't feel like they will charge you for every small thing. - Upstairs rooms were great for kids. Hire a babysitter and that way the kids and parents can enjoy. The parents could just hop upstairs as necessary. At the end of the day, I loved the place and I'm a happy bride and I think that's ultimately what everyone wants!

Emily Radosta, my main contact for planning my event, was pleasant, always professional, and easy to work with. The night of the event, Kyle and the entire Tomas Bistro staff were terrific. I really can't say enough good things about Tomas Bistro. They helped me create a wonderful event and happy memories for the bride and groom, our family and friends. If you are planning to marry in New Orleans, Tomas Bistro is an outstanding choice for either your rehearsal dinner or your wedding.

The staff was amazing, and we couldn't have asked for more. Our event was laid out based on Emily's recommendations, and it worked out perfectly. With almost 200 people, there was never a line for drinks, and the flow was great. We (bride and groom) had a dedicated attendant for the night (Lloyd) who did a perfect job. He got us hot food to start the night (he made sure we actually had a chance to eat!), always kept our glasses full, and kept us on schedule (grabbed us for pictures, cake cutting, & tracked down my bouquet to toss at the end of the night). He even checked in on our bridal party throughout the night to see if they needed anything. The food was outstanding; we never did a tasting due to time constraints with our work schedule, and everything still turned out fantastic (everything on their menu is incredible). Our guests have not stopped raving about the beautiful interior, food, and prime downtown location. It was difficult getting them all to leave at the end of the night (the staff was very understanding and patient with us)!

Tomas Bistro didn't have what I needed so, instead of giving up, one of the employees went to Best Buy and bought 2 adapters (not 1 but 2- in case 1 didn't work.) I never expected them to do that. This was my own fault, not theirs. Tomas Bistro went above and beyond and saved my slide show. That alone would give them 5 stars! The sit-down dinner for 70 was in The Gallery Room which is as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures online. The only thing I remember about the food was how tender and perfectly cooked the tenderloin was. Everything else was a blur but I was told that the food was delicious. It was so nice to deal with professionals who really cared about how the dinner went. I would use them again and I highly recommend them.

s was the place we were going to get married. You'd never know how big and nice it was from the look of the outside/restaurant. But the entire space, including the restaurant, patio room and gallery room is yours for the night. My bridal party and I got ready in their bridal suite upstairs. Their wait staff was BEYOND helpful that day. They were with me constantly, asking if I needed anything, got me drinks, water, whatever I needed. They also tended to my parents the entire night, making sure they were well fed and had everything they needed. My husband and I went upstairs after our second line to eat dinner by ourselves and freshen up. The staff had brought us up plates of food along with all of the appetizers, and had an assortment of alcohol in the room for us to choose from. The venue truly doesn't need any decor except the centerpieces you would bring in yourself. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and the wait staff was extremely helpful/pleasant. The only MINOR issue I had was with the sales staff. I felt at times they weren't the best at communicating, although looking back, I was probably just being an anxious bride, because everything really did go perfectly as planned. I will say, I did hire a "friend of a friend day of planner" to help set up my cupcake display table, my guestbook/card/gift table, and centerpieces, because the venue did tell me that was not part of their responsibilities. So do keep that in mind. My day-of planner also stayed after the reception was over and cleaned up all of my decor and packed it into my car because you're not allowed to leave anything there over night and I wasn't going to worry about that myself the night of my wedding, and I wasn't going to ask one of my guests to handle that for me. I do feel like I took care of most of the planning/coordinating myself as opposed to really having much guidance from the sales staff, but that's probably more the roll a wedding planner would take on, not the venue sales team. I just knew I didn't want to pay for a wedding planner when I could do most things myself. All in all, we thought the venue was fabulous, everyone had rave reviews on the food, and the entire night was fabulous. Thanks again, Tomas Bistro!

The food was incredible and everyone raved about the experience! My mother in law had such an easy experience booking the venue, setting up, and more! I had so many guests come up to me and say, "Traditionally wedding event food is good, but never unforgettable. This dinner was FANTASTIC and we will never forget it". Our main dish was the Gulf Fish Meuniere and Petite Filet Mignon, preceded by Chicken and Andouille Gumbo and a house salad. The White Chocolate Bread pudding for dessert was divine. I can't express how fortunate I was to have found Tomas Bistro. I looked at Galatoire's, Antoine's, Broussard's, Commander's Palace, Antoine's etc. but Tomas Bistro, in my opinion, offered a more contemporary version of the New Orleans fare and the environment was a good combination of elegant, romantic and inviting. The entire experience was superb. How many people can say their event was FLAWLESS. Well, I can, thanks to Tomas Bistro.
