us. The contract was VERY clear and easy to understand. Mgt was very forthcoming with this information also:) She was helpful during set up and take down. She helped my guests find the restrooms. She met with us multiple times before the wedding and made sure we felt good before our big day. i would do my wedding here over and over. it was perfect.  a few things go note: -there is a hard stop time of 10 or 11pm. i can’t remember the exact time. we had a very early flight out for our honeymoon, so we didn’t mind:) this was clearly laid out in the contract.  -the actual mansion; think of it as a museum. kids shouldn’t be unaccompanied at a museum. we asked our guests under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult while in the home. (we had very few kids under the age of 16). the kids were able to enjoy the house and all the cool decor- and we had piece of mind knowing that beautiful house wasn’t disturbed:) -you can have a bigger wedding if it’s outside. if you plan on using the inside- the wedding will be much smaller. we had ~100-120 guests and there was plenty of space outside for everyone. it did rain, but not until the reception- we did use her “tent guy” and they were great. if you want to have the house as a back up plan, just be mindful of guest count.  -you get multiple dressing rooms where food and drinks are allowed. one even has an attached restroom -no open flames. no removal/destruction of nature/ wildlife (laid out clearly in contract). but! i will say- there was a wasp nest in the ground near our food, and mgt was extremely swift about spraying them. i didn’t even know about them until after the wedding. everyone was safe.  -as of may ‘24 we could use our own catering company, bar tenders (we supplied our own drinks- alch and non alch), dj, and tent people. we did use the tent company she recommended- they r fantastic and have worked with her for a while. they did our tables, chairs, and dance floor also.  - you will be expected to pick up majority of your things night of: food, trash, drinks, etc.  we were welcome back next morning for finish grabbing our things.  -we got night before (rehearsal dinner and some decor set up). all day sat (getting ready, pics, bfast, lunch, ceremony, dinner and reception), and early sunday am. ik the prices went up after we booked, and im not sure how much. but even if it was 2-3k more- it would still be a phenomenal price. the freedom of choice is priceless (and saves u in the long run!) they do have tables and chairs, free of use, if you are looking to save some money:) - i still get compliments on my wedding. my friends, family, husband, and i fell in love with this venue. they ALL only had great things to say and if you have the chance to book here- please do!  -hotels: your guests will drive! we let everyone know to have a DD. we stayed in lex and it was maybe 20 mins? not bad at all.  some stayed in hotels or BnBs around. they have 1 or 2 hotels in paris. majority of my family lives in lex or stayed with people who live in lex.  we didnt feel obligated to have “wedding decor”.  we had a lot of florals and flameless candles. the garden, grounds, and house are the decor. photos are STUNNING! our colors were white and green, but had purples, pinks, blues, etc. bc the gardens. so many photo opp spots too!:)
